No new date yet. Mats Taaveniku has asked for and received an extension from 16 May to 16 June. From then on, there will be three weeks of public access and time to comment. Decision in September/October at the earliest. Then the time for objections.
This was too much of a delay for the government and they took it on themselves. So I assume that the government won't be fooled and will get the matter through before these dates. Since the government is the highest authority, there's no appeal in the first round and the plan is legally in force. Someone could try to go to the Supreme Court for procedural matters, but will fail.
The matter was until now in the hands of those who want to prevent climate protection for their own interests of ego NIMBY rights. No chance for further delays.
I don't know the final date, but it will certainly be before the date of. Kiruna's, otherwise the government would make a fool of itself with this action.

As far as I know, it is almost unique for a company to have all the approvals but no detailed plan. This is normally further up the list.
Kiruna has overstepped the mark and done Sweden a disservice in the sense of all (antis).
