BRN Discussion Ongoing

The knockers on HC are largely traders who try to push the price down to the lowest support level.
They are still going in hard.
No ceiling on a share price for me.
We have a global reach just like NVIDIA. We have an SOI of 2 billion , NVIDIA have an SOI of about 25 billion.
If NVIDIA had only 2 bill SOI like us instead of being $US147.22 last night they would have been around $US1850 per share.
So, NVIDIA may be sky high in revenue and net earnings but the enormous SOI holds them back. Even if we get to 10% of NVIDIA then SOI to SOI comparatively today our US share price would be $US185, 1% of NVIDIA would see us at $US18.50 per share today.
Not saying we will be anything like NVIDIA but by US standards our SOI is not that high so we only need to be a little NVIDIA to do well SP wise.
Given the Edge is likely to be big we should aim for a least little plus.
Dreaming but maybe FF's $A40 or even $US40 is not unachievable - market willing and BRN performs as we expect.
Our SOI is likely to grow a bit over time as well.
Its likely as the Edge grows we will see the inevitable 'Edge' share market bubble at some point.
Again @manny100 I think you’re underplaying our situation a bit. Of course BRN won’t be a NVidia we play in different markets (for now). The edge, the way I see it is a much bigger opportunity than data centre domination; the edge will unfold with so much ‘surface area’ of potential use cases and opportunities that haven’t been thought of yet. If BRN secures 1% of a multi-trillion dollar edge industry which will also include the space industry where we already know we are going to dominate then that’s 1% of trillions! I’m sure it’ll finish up being much more than 1% too. AIMO.

You heard about the incredible efficiency of Chinese DeepSeek vs. ChatGPT? I was wondering…. are they leveraging targeted expert activation through its Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture employing Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs)? Its architecture aligns conceptually. Adapting pre-trained weights into SNNs is not trivial, but startups could explore this approach. Attached a paper discussing the “how to do it”.

The hope of potential generational wealth is real
Can find it in this thread ;)

Just realized yours was for the MDA....

What's the bet that MDA wants to protect their neuromorphic satellite payloads and the space based infrastructure with neuromorphic cyber security.......

https://thestockexchange.com.au/threads/hypersonic.1094/

Quantum Ventura also teamed with Lockheed Martin for "Hypersonic Threat Detection" using bio-inspired processing, neuromorphic computing and Advanced AI

Also interesting is this one which seems more focused on sensors:

https://web.archive.org/web/20210413022958/https://www.sbir.gov/node/1713521

Autonomous Missile Detection using Bio-Inspired Sensors

OBJECTIVE:

Develop innovative designs for a bio-inspired sensor that is optimized for autonomously detecting, identifying, tracking, and reporting dim missile threats in cluttered and noisy scenes.

It's interesting when it references research from a Thomas Petty:

US20200249080 - OPTICAL INFORMATION COLLECTION SYSTEM

Applicants
THOMAS EDMUND PETTY
NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS CORPORATION

Abstract
An optical information collection system includes a neuromorphic sensor to collect optical information from a scene in response to change in photon flux detected at a plurality of photoreceptors of the neuromorphic sensor. A sensor stimulator stimulates a subset of the plurality of photoreceptors according to an eye movement pattern in response to a control command. A controller generates the control command that includes instructions to execute the eye movement pattern

Yep, just using examples to show if we keep our SOI in reasonable check and the market is huge we should do very, very well. Sean is on record of saying BRN in a decade aim to be in the top 2 or 3 leaders in the Edge industry. If that is the case we should have a decent chunk of the market and a very decent SP. A lot of course has to go right for us.

Don't you dare bag chicken salt.

Perhaps akida is the vinegar to go with it.

Interesting read regarding Private AI Assistants. Seems like Akida will play a critical part especially with the power saving aspect.

Enhanced Privacy in Communication
In an era of constant surveillance and data scraping, Private AI Agents can act as intermediaries in your digital communications. They can encrypt messages, filter spam, and even manage your social media interactions, ensuring your digital footprint remains under your control.

Challenges and the Road Ahead

While the potential of Private AI Agents is immense, several challenges must be addressed. One major hustle is the computational power required to run sophisticated AI models. Advances in edge computing and hardware optimization are critical to making these agents viable for everyday use, but decentralized systems like blockchains can do the job very well.

Ensuring user trust is paramount. Transparent operations, security protocols, and continuous updates are necessary to maintain the integrity of these agents."

The company would be taken in my opinion if this was the case

Seans vision of building an Eco system of partners is certainly coming to fruition.
Andes Technology Corporation has more than 150 partner company's in their Eco system alone.
From their web site -"We aim to provide a win-win cooperative environment for our users and our partners. In this ecosystem, users and partners could communicate and work together to come up with customized total solutions".
Our overall extended Eco system now must be many multiples of the above figure.
BRN is well on their way to becoming ubiquitous.
Good luck to all fellow genuine SH, the future is looking very prosperous indeed.

Hi TopCat,

we can 100% exclude that they haven’t heard of BrainChip, as two of the researchers who collaborated on the publication in Nature had/have connections to our company:

Gert Cauwenberghs (UC San Diego) was on the BrainChip Scientific Advisory Board from 2015-2017…

… and Cory Merkel is Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), which joined the BrainChip University AI Accelerator Program in November 2022:

Also, Cory Merkel and lead author Dhireesha Kudithipudi (University of Texas-San Antonio) “have been long-time collaborators from when she was a professor in RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering.” (until 2019)

And some of the other neuromorphic researchers listed are definitely at least aware of BrainChip… So there must be another reason for the omission.

Below the image you posted it says “This is a subset of publicly announced neuromorphic chips/subsystems”.

The publication itself (behind a paywall) might provide an explanation?
Could it have to do with the fact that the researchers seem to have focused on the development of future large-scale neuromorphic systems in this publication, whereas BrainChip was viewed to target only or primarily the extreme Edge AI market?

The reply on LinkedIn given by SpiNNcloud Systems (two of whose co-founders were among the authors of that paper published in Nature) confirms my prior speculation as to why BrainChip may have been omitted in that image:

BrainChip does get acknowledged as a major neuromorphic player, though, if that’s any consolation:
