Good part about an intern for us searching the world far and wide for some insight; they say more than they should even after signing NDAs, not the first one to do this from brainchip. Either way, if only partly true with some added sauce I am happy.

They are a Romanian company incorporated as Proto Lab Sri, and this explains the mystery of the Romanian fan from a month or so ago.

The other thing is the potential project collaboration with Mercedes reference, given that the intern period was from June (Juni) 2023 to August 2023.

so did a search and found this very similar product from Dreame which certainly fits our MO

and in the company spiel they are connected with this little company called Xiaomi. who does have a previous connection to Renesas.

It could be just a stock photo, could be nothing could be something, time will tell I suppose.

I went to Dream’s website and if you go to the frequently asked questions there are a number of questions about connectivity failure and answers about resetting modems to ensure proper cloud connectivity and making sure to download updates frequently.

Not to say this definitely rules out AKIDA because Dream uses LiDar to map and avoid objects but it could be that as connectivity is a customer complaint they are looking at a way to run unconnected.

Some complaints/questions are about why the battery life when cleaning is so short.
