Yeah but this is what makes me shake my head (a bit like the constant speculative dot joining). Was Jean-Luc's remark about success in relation to development of AKIDA i.e. bringing it to reality or was he referencing commercial success i.e. pending revenue. I tend to think it was the former, which still leaves us with a great product that no one wants to pay for?

I doubt Jean-Luc would be able to comment on BRN's commercial success just yet. He's a CTO, so I assume you're right and he's commenting on BRN's success in developing Akida.

Saying that, we saw a convo of Chapman89 with Prophesee's Luca where Luca mentioned that he is looking forward to a commercial deal with Brainchip.

I think that is a key comment. Luca sees Akida's potential, knows that it's a success, and now is looking forward to a contract.

If Jean-Luc from Accenture is saying that he is seeing development of Akida as a success, is there less or more chance for Accenture to make a partnership/contract with BRN?
It won't happen tomorrow, but I think both these gentlemen making comments of that nature in this current environment is critical.

They obviously don't want to pay now, from my understanding it is a normal process. Most companies don't pay up front, Renesas and Megachips wanted our IP so they could play with it themselves and hence there were contracts, but other companies get BRN support until they are ready with their final product is what I think.

Yep that makes sense, thanks mate 👍 I still believe patience is the key here for a successful investment in BRN. Holding, hoping and stressing (just a little bit).

stressing (just a little bit).

Normal.
Even the ones who tell you ''we don't need Announcements'', they are a bit stressed too I bet.

Thousands of years' human behaviour has taught us a few things and it's in our genes to be ''safe''.
We don't like risks.
That's how we survived thousands of years in the wilderness.

Investing is different where we face the risk willingly. We are usually taught to avoid it.
Investing in share markets is only a new concept, may be 100 years old, (a few more in certain countries) but it will take some time for us to get it right and get used to it.

😃 I'm looking forward to being reminded how foolish and impatient I 'was' (when the SP is circa 5 bucks 😂).

Google or Microsoft Generative AI text, I still am going to ask for videos.

Hey Chat, show me the lowest market priced for-sale-home video on Daytona Beach Real Estate. Show the videos in order of price between $400,000 and $600,000 with an enclosed swing pool and two car garage.

The point is, it all goes back to the Video sites like Youtube. I don't want just text, the text will lead me to the leader in video!

Microsoft is likely just to point to Youtube, as people will ask for videos. Text is the last thing I want, spoken words is better (ears) but better is Video with Sound and Sight.

I don't see Microsoft affecting Video display, Google. Attention is the Key, Google will win. Microsoft has no youtube.

These guys have partnered with Edge Impulse;

Their chip's power consumption looks higher than Akida, but production planned with customers by Q4/2023.
Didn't post in the main thread as I don't want to upset the marshmallows.

But this is the reality. AI is the new talk in town.
Partnerships are great, but unless we actually sign the contract we don't have a deal and those big guns could choose some one else for IP.
Other AI companies are also competing for the same market, and it is a cut-throat arena.
I used to think we would achieve 10% or more of the market, but now I actually would be happy with 1 to 2% and anything more is a bonus.

I think it won't be a bad idea to start a thread with questions to ask for the upcoming AGM?

Capitulation - this is extreme bullshit now...WTF. 1000 eyes will be eating baked beans for months. This couldn't only be shorters, I reckon retail are panicking now too.

People will be asking themselves if AKIDA is actually any good or just smoke and mirrors.

Are you serious? Mercedes have endorsed and in fact deployed AKIDA. Renases is currently taping out a controller with our IP, the CTO of Accenture has declared AKIDA a success and we have emerging relationships with nViso, Prophesee, IBM and countless others. Do you really think that with all of this, thinking people would even consider AKIDA to be smoke and mirrors. If it turns out thats the reality, this will go down as one of the greatest conspiracies in modern business!!!!!

This isn’t driven by a technical failure, just shit management.

Fuck Sean off, try to find a new CEO to turn this ship around.

All I'm saying is that this is evidently the sentiment out there. The share price doesn't drop from 2.34 to .56 due to an overabundance of enthusiasm and belief in the product.

I don't think it's Sean's fault.
Board are making some of those calls.

We'll I'm hoping it's all strategic and when the time comes the company will release multiple back to back announcements in quick succession.

I agree, and think we’d tank completely if they sacked him now. But a Fuk in update and a bit of positive reinforcement that we are still on track with out commercialisation wouldn’t be out of his job description. I guess it can wait until the report, but. Geeeez.

I have said this before and took some heat (not a problem, I can take the heat) but I am not expecting any updates until LDA gets off our back.

Now, with regards to chart, our today's price action is due to the fact that we broke support yesterday and closed below it.

On the left hand/bottom we can see a couple of gaps from around November 2021 (marked orange circles), I am guessing that would be filled.
There is another gap down below, but if you guys remember, we had a similar situation 2 years ago, and there was a call for that gap fill which did not eventuate. Hopefully we get a similar situation where BRN gets some support above the breakaway gap.

Not trying to create panic, whether I post this or not, share price will do what it does.

It is up to individuals to decide what they want to do. I am staying put personally.
Main reason being, ASX on the whole is down today as well. (Rising tide lifts all ships yada yada).

Full disclosure: I do NOT trade BrainChip.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad!
Anyone getting tricked into selling down with this needs to just stop and think for a second about what has changed between today and yesterday or even last month. Buy or sell, up to you, but don't panic, just re-evaluate where you want to be
