Why would they delay proceedings if they had the arbitrator on their payroll. They would just jam through a quick hearing like a back alley DRC court. Zijin's constant games do not indicate confidence imo

Question for you......I would ask Cong and dathomir this question themselves, but, to be honest, i think you know more about dathomir's actions and motives than dathomir do....

In dathomir v avz why do you think dathomir asked for the orders to be confidential? I mean, cominiere and ziljin have been corrupt in their dealings and neither of these two asked for confidentiality. But, dathomir did (and failed).... what am I missing? Other than access to some wealth...

I mean dathomir were just a sandwich short of a picnic in these dealings, not corrupt (that I know of).... just something seems odd to me....

Cong is such a fucking cooker who knows what he is thinking. Bizarrely it was only one of the two separate proceedings that he applied for to be kept confidential. Maybe the other one is still to come or he won't bother after losing the first request.

My best guess as to why Cong wanted the proceedings kept confidential and AVZ plus the ICC don't is because Cong doesn't have a chance of winning and everyone is going to laugh at how stupid he is

I was also trying to find any examples of jurisdictional challenges to establish a timeframe.

The favourable ruling in the emergency arbitration proceedings against Cominiere was announced Monday May 8th 2023. The ruling was on Friday May 5th and obviously with the time difference from Paris this was after market close. I'm unsure of when the hearings were and how soon after the order was given. Also this was a quicker proceeding due to it being an emergency having only begun in April.

The arbitrator in the Zijin case indicated he wanted a 'tight' procedural calendar with a hearing no later than early October. Can't imagine we will need to wait too long to get a ruling. And I'm sure we will get an official announcement pretty fucking quickly after the decision on this jurisdictional challenge as it is the key matter in this entire shitshow.
