because they are safer than having a human behind the wheel

Now I can see companies of all shapes and sizes frantically investigating the best options they currently have available to them to be part of this transition to the future.
I know one Principle Scientist at TATA, the 64th biggest company on the planet by MC (152 billion), who will set them straight on to the right source for that kind of tech.

Hold em tight.

Unless the CEO lied, the next 2 4C reports should generate some interest in our little company, those who do not hold a position will be keen to be part of this global disruption.

SP appreciation will follow revenue appearing on the books…. Fact….
But before then lets get another advancement in the Akida generation as a Christmas gift.

Yeah, I was sort of thinking that as well. Maybe the agreement was for Sean to receive 2 million shares after reaching one year at Brainchip. Even so, this definitely shows Brainchip are very happy with how Sean has performed over the year :)
Not really. It shows that he has been with Brainchip for a year.

Whether they are happy with him or not, they vested after 12 months regardless of performance. In saying that, at least they haven't fired him 🤣🤣

Sean Hehir was appointed 15 November last year so there is a fair chance they vested after 12 months.
Restricted Stock units usually have no performance conditions and are awarded by the elapse of time. Performance Stock Units are awarded on a sliding scale based on full year results.

There was always going to be a sweatener to get him to join but i do hope future awards are peformance based.

Thanks Rise,

I clicked on the link in the Linkedin post to watch this 80 minute video & then I had to register to watch this panel, listening now.....great discussions on everything we are doing. No mention of BrainChip yet but they are really talking a lot about spiking Neural Networks & they get it, they are very excited about the 1000 x energy savings to save the planet & the event based type of computing going forward.

Since we have now confirmed basically that TCS are an EAP I think this video is very relevant.

And FF, I know how much you love to slip SCIENCE FICTION into as many posts as you can, well they just said it in this panel discussion at 38.48 minute mark the Panel Host says, "the future really is here, the Science Fiction Future, you know, that you guys are building".

It's great to be a shareholder (y)
youre welcome smile GIF

Nice, I haven't watched it yet a bit busy with my Lil guy 🐶
Sounds like it's a very informative vid.

Rohm have a NN which uses magnetic MemRistors:

US2022172034A1 NEURAL NETWORK
1669774647142.png

A neural network includes first electrode lines in parallel, second electrode lines in parallel, a ferroelectric layer, neuron circuits, a first direction control circuit, and a second direction control circuit. The second electrode lines extend in a direction different from the first electrode lines. The ferroelectric layer is arranged between the first electrode lines and the second electrode lines. The neuron circuits are provided in the first electrode lines, respectively. The first direction control circuit is connected between the neuron circuits and the first electrode lines. The second direction control circuit is connected between the neuron circuits and the second electrode lines. The first electrode lines and the second electrode lines are capacitively coupled to form synapse devices at intersections in a plan view, each of the intersections being a portion where a first electrode line and a second electrode line intersect with each other.

[0005] When the synapse devices are implemented by variable resistance elements as in WO2019/078367 and Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2019-179499, a current should steadily be fed to the synapse devices in storing (training) and reading (retrieving) data. Therefore, in particular when the number of synapse devices increases for high integration, power consumption may increase.

[0006] The present disclosure was made to solve such a problem, and an object thereof is to lower power consumption in a hardware neural network.

Their solution is analog - so not based on Akida IP unfortunately.

Yes the ones I hate are where they are being led from the building in handcuffs having defrauded shareholders for millions and millions of dollars.😞😞😞

Hi @Diogenese

The following EE Times article states:

“This AxlCORE-ODL block has been combined with Rohm’s high-efficiency 8-bit CPU tinyMicon MatisseCORE IP to enables both AI learning and inference for predictive maintenance of motors and sensors in real-time.

The combination of the 20,000 gate AI core and the 8bit controller cuts the typical power consumption to around 30mW, a tenth that of other edge AI processors.”

Given what it is doing and that this could be done with a couple of AKIDA IP nodes it does not seem to have been compared with AKIDA the only commercially available IP for CSNN on the market according to Dr. Arijit Mukherjee.

I wonder why when they could have ordered a board on line for a few hundred and compared themselves with the only commercially available product in the market they hope to be commercialising in 2024???

I read their web site and a few articles and did not pick up where they are suggesting running it on a battery???? All a (8) bit strange.

My opinion only DYOR

Not sure if I'm just being an idiot but what does the graphic actually mean?
Are we not low power? are we only in the "image/video" space?
Also based on the latest job description, we are linked to Cadence/Synopsis even if it's just the environments the engineers work in.

Plz send help, I'm just not sure what it means

Was just having a look at this paper again and found the full original which is attached for anyone to have a look at.

Appears some promise in the project but still work to do to refine.

One thing I did pick up is that with the Cyber-Neuro RT project, which we were also being utilised in from memory, the Authors note they now have access to the INRC (11), presumably to compliment the project research with Akida?

Further to the other paper posted on contraband substances, found the other one @Rise from the ashes managed to partially grab.

Full paper attached for Cyber-Neuro.

Prelim work but hopefully still ongoing as they noted weren't using our actual "hardware" just out simulation environment.
