Hmm I don't think he is here anymore.
I have had a disagreement with him too but someone whom we shall not name but throws bin juice at every poster did his magic, so we lost a contributor who actually does some research.

I just checked his last couple of posts and clearly see what transpired.

Afaik Luminar will be in production cars up from 2025. 2023/2024 productions are still equipped with Valeo, probably Scala 2.

Just over a year after initially announcing a partnership with lidar manufacturer Luminar, Mercedes-Benz plans a major expansion of that relationship which includes multiple production programs.

A US Drive Pilot test report said that it uses "sophisticated" lidar coupled with millimeter GPS, so I'm plumping for SCALA 3.

But this place has become hive for the wen moon wen revenue types who don't like partnerships(because wen revenue) or even employee growth.

Basically any sign of positivity at all is frowned upon.
