That’s 95c AUD equivalent for BRCHF.

Should make the shorters a tad bit nervous.

Just saw an add for Samsung smart washers. Didn’t realise they were on the market yet. Does this mean Akida is in the product and on the shelf now $$$$$

Big fan of yours GrandRhino. I think the message clout you provide is massive, you know Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Certainly 1000 eyes appreciates it big time.

I was thinking of the possibility to add a button (Corporate Videos), plus hopefully with Text Transcripts. If we can get the transcripts, it might be an easy paste up on your end, listing each corporate video, plus show the text below each one. That would be a lot of Search Engine Optimization, SEO text with maybe not that much work.

Just tossing out ideas, while thanking you. Best regards.

Hi Stuart,

It's good to hear the feedback and thanks for the ideas! I'm glad you think the website is useful.
Initially I haven't put any effort into SEO, but I might have another look at that now that you mention it.

I really like your idea of adding the videos and transcripts but I'm being super cautious at the moment because of IP issues (eg. not allowed to link to ASX announcements) and I don't really know whether the sharing of a transcript falls into a safe category or not. It's a great idea though, thanks for suggesting! I'll have a think about it some more and see what I can work out.

If you have any more ideas feel free to let me know! :)

Hi Iseki,

You’re a valued poster and obviously a bit passionate about the delays in Renesas producing a product with Akida. Obviously we all want Akida nodes put on a Renesas product asap. Don’t feel humiliated if you get something wrong; we all do; it’s the best way to learn.

I’ve gone back to your original post to try to understand your frustrations better. Forgive me if I am misunderstanding the issue or don’t explain it very well as I’m not a computer person and what I am trying to explain could be wrong anyway so take it with a pinch salt :)

I’m trying to learn also, so I can understand what the company is doing as my future and retirement is invested in it.

The way I understand how it all works is similar to baking a cake. There are many different recipies depending on what result you want to achieve. You can make big cakes, like the Arm M85, or small cakes like the Arm M33. The different families of devices can do different workloads. Using an Arm chip for example is like choosing a brand of flour for the cake. There are many brands. In this instance Renesas are using Arm.

Then the different components are specific to the task the chip is to perform, or like the cake analogy; nuts, raisens or chocolate as per personal preference which might correspond to having for example; bluetooth capabilities, several sensor types and maybe a voice activation system.

Renesas are not going to make an Akida Chip alone unless someone pays them to. The chip/iP needs to be married up with a sensor of some type to recieve information, to then make a decision on that information which is passed onto another part of the device to perform a task. This is my understanding of a System on Chip (SOC). When Brainchip made a chip they also used an Arm chip to put their IP onto it also.

My understanding is that Renesas have paid a million dollars to licence 2 nodes to use in a product (SOC) they are developing. The entire Akida chip had 80 nodes but having 80 nodes when you only need 2 is the equivelant to getting Arnold Swartznagger to lift a feather: not necessary.

We will get royalties from the product as it is sold. Renesas have stated they are going to put 2 nodes onto a System on Chip (SOC) which includes the Arm Cortex M33.

The M33 is a very low powered chip so I am guessing that is why the Akida nodes will be used on it AND why only 2 are required.

If they use something else it will require too much power and therefore will defeat the purpose of getting a low powered chip. An example is the smart wrist watch type applications which is battery powered which is why there was excitement about their latest product release. That was why I was looking into the Voice Wake Activation System but was dissapointed I couldn’t find any details pointing to Akida.

However this is where ultimately Akida will eventually win. As a result of the brilliant neuromorphic cabilities Akida is extremely low powered and yet high performance, plus there is on chip learning. Akida won’t be everywhere, there was always going to be competition. But Akida is the best in class and therefore it will find it’s way into products as it can do what others can’t. So where it is necessary or advantagous to use it I’m sure Renesas will.

If you’re still reading this far, apologies for the length of the post: I hope it makes sense and is helpful.

Cheers
Hi SG,

I agree with everything you have said.

"Renesas are not going to make an Akida Chip alone unless someone pays them to." is my big disappointment. They have rushed in and developed a lot of chips to do the sort of things that Akida IP can give them but with a less sophisticated chip.

I really just want to ramp up as much pressure as possible on the companies BRN and Renesas to give us an estimated date of completion for the M33+Akida chip.

I think this is fair.

Thank you very much for your kind post.

In times of market stress it is easy for many to loose sight of the facts and ignore the use of research.

At the 2021 Ai Field Day Anil Mankar said the following about AKIDA technology:

“Our main business model is selling Ai IP….you can test it out (AKD1000) and then size this problem that you’re trying to solve at the sensor….a smaller sensor that is just monitoring humidity, pressure, temperature, that kind of thing needs a very small amount of IP…we actually have a customer (Renesas) with our only licence of IP so far”

So the takeaway from this statement is that Renesas are seeking to make tiny sensors for temperature, humidity or pressure smart.

In May, 2022 in an interview a representative of Renesas said:

“At the very low end, we have added an ARM M33 MCU and spiking neural network with BrainChip core licensed for selected applications – we have licensed what we need to license from BrainChip including the software to get the ball rolling.”

The CEO Sean Hehir has also confirmed in one of his presentations that Renesas is bringing a set of products using the AKIDA IP to market which I personally believe will be smart MCU’s for sensors covering temperature, humidity and pressure.

The use of the term “very low end” is not a derogatory term when used in the technology space where MCU’s sit in the semiconductor industry as they are the lowest cost building blocks of the entire technology industry and are produced in their billions.

The following link explains MCU’s:

The next link from Statista provides some numbers around the size of the market for low end MCU’s.

Now if you are still with me up to this point you will no doubt remember in the last few days the excitement of Tim Llewellyn as to the extreme levels of performance Nviso was achieving using AKD1000 compared with everything else they had trialled to date and pointed out in the Q&A that the Nvidia CPU which was still running some of their Apps was getting 20 to 25 frames per second while AKD1000 was running at 250 frames per second in that demonstration but in another at 1,000 frames per second. What he did not mention was that AKD1000 was doing its thing without the need for cooling of any sort.

So in summary Renesas tested AKIDA and chose 2 nodes because they want to make low priced MCU’s smart for measuring of temperature, pressure, humidity and in May, 2022 confirmed this is on track. This statement from Renesas that they are on track has also been confirmed by the CEO of Brainchip Sean Hehir.

There is absolutely not one single negative to be drawn from the known and provable facts.

A little research and a few notes if you do not have a retentive memory takes you a long way in this game in my opinion.

My opinion only there is no substitute for doing your own research before making statements as it avoids them being totally incorrect and appearing foolish.

There could be some defacto/standard relationship developed here in my opinion.

1,202 kilometres. That extra two k’s could be very important when 2 k’s from home on a wet stormy night. 😂🤣😂

The serious point of this post is to ask if anyone has handy the line in the original statement from Mercedes Benz announcing using AKIDA where it states that when applied at scale etc; etc;

This further improvement in range of about 100 kilometres despite using the air conditioning for eight hours of the trip suggests further improvements which fits with a recent statement of Rob Telson in the podcast he did with the Ai people of continuing to work with Mercedes Benz on developments.

These three facts might be worth putting into a more precise format if anyone has the time.

Sadly no. And until Renesas actually deliver our M33+Akida chip we can't be a part of their massive eco-system IMHO.

20percent improvement is amazing in a short time frame
E,
When they did the first run, they did mention that they had some more juice in the tank (or should I say battery?) when they achieved their target.

I guess the first time it was to prove to the world that they could do 1000 kms and this round was to push it's own limits.

Good result but the volume was only 49,000 shares traded.
That about right for the US Market overnight when its quiet. they dont do 1+ Million days in trades.

@0.95c AUD we should see a movement upward to match..............maybe

ASX just took a dip though............OK AMENDMENT - 1 hour later now and the ASX has been down and come back up strongly. in the green.
Shorters have been trying to hold down BRN but charts are showing a BOTTOM and a rebound. If so this move will bring us back into a promissing UPTREND! lets hope we win out over the Shorters.

They put that extra at up to an additional 140 kilometres in a Mercedes article I read.
