Hi Nbaz, the company id imagine is totally fine with it ; disclosing information was benefiting the distractions more than it was our negotiating. Tommy FT is probably deserves a bit of a thank you too! He seemed to have been able to dig some pretty confidential legal docs etc which showed that distractors were digging. ASX were apparently were getting all sorts of requests for information / suggesting ‘sesrch here’, ‘look at this’ in an attempt to try and force them to make AVZ open up and trade again.

Being able to tint those windows of the negotiations rooms, as they felt that they comply with 3.1 / disclosure seemed to put them on the backfoot every now and again, after they had thought they had taken a few steps forward...personally I'm happy with the move.

ASX also seemed happy enough with their responses to the questions and put them into actually suspension using the answer to question 9 where AVZ stated that they couldn't conform to 3.1 as it was effectively causing issues, basically gave AVZ what they needed. Omni bridgeway if they had anyone on board would have preferred if as had of batted back some of those responses...but that didn't seem to happen and AVZ can be somewhat relieved that their announcements aren't twisted etc by distractors and repeated elsewhere to other parties with apparent triple meanings
Ummmm Hoots and the trolls over at Crapper would word it different mate but a BIG FUCK THEM on my behalf…

Tommy is a fucking moron

AVZ have never owned, or claimed to own, the 15% from Cominiere

Only 15% of the 75% that AVZ legally owns is 'under dispute'. And that's the 15% from Dathomir.

How does this dickhead still have a job. He can't even do simple arithmetic yet is employed by a financial news organisation. Unbelievable.

Maybe Minister of Mines is more on AVZ side than I previously thought. I am tired and don't have time to go through and analyse everything he said

It sounds like he said avz has had a meeting with the head of state and said the journalist was full of shit. So minister of mines filled a complaint against him and he was arrested. He also said something about a signature yesterday revoking avz contract. Translation isn’t great, but I think that’s what he said. I only had time to watch the first half.

Just watched the rest. He is definitely defending himself and trying to gain public support. Does a fair bit of apologizing as well. Need to watch that a couple times over later today to get everything out of it.

he talked about the meeting with the president last year. And he talking a lot of bullshit.
But that one thing with the contract revoking need to be translated rightly.

Because when I use the wordings in the subtitle and put them in a translater and try to puzzle the words in the right sentences this comes out:

"because cominiere finally decided on a formal termination yesterday, it was three months before, and after this formal termination the contract was simply revoked."

That would mean cominiere canceled the contract 2 days ago? Is that possible?

Would be crazy, but I believe cominiere would try everything. These bunch of assholes can only lie and nothing more.

Need a better translation.
He is full of shit and he is vary vague. He apologizes yet is proud of the work he has done. Other than trying to garner support from his followers, I don’t know what the point of this is. I don’t believe anything he says. Whatever he is in trouble for it has something to do with avz and cominier.

Prove me wrong someone smarter than I, but surely there is material fact in Tommy’s takedown, surely the failure to inform shareholders about these ownership disputes when they happened is not only illegal according to ASX but arrogant on behalf of management. These attempts are not spirrilus media claims but in fact considered attempts to purchase our resource in a very real way that have now been taken to ICC by those making said claims. Management off to play golf with mates.

AFR: ASX suspends AVZ for non-compliance with listing rules

Here (below) is the URL in order side-step Nine Entertainment's paywall and read the entire article. It doesn't look much, but it works.
Of course, it's authored by Tommy Swallows and Zijin Mining so you may prefer to skip it and not waste 5min of you life reading it.

Cheers

Tommy the twat had been biased against AVZ from day dot. You think his articles are in any way, shape or form unbiased and well researched pieces?
The ASX has been all over AVZ for the last few years, I’d say one of the most scrutinized companies on ASX. They have been ok with it.
I’ve been critical of AVZ management but fair suck of the sav forming an opinion from these bullshit biased articles from AFR is just plain stupid imo.

Im a bit like you RHyN …we have no leadership .Nigel at AGM stated he could do better with his communication (or lack of it) with SH’s & 5 months down track SFA .I feel they are worried about SH litigation further down the track if this turns into a pile of shit …hard to be confident with our anniversary only a matter of 3 weeks away …what type of BoD be such Kunts & put SH’s through this …..any T/O should be forwarded to SH’s for review

The AFR article says that AVZ and Zijin are set for ICC consideration in Paris on April 23 over Zijin's 15 per cent stake in Dathmor that it purchased from Cominiere. The article also says that AVZ is applying to have the dispute thrown out on the basis the ICC has no jurisdiction to investigate the dispute.

I hope the board has a fall-back strategy because if the ICC determines that it has jurisdiction to hear the dispute, then the matter will proceed regardless of AVZ's view.

There is no place for moral high ground or hubris in this existential fight.

Cheers
F

Looking forward to the 52 week mark, this experience has been an incredible and stressful learning experience for a young pup such as myself and will help weed out potential issues with investing for the next 30+ years of my life

Our BOD is going to get the ML for us and we're going to go mining.

I'm trusting in nige and the bod to close the deal to see us move forward. I know we are all hurting in different ways in dealing with this situation but the negativity directed to mgmt isnt going to bring the ml home and is only good for our detractors. its clear that the DRC is a difficult operating environment with corruption running deep, not sure anyone else would have us in a better position. I'm supporting mgmt.

I've written off my investment... much easier mentally to do that.

Apart from that I do remain optimistic.
I believe AVZ is working with the Australian Embassy and other government agency's towards a resolution.
I believe the DRC is working with the UN anti corruption agency.
I believe we are in a battle with china for the worlds largest un-mined lithium resource. I never expected us to go to mine without a battle. We are in a dirty world of corporate battles.
I believe that the ICC will find in our favor.
I hope that our current suspension is due to us not wanting to divulge sensitive information to the market.
I believe that what we are seeing is a seismic shift in how business used to be done in the DRC towards how they want to do business.
I still believe that the world is watching and if the DRC want investment from the west, they will clean up this mess.
I hope that this will be the first major step for lasting change in the DRC that brings the people a brighter future.

Trusting in Nige who’s being doing business in the DRC for decades & didnt see this coming …oblivious to greed/corruption seeming with no contingency plan for a left field attack …clueless but highly paid so not completely stupid….will be back tomorrow to celebrate 49 weeks but therapy awaits …maybe we can send an invitation to BoD to celebrate online the big 50 with us :)

Probably bugger all. As said, they've done us a favour. The ASX needs to ensure everything is above board so investors don't get ripped off. They aren't letting this play out again until everyone knows what the hell is going on. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out the BOD purposely played it this way to get the ASX to suspend. Makes things easier for them and lets then get on with dealing with the circus in DRC rather than copy pasting the suspension extension request.
