So ok we are all waiting around for the permit decision,

we have all after many years have watched and waited for the “Transformational Year” come and go

and the SP is definitely going sub $1.00

And we wait

So where is everyone’s next holiday

Ours is spending a week with the hounds ( 2 x Maltese cross) staying right on the beach at North Avoca ( just north of Sydney quite close to where we live) plus with 4 friends we have known since our university days in February

Then a trip to Perth in April then a Pacific Cruise in June all next year

What are you doing or looking forward to even over Christmas whilst we all wait ?

Oh, sorry forgot to press reply 😅
... it's all so boring right now

I'm back here now.
Good question, I haven't really thought about it yet. The only thing that seems certain is New York where a friend has a central apartment.
As for Talga, I don't even need to be patient anymore. When it happens, it happens. In the meantime the SP doesn't make me nervous either. As BRN's CEO said - the SP does what the SP does (at the ASX I ad).
We know what everything depends on and I think we all give it a similar chance of a positive outcome.
If I look at other stocks you can see that we've come through the really difficult times pretty well so far.
I'm also tired of being annoyed by people who only think about themselves and not about the community or the climate, who lie to themselves and others.
We know what will happen in the end or we are all betting on it.
If there is anything new I will of course let you know, from my spot. I always have the relevant tabs open.
Otherwise, I think it's unnecessary for me to speculate at the moment about this or that and go through everything again in theory. The supreme court shall decide whether there has been a gross error in the law or its application. That is all. I don't even want to get angry about that anymore.

Yep yep yep! Can’t let the SP put you down too much at the moment (sometimes easier said than done). It will inevitably drop below the $1 SPP price and highly likely, as we’ve seen only recently, 10-15c below. If you have the $$$’s happy days and keep on buying. If not hold the line and chin up.

How long will the SP stay down for? The only thing in the pipeline that will give the push we all so long for is, as someone once or twice said over at “the other place”, the PERMITS. Come on Sweden 🇸🇪

At least, once that little piece of paper has finally been put to bed we will get the avalanche of other announcements that should give our little baby the motor to move well above SP all time highs.

Until then there’s no other option but to head up to The Sunshine Coast, catch some waves and not sweat the little things.

Happy festive period to all if we don’t speak until after then 🍻🤘🏼🏄🏻‍♂️ 🎸

This year may not have been transformational for the SP but I'd say it still has been transformational for the company.
A LOT has happened this year

If someone of you has a good contact to zeeb0t then I would be very grateful if someone of you writes to him and asks to solve the problem with annb0t. It can't be difficult I think. It doesn't make much sense for me as I have sent several direct messages to Nirvana in the past and never got a reply.
But, a lot of us pay and the mass of fees makes it not a small thing that doesn't work in my view. I would be very grateful! Maybe a job for you @JoMo68 or @Diogenese ?

"Trade and cooperation agreement with the United Kingdom: EU Commission proposes one-off extension of the current rules of origin for electric vehicles and batteries.
...
Against this background and in view of the concerns in the European automotive, battery and chemical industries, the Commission today adopted its proposal for a Council Decision. At the same time, the Commission reaffirms its political commitment and strategic support for the further promotion of battery production in the EU. To this end, the Commission will provide funding of up to €3 billion over three years to the most sustainable European battery manufacturers. This will have a significant spill-over effect on the entire European battery value chain, in particular the upstream segment, and support the assembly of electric vehicles in Europe."

I gotta admit so much is constantly talked about in the EU without too much ever happening that I rarely bother reading stuff about the EU............................ but this looks very interesting.................but we are not a battery manufacturer

Do you think the EU might lend us a spare $250 million (?) on top of the Debt package we already have to replace another equity raising and get us fully funded with no further dilution ?

I would like to defend the EU here. I question the policy of the nation states more here. I think you Australians can understand that. The EU only talks and doesn't act!? The EU is still very young with 44a. We have it present with the pandemic, Russia's war, permanent terror and now under conflict in the Middle East and of course the/our Green Transition. How far is Australia on this last issue? On all issues the EU has acted decisively in a way that nation states would not. The EU is currently my hope when I look at my own country when it's about acting rather than just talking.
If the EU would only talk, where would Talga be today? Our application would still be being processed for years instead of being in the very last step. We would also not have €150M at our disposal. By the way, the euro is only 21 years old and is already one of the most important currencies in the world. Where do the regulations and the framework come from, such as the initiative that prepared the ground for Talga in the first place and gave MT the idea that it makes sense to switch from gold to graphite? I think if the EU would only talk and not act we would only be talking about EVs today instead of building them. And I relate that to Tesla and China as well. Everyone saw what the EU was doing and sensed money to earn.

Personally, I'm thinking of the strategic projects pot in this sector as a second step. Incidentally, this is not just being talked about, it has recently been decided and will be adopted. If I put all my hopes together, I hope not for a loan but for real funding. Talga has hired very good lobbyists who have already persuaded the EU to act instead of just talking.

I understand your frustration. But I can't join in because I see it differently. If everything was useless then we could drop everything, talk and cultivate our own fields.

Sorry I think I phrased my wording poorly. I meant nothing much that gets posted about the EU directly affects Talga.

What you have posted last night does have an effect. Perhaps a battery manufacturer will obtain enough funding from the EU to make a bid for Talga after all Euro 1 Billion would value TLG at around AUD$4.40 per share

Cracking Up Lol GIF

I think EN is a real gain in seriousness in terms of internal and external impact for Talga. As a labour minister with experience as union leader. In any other company the union sits opposite the board. So no discussion here at all. No point of attack.
And I imagine the effect in the city parliament in Kiruna. Marvellous.

Tourists terrified by nation's Christmas tradition.

Tourists in Austria have been shocked by a “terrifying” Christmas tradition where people dress up as Krampus and run through the streets with sticks.

British TikTok star Max Balegde was one of the foreigners caught up in the tradition of Krampuslauf (Krampus Run) this week.
Krampus is a horned half-goat, half-demon folklore figure that is said to scare and punish children who have misbehaved.
“I’m in this small Austrian town about to go out and I’ve just been informed that today an annual tradition is happening where hundreds of people dress up as Krampus and roam around the streets attacking people,” Mr Balegde said in a video.
He said he initially laughed it off as a joke but was told: “No it’s not funny. You’ll get whipped. It hurts. Make sure you don’t go outside.”
The video then cut to Mr Balegde screaming while running from a Krampus on a snow covered street.
Another video showed a Krampus whipping the ground near a friend’s feet.

He wasn’t the only one to be surprised by the tradition.
An American tourist shared a TikTok of a Christmas market interrupted by a group of Krampus running with flares and whacking onlookers with their sticks.

One person was even tackled to the ground.
A Canadian expat living in Austria shared that it was “the biggest culture shock so far”.

“I actually didn’t realise they actually hit you (hard enough to bruise!!?!?),” she wrote.

The people dressing up as Krampus wear animal skins and carved wooden masks, as well as bells tied to their costume and hold long sticks.
Videos on TikTok of this year’s Krampuslauf have had millions of views as people on social media discover the tradition for the first time.

“OMG they CHASE YOU?!” one shocked person wrote.

“I would have been screaming, crying, running for my life,” added another.

“What the heck is going on!!!!!!!” exclaimed a third.

“I live in Australia and I’ve never heard of this,” said an Aussie.

Some Austrians warned the tradition in the cities was much more formal and safer than regional areas.

“When I was a kid one of them broke my arm. Never meet Krampus in an Austrian village,” one wrote.

“In the city it’s actually more beautiful (tradition wise) than on the countryside!

NEVER go to a Krampuslauf on the countryside,” said another.

Describing Austria as a Germanic tribe is something we have to be careful with here, especially because of the Second World War.
Historically only small parts north of the Danube can be attributed to the Germanic tribes. But as far as I know this tradition comes from the mountains or Alpine region.
I find it rather funny and beautiful. If they're too soft they don't need to travel there and can hide in the cellar on New Year's Eve.
I'll probably have a look at that fun if time has come.

Don't rely on it.)
Not only for me the areas that later became Austria are not originally the territory of Germanic tribes, with the exception of the area north of the river Danube that was as the river Rhenus the Roman border to the Germanics, but where this tradition is not lived.
And the map you found there is completely wrong. The territory of the Norsemen or Vikings lies in the Scandinavian region. On my map, the transition to Roman territory, which was Celtic before the subjugation, is left of the border. The Germanic tribes themselves had no clear sense of togetherness or community spirit, but were bitter enemies between the tribes on the map and attacked, robbed and burned each other. Even after the Varus battle against the Romans. The term Germanic is a Roman invention for everything that dwells in the forests beyond their border or limes. You can clearly see this border on the map. Even today, this limes can be seen over hundreds of kilometers.
By the way, I live in the Roman colony or city Colonia Agrippina left upper side at the border and river Rhenus.

Oh my God ……nightmares return

I used to work for a Malaysian Chinese property developer when it was developing one of Sydney’s landmark buildings the Queen Victoria Building during the mid 1980’s and they kept taking us Anglos/Euros to lunch in Chinatown and always ordered massive plates of “Phoenix Claws” as they called them ( chicken feet)

My God they were awful 😂

I’m sure they derived great amusement from watching our faces as they were planted on the table……along with the usual dim sims dumplings , pippies in XO sauce etc

They were funny Chinese Malaysians,

What the Fvck!

I don’t buy into this guilt via DNA bullshit

Every Christian country is being told by shit heads ,who usually migrated there, how horrible their country is

The current generation of Japanese should not be measured by Japan’s WW2 atrocities, nor should Germany, Italy etc,

Don’t forget you had plenty of Allies

Currently we have a government that wants us to feel guilt over shit that happened 100 to 200 years ago to the Aborigines

But they won’t themselves apologise for their current fvck ups over immigration and the crime that comes with it

Rant Over !
