Here you go @TECH"Real Revenue"
What does that really mean?
The signing of an IP License? or all that follows that initial signing in the years ahead?
Your opinion will most likely differ from mine, but that's what makes this an open public forum, doesn't it?
Having watched the AGM live on-line last May, I can't remember exactly what Sean said or didn't say in regard to AKD 2.0, but has the company actually stated that Anil and Co. have finalized the design work and that the foundry (TSMC) have actually signed off on the completed reference chip/s?
As mentioned, months ago, I did try to get an update for all shareholders, not from Sean but from the founder himself, who I personally believe is still the correct one to reveal this technical information to the shareholders in the first instance, but that's just me.
I'm looking for an update within the next 6 months, if not before, with regards more IP Licenses being signed off on, and the official acknowledgment that AKD 2.0 is 100% completed, with reference chips readily available for our elite clients.
As some have rightfully pointed out, Sean received what he was entitled to, nothing to see here, move on please.
Cheers.

When Zach Shelby is talking about this slide he refers to their recent partnership with Polyn technology for ultra low power applications and the announcement below talks about wearables Etc. when he talks about BrainChip he talks anout it covering the higher end. I am a bit confused by this as we are ultra low power and ideal for wearables. Thoughts anyone? In case anybody missed this the other week, the CEO of Edge Impulse presenting.

How do you personally think he is tracking so far FF? in general terms so to speakHere you go @TECH
This is exactly what he said about all the things you have raised:
âWHERE ARE WE GOING
The Market is moving to the edge, and we are already here. I spoke earlier about a 3 three-legged stool that highlighted research, product, and now commercialization, but as stated earlier the floor that the stool sits on is the market. That market is large, fast growing, and requires more intelligence at the edge.
Today's data center AI model is power hungry, bandwidth wasting, lacks flexibility, not very intelligent and not suited for these undeniable technology trends toward distributed intelligence and learning at the edge.
As I get ready to close my prepared remarks, letâs go back to the foundation. Two visionaries and the others that followed, worked diligently to create our world changing technology. Unapparelled in its flexibility, scalability, performance thatâs been technically vetted by prospects, customer, and analysts. And with all my comments about commercialization, I want to assure you there is equal focus, energy, and resources to not only maintain our competitive advantage created by those visionaries but extend it.
We are:
⢠Aggressively sourcing and hiring world class tech talent.
⢠Filing new patents.
⢠Working diligently on documentation, look/feel, UI to make our technology
easier to consume.
⢠Paying close attention to our competitors.
⢠Refining, expanding, and accelerating our roadmap and see opportunities
beyond the edge.
For the short term, you can expect another major release of next generation IP and another reference chip prior to the next AGM.
Lastly before I turn the meeting back over to Antonio, let me briefly recap.
Itâs been nearly a half year of building a commercial engine that is just now starting to reveal its possibility.
Key priorities and initiatives include:
⢠Structuring Commercialization.
⢠Understanding our Market Ecosystem.
⢠Clarifying our Business Model.
⢠Ensuring Product-Market Fit.
⢠Focusing on Marketing.
⢠Expanding Sales.
Our work on the commercialization leg of the stool has made substantial progress but it is a journey of continuing improvement.
But when you couple this commercial engine with our differentiated IP product, delivering proven and an exponential improvement on anything else available, plus a market which is moving to the edge, I am highly confident that the commercial results will come in a steady and sustainable fashion.
Even with all this hard work on commercialization in the last 5 months, the company and myself should be judged not on effort, but results. With that said, I look forward to standing before you next year to share all the progress and results from this next critical chapter of BrainChipâs commercialization.
Thank youâ
Not an opinion direct from ASX price sensitive announcements after AGM
Regards
FF

ROHM, Mazda, and Imasen Sign a Joint Agreement to Develop Inverters for e-Axle Using ROHM SiC Power Modules
PUBLISHED
NOV 22, 2022 5:00PM EST
Santa Clara, CA and Kyoto, Japan, Nov. 22, 2022(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ROHM Semiconductor today announced they have signed a joint development agreement with Mazda Motor Corporation (Mazda) and Imasen Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., (Imasen) for inverters and SiC power modules to be used in the electric drive units of electric vehicles, including e-Axle.
As the âheart of the EVâ, e-Axle integrates a motor, reduction gearbox, and inverter into a single unit that plays a large part in determining the driving performance and power conversion efficiency of electric vehicles. SiC MOSFETs in particular are expected to improve efficiency even further.
ROHM will carry out joint inverter development for e-Axle by participating in a âcooperative framework for the electric drive units development and productionâ with companies such as Imasen and led by Mazda. At the same time, ROHM will contribute to the creation industry-leading compact, high efficiency electrical units by developing and supplying advanced SiC power modules that provide improved performance.
Through this collaboration, ROHM will develop even more competitive SiC MOSFETs and modules by working backwards from the finished vehicle to understand the performance and optimal drive method required of power semiconductors.
Besides creating new value through mutual understanding between car and device manufacturers, the three companies also support technical innovation in the automotive field and contribute to a sustainable society by leveraging extensive knowledge, technologies, and products garnered on a global basis.
Ichiro Hirose, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer; Oversight of R&D, Cost Innovation and Innovation, Mazda Motor CorporationâWe are pleased to collaborate on the development and production of e-Axle with ROHM, who hopes to create a sustainable mobility society through outstanding semiconductor technologies and advanced system solution development capabilities, to co-create a new value chain that directly links semiconductor devices and vehicles in both directions as electrification brings us closer to carbon neutrality. By partnering with like-minded companies, Mazda is committed to injecting âdriving pleasureâ into every product - including electric vehicles.â
Katsumi Azuma, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer and COO, ROHM Co., Ltd.âWe are extremely pleased to work together on the development and production of e-Axle with Mazda, who is committed to providing âdriving pleasureâ that expresses the inherent appeal of cars. Through this partnership, we hope that by reflecting the true demands and requests in our products we can develop automotive systems that contribute to decarbonization while allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of Mazdaâs goal of creating cars that are sustainable with the earth and society. As the role of semiconductors in the automotive market continues to grow, ROHM will strive to manufacture high quality products and contribute to the creation of a sustainable mobility society by offering a wide range of solutions.â
Reference InformationAs semiconductors, ROHMâs core products, play an increasingly important role in achieving a decarbonized society, improving the efficiency of motors and power supplies in particular - which are said to account for most of the worldâs electricity consumption - has become a major mission of ROHM.
Against this backdrop, ROHM has formulated a management vision for 2020: âWe focus on power and analog solutions and solve social problems by contributing to our customersâ needs for âenergy savingsâ and âminiaturizationâ of their products.â And to further contribute to society, ROHM will clarify the direction ROHM should take while raising awareness among all Group employees.
For electric vehicles, more compact, efficient, lightweight electric systems are being developed with the goal of becoming carbon neutral. Especially for electric vehicles, the inverter, which plays a central role in the drive system, needs to be made more efficient to extend the cruising range and reduce the size of the onboard battery, increasing the expectations for SiC power devices.
As the first supplier in the world to begin mass production of SiC MOSFETs in 2010, followed by the first full SiC power modules in 2012 and trench-type SiC MOSFETs (3rd Generation) in 2015, ROHM continues to develop SiC device technologies ahead of the industry.
In 2020 ROHM completed development of its latest (4th Generation) SiC MOSFETs that deliver improved short-circuit withstand time along with the industryâs lowest ON-resistance, making it possible to extend the cruising range of electric vehicles by reducing power consumption 6% vs. IGBTs (as calculated by the international standard WLTC fuel efficiency test) when installed in the main inverter. In addition to bare chips, ROHM is currently developing products with discrete packages, and this collaboration will allow the company to develop and offer power modules equipped with the latest (4th Generation) SiC MOSFETs.
Supporting InformationAn overview of SiC power devices that includes SiC MOSFETs, SiC SBDs, and SiC power modules (together with various support content that provide an introduction and enable quick evaluation of 4th Generation SiC MOSFETs) can be found on ROHMâs dedicated SiC webpage: https://www.rohm.com/products/sic-power-devices
My personal opinion requires two disclosures before being given:How do you personally think he is tracking so far FF? in general terms so to speak

Anyone who has spent time reading papers and patents from the pen of Dr. Arpan Pal and team at TCS will know that many propose the involvement of mobile phones for providing the processing for monitoring health and bringing AKIDA technology and mobile phones together has some significant attraction in my opinion.Tata Group is planning to multiply the number of employees at its electronics factory in southern India that makes iPhone components, adding tens of thousands of workers as part of a push to win more business from Apple Inc. (AAPL)
While we're here let's boost his numbers
Thankfully, Akida does more than make your pee smell funny! My personal opinion requires two disclosures before being given:
1. I am star struck and in awe of the AKIDA (Science Fiction) technology;
and,
2. I am watching Rick Stein cutting (picking) asparagus and the humble asparagus takes three years from planting to first cut. To farm asparagus you need patience. In my business the majority of my clients from the moment they walked through the door until I was paid took three to five years. As long as I correctly identified the issues and did my job correctly I could have confidence in the outcome. So unlike most I do not have the absence of income at the forefront of my analysis of any company.
So as I love the technology, have patience and do not prioritise income over other elements of building a business rather I see income as the product of those elements I am well satisfied with what he and the rest of the Brainchip team are achieving.
In fact I personally could not ask for more than what has been achieved to date.
My opinion only DYOR
