I don't want to go too far out on a limb but is it possible that Mr Ludovic Rota is mixing up a few things that the others are willing to jump on?

Did I miss something or did Mercedes actually announce that they will use Akida for tasting and smelling as well as "Hey Mercedes"?! Does he believe everything without questioning or asking in this case the thoughts of Sally Ward-Foxton and proclaim it to the world? If she believes it I believe it too. Herd instinct.
Instead of quoting he should claim that MB will use Akida to detect carbon monoxide in EVs to support his credibility.
Please correct me if I have overlooked or misunderstood something.

I think I got it. He's worried that the car won't start if he drinks too much cheap booze and Akida discovers it.
It won't start for anyone wearing a turtle neck. Period. It will simply display a range of alternatives and where you can locate them.

At $150 a share the market cap would have to be significantly higher than BHP
255 billion seems like a stretch 🤔
I would not complain if it was means $ 41 M my portfolio
Yeah might be a bit of a stretch in only 5 years and hard to imagine right now. $15 to $20 is a reasonable expectation though and I'd be ecstatic with that - too conservative perhaps? What happens when AKIDA 2000 is released, surely management won't be able to keep a lid on that.....nor will the shorts.

think we need to be realistic and get past the $2.50 mark first.

I tried and gave up calculating how high the price and when, it's impossible.

Any number suggested in this forum is plausible and probably conservative.
We can guestimate Akida penetratation into existing markets where edge AI is easily adaptable. We'll however need the wildest imagination and a few crystal balls to calculate royalties from new markets/ industries that don't currently exist.

Would I be surprised if BRN achieved billions in revenue within 5yrs, no!
Would I be happy if BRN paid $1 franked dividends in 5yrs, yes!

yep Tesla $891 a share and 1 . something million shares. no dividends. they are currently doing a x3 split in a few days times that's the proposed one.
Us at $1aud , i reckon at a blink of an eye (slow blink if you like) we will be at $5 and i guess @alwaysgreen did you mention 2 weeks ago you were ready to retire? How does anywhere between $5 and $891 sound? 🤣
We will do share splits in the future too, which is better than dividends in my opinion.
If the Company is doing really well, the price soon marches up again! 😛

We're looking a few years out for that though..

I don't know whether he (Mr Ludovic Rota) has mixed things up @cosors but I think he definitely has helped to put an idea out there that should be "front and centre" IMO.

Whether he intended to or not, I beleive he just highlighted something that ONLY AKIDA CAN DO IMO (i.e tasting and smelling for air pollution or fuel quality).

I was just annoyed that he is creating a problem where there is none and that with us.
I can literally smell the mob. No, we don't want that kind of surveillance. What's it to my car if I'm not washed?! I am against such chips!

I know I'm exaggerating but so is he. He is questioning whether MB is working in the right direction and that is not even based on his own thoughts and it is taken out of context. This is also a bit about publicity and how this new technology can be integrated into all our lives and how people will accept it. This is a sensitive issue.

The EU Commission has a catalogue of proposals about AI laws that will be fleshed out next year. It says with regard to recognition and AI e.g.:
We recommend a general ban on "Social Scoring". This is so general that it has to be applied to EV or any assessment of facial expressions, if.
When people like him shout things populistically into the world this is what happens. I don't want to judge his extremely witty contribution.

I step back. Something like this just makes me angry. And he calls himself a product engineer... with a turtle neck

Let's play "trigger the stop/loss's" 1 DOLLAR NEXT STOP.....we are obviously 1/3 the way through the 3rd quarter, things that were
commented on recently by Sean, MUST be well underway by now.

I'm expecting some solid headway to be achieved during the next 5 month burst, I can't speak for anyone else on this site, but I always
do a end of year review, re-evaluate my position, judge what the company has or hasn't achieved, matched to what was predicted as
company goals...then either sit on my holding, add more if I can afford to, or worst case scenario, lighten off a touch.

The sharemarket is full of opportunities, focus on a particular sector, research it, understand it, learn about the individuals whom are potentially
going to be delivering on your investment, try hard not to get emotional (I find that the hardest discipline) as you all know about my 7 year
love affair with Brainchip 🥰.

The biggest lesson I have learnt over the years is, ALWAYS protect your capital, a mistake that I have made numerous times over my 24 year
market adventures, and any trader will tell you, you can't win all the time, accept it and move forward.

An announcement of some sort would be nice, just saying 🥸 Tech

I found it to be a cheap shot which are manifested from frustration. Then I asked myself why is a Product Marketer working on ADAS solutions having a cheap shot at a little aussie battler? Having trouble gaining traction are we? I could be reading too much into it.

Solid plan Tech. I recently sold 80% of my holding in another stock because of what the company hadn't achieved and wasn't going to achieve in the timeframes previously stated.

Personally I'll wait to see what happens in 2024 before thinking about lighten off a touch.

p.s. your disguise didn't work. We know it's you ;)

$891 would make me a billionaire 🤣🤣

I'll be happy with $10!
There you go, talking the share price down again!

This forum doesn't tolerate blatant down ramping! 😛

Not sure if this has been raised, but Amazon's "Ring" door bell has been used to supply footage to Police, without the owners permission...

Russel Brand's take on it is good, his Youtube channel is very informative, for non-mainstream journalism (what most call conspiracy theories, so feel free to ignore and listen to what you're fed 😛)

Renesas Electronics/Reality AI

AI - step by step to a full-service provider
01.08.22

Renesas Electronics announced the completion of the acquisition of Reality Analytics Inc. (Reality AI) effective July 19, 2022. dr Sailesh Chittipeddi, Executive VP and GM of the Renesas IIoT Group, explains the goals that Renesas is pursuing in the AI area in an interview with Markt & Technik.

Market & Technology: Renesas has acquired Reality AI, a specialist in embedded AI and TinyML solutions for advanced non-visual sensing in automotive, industrial and commercial products. What benefits do you expect from this?

Sailesh Chittipeddi: The acquisition allows us to offer a more comprehensive solution for industrial customers. Reality AI provides the inference models and the algorithms, we provide everything else, i.e. the libraries, additional tools and the workflow for integration into MCUs and MPUs.

Does that mean Renesas will integrate Reality AI's tools into its own tools?

Exactly. We want to offer our customers a completely transparent workflow in some markets where it makes sense. Of course it will take a while, but we are working on it.

Which product groups does Renesas want to support with the Reality AI Tools, only MCUs and MPUs?

Yes, primarily our MCU and our MPU families. Reality AI is focused on two segments today, but that's not to say that won't change in the future. But as of today: Reality AI is currently mainly specialized in industrial applications and also a little bit in automotive applications. Accordingly, in the next step we will implement the possibilities that Reality AI offers us precisely for the MCUs that were designed precisely for these applications. If Reality AI will also address other markets in the future, we can also offer inference tools for these applications.

What applications are you thinking of?

Today, for example, there are no approaches to image processing from Reality AI. But over time, they will certainly look at image-processing-based AI as well. There are many companies in this area that offer everything from chips to complete stacks specifically for this market. We will take a close look at where our strengths lie in the MCU and MPU area and also focus our AI activities on them. When that is decided, we will support our customers to port the AI models to our microcontrollers and microprocessors.
