Again @manny100 I think you’re underplaying our situation a bit. Of course BRN won’t be a NVidia we play in different markets (for now). The edge, the way I see it is a much bigger opportunity than data centre domination; the edge will unfold with so much ‘surface area’ of potential use cases and opportunities that haven’t been thought of yet. If BRN secures 1% of a multi-trillion dollar edge industry which will also include the space industry where we already know we are going to dominate then that’s 1% of trillions! I’m sure it’ll finish up being much more than 1% too. AIMO.The knockers on HC are largely traders who try to push the price down to the lowest support level.
They are still going in hard.
No ceiling on a share price for me.
We have a global reach just like NVIDIA. We have an SOI of 2 billion , NVIDIA have an SOI of about 25 billion.
If NVIDIA had only 2 bill SOI like us instead of being $US147.22 last night they would have been around $US1850 per share.
So, NVIDIA may be sky high in revenue and net earnings but the enormous SOI holds them back. Even if we get to 10% of NVIDIA then SOI to SOI comparatively today our US share price would be $US185, 1% of NVIDIA would see us at $US18.50 per share today.
Not saying we will be anything like NVIDIA but by US standards our SOI is not that high so we only need to be a little NVIDIA to do well SP wise.
Given the Edge is likely to be big we should aim for a least little plus.
Dreaming but maybe FF's $A40 or even $US40 is not unachievable - market willing and BRN performs as we expect.
Our SOI is likely to grow a bit over time as well.
Its likely as the Edge grows we will see the inevitable 'Edge' share market bubble at some point.
One of my favourite musicians of all time has come back from the dead to help the BRN cause. What a synergy!!Can find it in this thread

What's the bet that MDA wants to protect their neuromorphic satellite payloads and the space based infrastructure with neuromorphic cyber security.......

Abstract
An optical information collection system includes a neuromorphic sensor to collect optical information from a scene in response to change in photon flux detected at a plurality of photoreceptors of the neuromorphic sensor. A sensor stimulator stimulates a subset of the plurality of photoreceptors according to an eye movement pattern in response to a control command. A controller generates the control command that includes instructions to execute the eye movement pattern

Beat me to itTom Petty. Program manager in advanced electronics. That's quite the pivot.
Yep, just using examples to show if we keep our SOI in reasonable check and the market is huge we should do very, very well. Sean is on record of saying BRN in a decade aim to be in the top 2 or 3 leaders in the Edge industry. If that is the case we should have a decent chunk of the market and a very decent SP. A lot of course has to go right for us.Again @manny100 I think you’re underplaying our situation a bit. Of course BRN won’t be a NVidia we play in different markets (for now). Hi TopCat,
we can 100% exclude that they haven’t heard of BrainChip, as two of the researchers who collaborated on the publication in Nature had/have connections to our company:

Published in #Nature today. Over the course of one year, a team of 23 researchers from 17 organizations across the world, worked diligently thinking about the state of neuromorphic computing and how to achieve largescale systems. We couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world! When we...www.linkedin.com

New research shows AI systems are getting closer to processing information like humans
RIT engineering professor Cory Merkel was one of more than a dozen researchers in neuromorphic computing contributing findings published on Jan. 22 in Natuwww.rit.edu
Also, Cory Merkel and lead author Dhireesha Kudithipudi (University of Texas-San Antonio) “have been long-time collaborators from when she was a professor in RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering.” (until 2019)
And some of the other neuromorphic researchers listed are definitely at least aware of BrainChip… So there must be another reason for the omission.
Below the image you posted it says “This is a subset of publicly announced neuromorphic chips/subsystems”.
The publication itself (behind a paywall) might provide an explanation?
Could it have to do with the fact that the researchers seem to have focused on the development of future large-scale neuromorphic systems in this publication, whereas BrainChip was viewed to target only or primarily the extreme Edge AI market?
(On a side note: Why does it state there are four, but only three are visible?
)
