Except Jan who managed to sell all his shares before the halt…..
Fair enough, just thought it was a bit much to say it was time to execute Nigel.Haha what? Nigel’s been good actually and put up with a lot of shit especially when in country. Him and Ben definitely have my respect I’ve heard a few things.
Rest of them can probably move on they’ve got plenty of shares and will be rewarded if we are
Here hereWTF have these new board members been up to since we voted them in I wonder?
Or any of the BOD for that matter...
Do they still have to disclose to us in some way? Those rare scraps that we sometimes get like a pack of filthy downtrodden beggars.
"operating as a listed entity gives rise to inherent complications for the Company as it seeks to advance its strategy for the resolution of the key disputes and the advancement of the development of the Manono Project."
"AVZ will continue to seek value realisation opportunities for shareholders, including through the resolution of the prevailing disputes and development of the Manono Project, admission to a recognised stock exchange and/or partial or complete disposal of one or more assets."
AgreedMy perspective is and this is only my opinion is that they have made the correct decision to de-list
USA was over the counter (OTC) so not technically a listed entity there but from memory the brokers were buying through Frankfurt. Not sure about Frankfurt itself. Could be different listing rules or may mirror ASX as the primary exchange.Have AVZ been delisted on the U.S and German exchanges also? not sure how this works....
Tough day we knew was coming....disappointing the Loche finance hasn't yet been finalised as this would have softened the blow.
Still plenty of positive comments out there so I will digest things tonight.
The biggest disappointment for me is the lack of national and international support plus the fact that the international court system is useless if there is no way of enforcing penalties.
Hold on AVZ investors as no doubt this fight has a long way to go!
Although the announcement begs the question that if the DRC are currently ignoring both ICSID and ICC rulings, then what's the expectation that this will change upon final award should we unfortunately need to get that far?Tommy,
Need I remind you that we still have the ICSID and ICC to play out - I am quietly confident.
Lets see how the shorters go - poor things it must be hurting.

Or… Death by a thousand cunts….Good to see that some posters here have survived with their sense of humours intact. Death by a thousand cunts IMO
Compensation made to AVZ through diverting billions of dollars of World Bank funds earmarked for DRC? Dream on. We could however hope for pressure to be placed on DRC by the World Bank to come to terms. The ICC and ICSD work closely with the World Bank and other organisations whom give billions of dollars worth of aid to the DRC each year. Should it be needed we can get compensation from that. But I don’t think that is the goal. Instead using ICC and ICSD to motivate the DRC to do what they are bound to do by DRC LAW! Instead of ridding them of the aid that the people of the DRC so direly needs.
