It's receipts from customers!!!! , not profit after expenses from selling the product. The CEO said numbers were in the hundreds. Must have pitiful margin.
So they had what 10, 20 in inventory..
Pretty ordinary

I know it hurts to see this 4C, but I was not expecting any more than this for this one. Fortunately for me I am very long on BRN, this only gives me opportunities to increase my holding at lower cost. Hopefully there will be an announcement this week to offset any damage to the share price. The next one will still be border line, the October 4c will be the one to watch. Management have always said late half of the year.I don’t think I am going to look at the share price tomorrow it will too ugly!!
I agree I think the SP will take a hit tomorrow. Comparatively the numbers are disappointing coming off the growth we enjoyed in the last quarterly. We are going to be punished tomorrow. Outflows up and receipts down to just $200k.
Market isn't going to like this.
These next few 4cs are going to test our resolve until the serious revenue starts to flow through next year and 2024.
Brainchip is working on a receipts basis with these board sales and taking credit card payments on some. They will not receipt some of the sales for 60 days from point of sale and if they are selling to large academic institutions and corporations most likely a different sales system will apply and 90 days is the norm.I am gob smacked. How do you sell out of the raspberry Pi boards at around $4,000 AUS a pop and only take in $200,000 US. Even if that was the only source of cash inflow it would mean that you only sold 69 and you sold out!! Ok, need to calm down. SP is headed way way down. Bottom draw she goes. It really is a very small tip of the iceberg.
Or... you could buy 36 sharesThey must be giving the boards away for free, and engineers must be supporting customers for free. That's the only way I can see how the cash receipts can be so low. Seriously? I am going out to buy a dozen bottles of Pantene.
Even the engineering fees will be on a 90 day payment cycle. They must be giving the boards away for free, and engineers must be supporting customers for free. That's the only way I can see how the cash receipts can be so low. Seriously? I am going out to buy a dozen bottles of Pantene.
Thanks FF, this helps a lot. Really wish for the sake of shareholders that the company could relay that. Perhaps they have and I missed it. Unfortunately the market won't know it. I had hoped for a cash receipts somewhere around $1.2M. Perhaps that still applies but will show up in the next quarter.Brainchip is working on a receipts basis with these board sales and taking credit card payments on some. My opinion only but that is why if you play your cards right with using a credit card you can get a significant interest free period before you have to pay your credit card balance off. Real world economics is something we all ignore every time we use our credit card to buy something close to the issue date of the next statement.

Very Disappointing going backwards. They must be giving the boards away for free, and engineers must be supporting customers for free. That's the only way I can see how the cash receipts can be so low. Seriously? I am going out to buy a dozen bottles of Pantene.
Big year for this company, disapointing thus far, Tony did answer my email over Easter and mentioned some news will be out soonBrainchip is working on a receipts basis with these board sales and taking credit card payments on some.
