Here's a link to a new podcast with Markus Shafer for our German speaking friends. Would be great to know if neuromorphic computing is mentioned at any point.

Hi @Bravo

Nothing new. Neuromorphic computing not mentioned.

BrainChip has progressed on the commercialisation leg of its business operations. Couple this with BrainChip’s differentiated IP product, and we see that the firm is delivering a proven and exponential improvement on anything else available in the market. The next few months in the remainder of this year focuses primarily on commercialisation deals – all of which will be a catalyst for the share price. BrainChip has a very healthy cash balance that should take it through operations for the next couple of years. At retracted price levels, BRN shares are trading in a range around their intrinsic value. We upgrade our recommendation to a ‘Buy’.

Note: This is NOT an IPO. This is an NYSE-American uplisting from the OTCQB, where the stock trades under the symbol “KNWN” and its last reported sale price on Aug. 31, 2022, was $2.05. The assumed price for the public offering/NYSE-American uplisting is $2.00 per share.)

Know Labs is focused on the development and commercialization of proprietary biosensor technologies which, when paired with our artificial intelligence, or AI, deep learning platform, are capable of uniquely identifying and measuring almost any material or analyte using electromagnetic energy to detect, record, identify and measure the unique “signature” of said materials or analytes. We call these our “Bio-RFID™” technology platform when pertaining to radio and microwave spectroscopy, and “ChromaID” technology platform when pertaining to optical spectroscopy. The data obtained with our biosensor technology is analyzed with our trade secret algorithms which are driven by our AI deep learning platform. There are a significant number of analytes in the human body that relate to health and wellness. Our focus is upon those analytes relating to human health, the identification of which provide diagnostic information and require, by their nature, clearance by the United States Food and Drug Administration. (Incorporated in Nevada)

The first applications of our Bio-RFID technology will be in a product marketed as a non-invasive glucose monitor. It will provide the user with real time information on their blood glucose levels. This product will require U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, clearance prior to its introduction to the market, which we plan to pursue. The addressable market for a non-invasive blood glucose monitor is very large and includes, globally, not only the approximately 450 million individuals suffering from diabetes, but the more than one billion individuals with pre-diabetes.

We are currently undertaking internal development work on potential products for the commercial marketplace. We have announced the development of our non-invasive glucose monitor and our desire to obtain FDA clearance for the marketing of this product. We have also announced the engagement of a manufacturing partner we will work with to bring this product to market. We will make further announcements regarding our products as development, testing, manufacturing, and regulatory approval work progresses.

Hypothetical question. If another huge industry player announces they are incorporating Akida into their product and we have another run to $2.31, are you holding strong or taking some profit off the table?

Fat is the best part of meat, it is where all the vitamins are and it adds so much flavour. One could say it is the "sly" part of the "meat". Why cut it off?

The theory that animal fat makes people fat or contributes to heart attacks has been debunked completely.

Animal fat, along with eggs, have long been taken off the naughty list.
We shall call you 'Fatmeat' from now on 😉

Hi @alwaysgreen
Are you ask hypothetically or because you have been naughty and do not yet have your own plan based on your own personal and financial circumstances.

I’m off to see what the global GPU market is worth.

GPU market size worldwide 2020-2028

Published by
Thomas Alsop,

In 2020, the global graphics processing unit (GPU) market was valued at 25.41 billion U.S. dollars, with forecasts suggesting that by 2028 this is likely to rise to 246.51 billion U.S. dollars, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 32.82 percent from 2021 to 2028

Very interesting some might opine there has never been a single technology with the potential of AKIDA.

Not responding to you directly just wanted to add my 2 cents to this dieting thread.

If you want to lose weight, never, ever cut our things like fat or carbs unless it is explicitly for *health reasons*. You will 1, be without energy and 2 relapse within a week. Seriously, just go into a calorie deficit after figuring out how many calories you eat a day, base calories - 200.

Also losing weight is not the main idea here, if you are lifting weights your weight might increase and you will be like WTF, look at your body proportions and check in monthly to see results, weight can fluctuate a few kilos a day depending on what you eat and drink.

TLDR: every diet is bullshit unless for health reasons all you need is to lower calories to lose weight

So that’s kind of the plan that we have, to evolve that into that landscape,” he said. “At the very low end, we have added an ARM M33 MCU and spiking neural network with BrainChip core licensed for selected applications – we have licensed what we need to license from BrainChip including the software to get the ball rolling.”

That's it. I'm looking for a smart scale with akida built in.

I'd be interested to know what is baked into that projection, and wondering when the effect of more efficient architectures might kick in (on a projected basis). Maybe that's far too speculative of a thing to put into a research report... although I guess, so too is a 7 year projected CAGR for any vertical

Hi equanimous,

8 September 2022
".@NASA has tapped @SiFive (and @MicrochipTech) to create a space-centric RISC-V processor: the High-Performance Spaceflight Computing chip. At heart of the HPSC will be SiFive's X280 64-bit RISC-V cores, which include ML acceleration capabilities."

SiFive does have its own ML, but it is software-based:

https://www.sifive.com/cores/intelligence
SiFive Intelligence is an integrated software + hardware solution that addresses energy efficient inference applications. It starts with SiFive’s industry-leading RISC-V Core IP, adds RISC-V Vector (RVV) support, and then goes a step further with the inclusion of software tools and new SiFive Intelligence Extensions, vector operations specifically tuned for the acceleration of machine learning operations. These new instructions, integrated with a multi-core capable, Linux-capable, dual-issue microarchitecture, with up to 512b wide vectors, and bundled with TensorFlow Lite support, are well-suited for high-performance, low-power inference applications.

We've been friends with SiFive in public since April, so that's 5 months plus the clandestine (NDA) period which would add several months.

https://brainchip.com/brainchip-sifive-partner-deploy-ai-ml-at-edge/
Laguna Hills, Calif. – April 5, 2022 BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, ADR: BCHPY), the world’s first commercial producer of ultra-low power neuromorphic AI chips and IP, and SiFive, Inc., the founder and leader of RISC-V computing, have combined their respective technologies to offer chip designers optimized AI/ML compute at the edge.

Hardware ML would be an optimization compared to software ML.

We are not listed among Microchip's AI/ML partners, but one of our friends is:

So. given we have known SiFive for more than 6 months, and given we are friends with Edge Impulse, and given the objective our partnership with SiFive of producing optimized AI/ML, and given NASA's penchant for energy efficiency and autonomous operation, you'd have to think that we have a reasonable chance of being involved.
