If things are progressing, would we be looking to re-list in the US to make a buyout easier for them? Perhaps relisting is risky given the unknown volatility.
I know its been covered, so apologies in advance, but are the tax implications the same for the sale of a listed verse unlisted entity? For CGT purposes.

Referring to the "Org chart":-

Dathcom Mining is a DRC entity
Green Lithium Holdings resides in Singapore
AVZ International is an Australian company
AVZ Minerals is an unlisted Public Company in Australia.

In it's simplest form though, your current shares in AVZ Minerals are what you hold, so whatever the trickle effect of a takeover and/or re/listing it will be dealt with in AU CGT laws.

TC your buy into AVZ was 53 days before my self and just 1080 days ago we hit a high of $1.36 although some media record the high as $1.33

ps Just a thought not much else regarding Amo's post on hc re a deal having been done, I initially read it that way but then thought he may have meant/intended it to say a deal with the US only not yet AVZ. As i say I'm not sure just my thoughts.

Yeah same thing mate, it's just disposal of an investment asset - seeing as we've all been stuck for well beyond 12 months, 50% CGT discount on settlement if we come out the other side with a gain; or a loss that may be carried forward if we do not.

Yeah saw that M23 report, and noted the closing comment: DRCs critical minerals once seen as a blessing are turning into a curse.

So it was encouraging to hear that FT just had a surprise meeting with Kagame, despite their previous bad blood.

"The heads of state reaffirmed the commitment of all parties to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire" as agreed at an African summit last month, the statement said.

This meeting occurred within days of Felix meeting Trump's special advisor in Kinshasa. Things are definitely cooking.

I was under the impression that AVZ could still pay $20m to bail from the deal. If so, it will be small change when we reach the business end.
But what do I know ? - my head is spinning with all of this shit atm.

Worth noting that this report in the Aussie has somewhat changed since last night, though not noted as updated. And no journalist attribution suggests a rewrite of a press release.

The overall positive tone has been modified to reflect a more cautious response to the talks, as it pertains to Rwanda's viewpoint.

One passage which was deleted altogether reported the talks were not publicly disclosed until after Felix has flown out of Doha lol.

Also I don't recall the additional detail relating to Qatar. FWIW.

Does AVZ need a ML if it's to off load Roche Dure to the US ? If not I'm guessing the Cath deal is void .

Conditions precedent to the transaction completion (with Cath). Completion is subject to satisfaction or waiver of certain conditions precedent, including: - the Mining Licence being granted to Dathcom.

hey guys, just looking for some direction.... where the hell did we see or get proof of resource capital (aka carrot dick) increasing their shareholding after the unsolicited offers? I assumed it was annual report for 2024, but, wasn't in there... was there another top 20 floating around or something? perhaps i recall seeing it go up and then getting taken down....

actually just need it to help out with someone valuing their shares in avz for smsf audit purposes... they want to value them right down for beneficial purposes...
