I’m really starting to hope someone else steps in and takes the CATH deal instead. Perhaps they can offer to pay the 20m break fee as part of it.

Yeh I have been mulling this one over too. The other thought was ideally FMG taking part ownership of CDL, say 50% for $1 billion. That money funds RD, some road upgrades and we then have a reliable partner for CDL. If CDL is indeed larger than RD, then FMG have a bargain. Andrew Forrest then gets to make a name for himself so he can set up his $100 billion Congo hydro power.
