Good Morning Chippers,

Just thought I would bring it to every ones attention....

Commsec trading platform

On the Sell side,

Someone is prepared to sell 1,400 units @ $916.28 each.

I Like their enthusiasm.

Regards,
Esq.
Wow, I'd be happy to sell a portion of my holding at that price.

My trading platforms don't let me set an order that far away from the execution price.

I wonder how this one found its way into the system. Surely they just forgot to start with a decimal place! But if someone blindly does a Buy at Market that consumes all available shares up for sale - like wow!

Totally equal market....not.

Only certain players get that privilege and it ain't retail

All in the name of creating "liquidity"

Personally....naff off auctions used to paint the tape / charts, when opens it opens and closes it closes and make min parcel sizes same for all mkt participants.

We are going to be punished tomorrow. Outflows up and receipts down to just $200k.

Market isn't going to like this.

These next few 4cs are going to test our resolve until the serious revenue starts to flow through next year and 2024.

Not what i was expecting from the 4c. Don't think tomorrow will be very nice for us.

Receipts from customers for the quarter were US$0.2M, a decrease of 81% from US$1.1M in Q4-21.

On the bonus side gives me a chance to buy more cheep shares

Regardless of what Management have been saying / indicating when revenue should see an uptick (later in the year?)...the question is there as to where the runoff occurred last qtr from previous?

Looks like bottom drawer for awhile unless we get a follow up Ann shortly with some exceptional news.

Hmm i see more cash reserves, spend is increasing as expected due to commercialisation and more head count and we have yet to recognise the IP license fees so they will be paid in the next couple of quarters.

Would be nice to have seen a mill or so but really this is as per plan. They said to look at the revenue in the back of the year.

Yes a bit of a shock, so I know the CEO has said that selling the development kits from the brainchip website is not what they are focusing on.... But the raspberry pi boards are sold out and cost $5000 each.
So how many did they have in stock to start...... 40 sold equals 200000.
I thought they were trying to get these products out to all the academics and universities around the world (company stated).

The CEO said numbers were in the hundreds. Must have pitiful margin.

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Fire up your type-writer @Dhm, you may have to send an email to another author. The author says "only a few experimental chips such as SpiNNaker 1 and SpiNNaker 2, a 10 million core processor platform optimized for the simulation of spiking neural networks, exist."

This good part is that author also suggests "the future killer application for neuromorphic may not be in exascale systems but more in low-power oriented edge compute". "Killer" in this context is very good (as in "awesome"), not very bad (as in "murder").

He-he-he!

Extract

5. Neuromorphic Processors
. It is possible to design artificial spiking neural networks or more generally, electronic components, in a manner that takes inspiration from the architecture of the human brain. Carver Mead first theorized about neuromorphic processors in the 80s. But still today, only a few experimental chips such as SpiNNaker 1 and SpiNNaker 2, a 10 million core processor platform optimized for the simulation of spiking neural networks, exist.

Neuromorphic computing seems very promising, but continues to require breakthroughs in model training, ML dev ops tools, and other technologies. We also need hardware that fits different use cases: wafer size chipset will not work for low-power oriented applications. Although neuromorphic research has mostly been targeted at exascale systems, it may make sense to concentrate as much energy on applications like ultra-low power keyword spotting, event detection for autonomous vehicle, or other data streaming processing use cases. Progress could come more quickly, and breakthrough concepts could be scaled up. The future killer application for neuromorphic may not be in exascale systems but more in low-power oriented edge compute.

BRN still has over 6 quarters of running costs in the bank and that's after aggressively ramping up sales and marketing activities the past qtr.
While I would have liked higher revenue for the qtr, I'm not disappointed but rather expected this 4c to read the way it did. BRN's activity from the last qtr will yield results in the next qtr.
The current share price would have factored low revenue in the 4c.
I'm hopeful tomorrow will be green.
