Real time Cybersecurity will be a major market for Brainchip.

It will require constant vigilance in the generation of new fingerprint models as the hackers develop new techniques.

It runs on Akida 1, but perhaps Akida 2 can bring additional improvements.

I'm not sure of the complexities of retrofitting to legacy processors via a USB stick instead of the M2 board for those of us who only use lefthanded screwdrivers.

Agree, if the statement " the only game in town" is correct then it should be a huge growing market for BRN.
On a global basis i would think that sales are all about volume. M.2 is selling for $249 each on the website. We would IP license it for an upfront fee and a royalty. Sean is on record as saying we would make a margin of around 90% on royalties so big $$.
For example, if a Cyber Security box (as pictured on BRN web site) sells for say $1000 and we get a 10% royalty we get $100 a box = big $$$ on volume. I am guessing and everyone will have their own idea of potential volumes, margins, royalty, and box prices.
I imagine the market could run into millions of sales on a global basis.

On a side note, I received my M.2 device yesterday. True to their word, I received it within 7 days. I had intended to use this on my Dell motherboard, but I would need to get or move the existing clip to ensure it could be secured. It's a 2260 form factor, so it is shorter than most NVMe drives available today, so I can't clip it down right now.

During my exchange with the Regional Sales Manager, I commented that I hoped they release a version of the device with a USB interface. The response was "We had a USB interface product long ago, but it didn’t offer the right level of performance. So, we no longer offer it."

I heard people mention USB before but never knew if they had one generally available to the public as they do with their current enablement platforms. The reference chip diagram does specify that it has a USB 3.0 endpoint, so at 5 Gbps, it would have fared a lot better with USB 3.1 or 3.2 (I'm not sure what the sweet spot is for Akida). Still, it has throughput needs beyond the USB specification for the version baked into the chip. Given what I know now, I probably won't invest in a USB enclosure for the device, since even a USB-C connector would have to throttle down to match the chip's I/O speed.

I've ordered a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 development kit, which is about 143.00 USD (shipping is brutal at 57.49 USD since it comes from Malaysia) and includes the interface card with the M.2 slot.

A fun fact: I was looking high and low for the M.2 device's asset tag, in and around the box, in the static bag, on the packing slip, etc. I finally e-mailed them back asking where I could find it and the reply was a 2-digit number. Sure enough, there was a tiny sticker on one of the small chips with that number, confirming it was a very short asset tag. The one on the PCIe device was much longer.

I thought the 2-digit number sticker was something like the QA inspector #, like the ones they put in packs of Fruit-of-the-Loom® underwear.

I see our friends at QV were also awarded a small contract for a Ph I SBIR in Aug last year with end date around April this year.

This one for the Missile Defence Agency for a Cyber Threat Hunter....wonder if Akida will be part of the solution on this one too given the recent info on CyberNeuro-RT.

Imo Lockeed’s MFC division involvement in the CNRT development may indicate Akida’s in this SBIR as well.

Tom is very good at deep research and putting his own spin on things, but at the end of the day, in my opinion, why would you 110% bag hot crapper, move over to the TSEX forum and then pack yet another sad and move back over to the hot crapper site...unless you're looking for a fight...there are many self-centred, opinionated personalities over on that site, and in my view it's traders and egos "central".

We have a current, fairly balanced mix here at TSEX.

I never really looked at FF as a manipulator rather he moved on for reasons known to us which was constantly being criticised from another on here . Ether way I do hope we reach substantial $$$ this year as we all deserve it and so does the BRN team.
Been a long rd to date, getting very excited these days about our potential in 2025.

The knockers on HC are largely traders who try to push the price down to the lowest support level.
They are still going in hard.
No ceiling on a share price for me.
We have a global reach just like NVIDIA. We have an SOI of 2 billion , NVIDIA have an SOI of about 25 billion.
If NVIDIA had only 2 bill SOI like us instead of being $US147.22 last night they would have been around $US1850 per share.
So, NVIDIA may be sky high in revenue and net earnings but the enormous SOI holds them back. Even if we get to 10% of NVIDIA then SOI to SOI comparatively today our US share price would be $US185, 1% of NVIDIA would see us at $US18.50 per share today.
Not saying we will be anything like NVIDIA but by US standards our SOI is not that high so we only need to be a little NVIDIA to do well SP wise.
Given the Edge is likely to be big we should aim for a least little plus.
Dreaming but maybe FF's $A40 or even $US40 is not unachievable - market willing and BRN performs as we expect.
Our SOI is likely to grow a bit over time as well.
Its likely as the Edge grows we will see the inevitable 'Edge' share market bubble at some point.

I don't recall the USB product, unless it was those bottle openers liberally scattered about the wrinkled table cloths in days of yore. Probably an EAP NDA project. Whatever it was, it predated QV CNRT.

One thing about cybresecurity is that, unlike spoken language, code has a strictly limited vocabulary and syntax. Thus the model would be comparatively quite small. I guess cybersecurity would need LSTM (or TENNs) to identify good v bad from the context. In fact, I would think TENNs would shine.

We know thar QV used Akida 1. We also know TENNs can be used stand-alone, so is there potential for a future CNRT/TENNs peoduct?

The trend up started in September'24 so its a long pump. Doubt its about the quarterly alone.
Having said that there might be some buying in anticipation of revenue but we have by now been well and truly conditioned to low revenue.
The shorts have been selling into strength the last few days especially. They have been conditioned to sell into BRN market strength.
The uptrend is more likely the news since September with the M.2 involvement with Cybersecurity only game in town being most recent.
Lets hope it continues. The news is likely just some of the engagements starting to bear fruit plus new product developments as clients get serious about what they want. All look good.
