'The city, which is home to more than 300,000 people, is collapsing into the millions of shallow, square holes that have been cut into the ground.' Nicolas Niarchos on mineral extraction in Manono, the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Thank you for putting up the question. I’ve got no understanding or position on GL1 and Jones yet cause I just don’t have any information.Quick question, why is everyone so certain the board changes at Global Lithium is positive for AVZ? Could equally be coincidental or a non-event or even negative for AVZ. Am I missing something?
Also anyone have the next ICSID or ICC important date??
I wasn't certain at all and was pretty doubtful but given that they wrote an article on the West Australian on it I imagine they had sources tell them.Quick question, why is everyone so certain the board changes at Global Lithium is positive for AVZ? I don't think anyone is projecting that it's actually a positive for AVZ itself, just that it may be linked to the recent attempt by RCI to pilfer AVZ shares according to the West Australian.Quick question, why is everyone so certain the board changes at Global Lithium is positive for AVZ? Agree, and In my opinion GL1 have called a trading halt while they undertake an internal investigation into his activities before they announce any changes.I don't think anyone is projecting that it's actually a positive for AVZ itself, just that it may be linked to the recent attempt by RCI to pilfer AVZ shares according to the West Australian.
People are hopeful that the scum that are attempting to rob shareholders are taken to task.
Seems quite surgical... no "thank you" on departure from the company?! The language ("resigned... effective immediately") suggests, 'cut ties, introduce newcomers, move-on'... interesting!
Well, we picked that like a snotty nose, and now the facts are out there, we can probably say it's a positive for AVZ from the perspective that GL1 has had to act on the participation of one of it's BoD in the dirty tactics (cough cough) of undermining our BoD through less than savoury tactics, let alone being associated with Carrick. Maybe Pei was also involved in the background?Quick question, why is everyone so certain the board changes at Global Lithium is positive for AVZ? So why don't these cunts just pay us for it fair and square ffs.‘Since this deposit could supply 20 percent of the global lithium supply it is logical to assume that those who end up with Manono will be able to control the world’s lithium price.’

I saw that!I watched a true crime docuseries on Netflix that follows the story of how internet users came together to track down a criminal after a disturbing video surfaced online. Despite them never meeting in real life, their collective efforts led to the capture of the killer.
"Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer
A twisted criminal's gruesome videos drive a group of amateur online sleuths to launch a risky manhunt that pulls them into a dark underworld."
There should be one with
Don't F**k with AVZ: Unmasking the Chinese Payroll Mafia
Good pointsIt's amazing the trail of people who have been willing to bet their reputation, freedom and integrity to get a piece of the action or help the Chinese steal Manono for cents on the dollar.
Each a person in a good position who are already comfortable, why take the risk? It shows how many backdoor bribes and threats have happened over the past few years. Greed begets greed and for some it was too much for them to gain to not take the risk.
This will be their undoing as they will soon find out there is no honor amongst thieves...
Meanwhile you have Nigel and co driven more by vindication and vengeance now more than the possible material gain I suspect.
