I am gob smacked. How do you sell out of the raspberry Pi boards at around $4,000 AUS a pop and only take in $200,000 US. Even if that was the only source of cash inflow it would mean that you only sold 69 and you sold out!! Ok, need to calm down. SP is headed way way down. Bottom draw she goes. It really is a very small tip of the iceberg.

I know it hurts to see this 4C, but I was not expecting any more than this for this one. Fortunately for me I am very long on BRN, this only gives me opportunities to increase my holding at lower cost. Hopefully there will be an announcement this week to offset any damage to the share price. The next one will still be border line, the October 4c will be the one to watch. Management have always said late half of the year.

I did tell everyone not to place eggs in the income basket not because I am wise or have inside knowledge but because that is what the company has been saying.
I also said that the 4C will confirm that Brainchip is a going concern with the US dollars converted to AUD is $AU42,000,000 approximately cash in the bank predicted to last at least for the next 6 quarters. I thought it might be about $AU35 million but was out by $AU7 million odd.
As the funds received by way of earnings must largely have been taken up with sales of modules etc; the large part of the MegaChips $US2 million dollars in 2022 must still be outstanding. So you can add this $US2,000,000 or $AU2,800,000 to take the known cash to almost $AU45,000,000. Unless you think despite the fact that MegaChips is out there actively selling Brainchip and AKIDA to its customers that it plans to default on paying these monies.

I agree I think the SP will take a hit tomorrow. Comparatively the numbers are disappointing coming off the growth we enjoyed in the last quarterly.
As you say this will test some holders. Some may jump out or reduce their position, while others may very well see it as a buying opportunity and grab some more. At the end of the day each holder has their own plan and own time lines. Each of us individually only have to satisfy ourselves and our loved ones as to the decisions we make.
But has anything changed? are our prospects less likely than what they were this morning? and did we really expect large revenue this quarter? for me the answer to all of these questions is a solid NO. I am happy to continue to hold. Has this 4C changed my belief in where we will be at the end of this year and end of 2023, 2024... changed? Absolutely not. With the exception of a disappointing revenue number the Quarterly is otherwise strong in my opinion. We continue to push forward into new markets, our appointments of quality personnel continue to grow and our cash position is strong. I don't think we should overlook this.
While I would love revenue sooner rather than later I am happy to be patient. As I believe in the months and years to come the question will not so much be should I continue "hang in" but will be more along the lines of when do I take a little off the table for fear of selling out to early as the SP continues to climb. We are still only at the start of this game with a product that is years ahead in a technology space that is still being defined.

Brainchip is working on a receipts basis with these board sales and taking credit card payments on some. They will not receipt some of the sales for 60 days from point of sale and if they are selling to large academic institutions and corporations most likely a different sales system will apply and 90 days is the norm.
My opinion only but that is why if you play your cards right with using a credit card you can get a significant interest free period before you have to pay your credit card balance off. Real world economics is something we all ignore every time we use our credit card to buy something close to the issue date of the next statement.

Can someone email the company and find out why the revenue was so low. I get it, we in early stages but a significant dip like that will hammer our shares prices

Thanks FF, this helps a lot. Really wish for the sake of shareholders that the company could relay that. Perhaps they have and I missed it. Unfortunately the market won't know it. I had hoped for a cash receipts somewhere around $1.2M. Perhaps that still applies but will show up in the next quarter.

I hate to say it but here was a previous 90 day cycle too.
I am not being pessimistic, but as you say there are always different terms of payment. The second tranche from Megachips logically was not going to happen till next quarter.

I am not bothered. Short term pain for long term gain. I liked how they have lots of patents that are outstanding in many parts of the world.
Remember we are just beginning our commercialisation stage. Last quarter we just hired a top marketing executive to help us gain those partnerships and we have just started implementing Akida1000.
Tomorrow will bring one of two things. Either a good buying opportunity or a surprise announcement before open. We have known to be eccentric in the way we have released news previously via the ASX.
