Wow! MetaTF is embedded in Edge Impulse software (from 5 minute mark)!

This is a genuine 2-way partnership!

At 7:40 - quantization* - reducing the size of models and activation.

Training NNs was new to EI - I guess this is Akida ML

Accuracy (11:00) EI EON Tuner enables the user to fine tune the model ( https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/docs/edge-impulse-studio/eon-tuner )

MobilNet rearchitected with AkidaNet

My Comment: BRN is tightly interwoven with EI. NNs need models. EI does models automatically. BRN improves EI's model production processes.

We are lifting each other up by our bootstraps!

* not just 32 bits to 4 bits - this is the Akida N:M secret sauce.

The enthusiasm between Spencer and Steve was palpable. We are on this journey together.

Can anyone tell me who this guy is? Mainly want to know if he is or was a brainchip member? For the life of me I know the face but can't work out the name. Once I know I can dot join 😀 View attachment 75998
No idea, beard and random haircut is either a professor kind of dude or one that like sitting in a bar having some beers, LOL.

Remember last year when someone listed Toshiba as a partner of ours and then it was quickly taken down. I believe it was displayed on a website of one of our partners. Does anyone remember this? I wonder what is happening on the Toshiba front.

hi all

@Frangipani @Diogenese @Mt09

Perhaps I have misinterpreted the Beacon. I was just going through old Ant61 posts to try and find where I have noted it down from.
I found this which is potentially where I have made a boo boo.

Yes - it could certainly be interpreted that way - and combining the two would provide a very useful package, so we're not totally out of the picture.

3 bucks?

PVDM will be $450 million dollars (ish) richer. Not a bad little legacy to leave his family.

I'd take $3 at this point. I had dreams of selling at $10 but that seems way off at this point.
Why take $3 if you could get $30?

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Wow! Check this out!

I don't think this has been posted previously because I checked bunch of terms on the TSEx search bar and they didn't come up (i.e. SAM.gov, EPIC Warefighter, govconwire, and C41C).

This particular article talks about the US government intending to award an other "transaction agreement worth $499 million within a 60 month period" and the "RFI also mentions neuromorphic computing, which refers to computing technologies that are modeled after how the human brain processes data." It goes on to say that the "AFRL is seeking research and development efforts to advance the understanding of “computationally intelligent systems” that can deliver increased perception, adaptability, resiliency, autonomy and energy efficiency. "

The article is dated 20th August 2024 and 60 months is 5 years, which I guess means the transaction agreement can occur at any point in time up to 20th August 2029.

THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY!!!!

AFRL Issues Information Request for EPIC Warfighter Capabilities Prototyping Program

The Air Force Research Laboratory is soliciting industry input for innovative new technology and capabilities to support warfighters.
According to a request for information posted on SAM.gov, the Expansion and Prototype Initiative for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence and Cyber program, or EPIC, aims to develop, demonstrate and deliver C4IC systems or subsystems for the U.S. Air Force and maintain military technological advantage against adversaries.
The government intends to award an other transaction agreement worth up to $499 million to develop prototypes within a 60-month period.
The AFRL is specifically seeking concepts and designs that introduce emerging technologies that can enhance computational capabilities for greater system adaptability, advanced machine learning applications, high-performance embedded computing that supports onboard processing, and other computing technologies.
The RFI also mentions neuromorphic computing, which refers to computing technologies that are modeled after how the human brain processes data. The AFRL is seeking research and development efforts to advance the understanding of “computationally intelligent systems” that can deliver increased perception, adaptability, resiliency, autonomy and energy efficiency.
Air Force researchers also want open system architecture for interoperable C4IC systems and subsystems.
Interested parties may submit their capability to meet the program’s technical requirements until Aug. 30.

Does anyone actually know the reason why ANT61 failed first time round .........
Did ANT61 ever formally fully disclose with what went wrong .... besides a general comment that they lost communications with the craft soon after launch /orbit ??????

Why aren't they bidding now?

I love the optimism but if NVIDIA, apple, google wanted to buy us, surely they would have offered already. What's a cool $5 billion to them? Like 5 bucks to me lol
They will be interested in buying us when we become an attractive addition to their business model or a threat to their percentage of the market. The market BrainChip are establishing themselves in is still nascent and neither attractive or threatening to the behemoths ats. AIMO.
Market circumstances could change very quickly though.

Wonder if we are talking with these guys as I would presume given a couple of team members backgrounds with Prophesee, in particular, and Intel they'd know about us.

Couple be an interesting convo for BRN to at least have with them?

So we won the below contract with a subcontractor yet to be officially named.

Mapping Complex Sensor Signal Processing Algorithms onto Neuromorphic Chips

I see our friends at Bascom Hunter were at the US Navy Sea Air Space event earlier last year.

Gee....their demo title is quite familiar....I wonder if this was the initial POC to enable a direct to Ph II.

We also know they just released their Snap Card too.

Not saying they are the subcontractor, could be, but could also be someone like RTX as we're thinking.
