It's quite clear why he keeps writing about Brainchip.
He has also compared akida with the jetson chip in the past which in my opinion was quite laughable .
I'm sure Dodgy knees has already compared these two pieces of Tech . Sharemans views are completly biased and without factul correctness.

I don't read the Motley Fool's articles but I did read one on BRN last week and I was shocked at the lack of objectivity. This was not financial journalism, it was derisory in its tone and an attempt to damage the company. They definitely have an agenda in my opinion.

It is articles like this that cast the seed of doubt in my psyche. If someone has a bit of time and knowledge and would like to cheer me up, could they construct a short rebuttal to that fool? I will love you forever.

This article as usual has obviously been posted with an agenda. Just like how Putin is telling his people Russia is the Victim here; I would think the country doing the bombing, slaughter and rape of civilians is the aggressor!

It’s not even who you want to believe.,,, the information is all out there. After doing my research it’s blatantly obvious this article is biased however just to be sure I’d better send a copy to Mercedes Benz and Valeo in case their highly qualified staff have all got it wrong.

And I better chase up the ISL professor, ex DARPA Director with 30 years experience as a radar and EW specialist who was talking about how good Brainchip is on LinkedIn…. He can pass the info onto NASA that the product is rubbish and their last 2 years have been wasted!

We’d better give Renesas and Megachips their money back as well if the products a dud! Especially Megachips; they’ve recently spent $20M in America to set up there to sell AI to the American market.

It’s probably a bit late for Renesas now as they have already begun making their SOC to sell in the millions each quarter; they’ll find out it’s a dud soon enough I suppose.

The easiest way to hear from Independent companies (Intel Foundry Service, SiFive, AI Labs, Renesas) is to read the information that came out with the Gen 2 release. It’s readily available on Brainchip’s website.

TATA‘s research paper compared Brainchip with competitors with favourable results; I can’t see every company globally choosing a $30,000 product over a $50 product which is smaller and uses less power so I‘m confident Brainchip will find a market.


I’d better write and thank the MF for their in depth research as they’ve saved me a quid. Next I better pay them money to find out what their other researched solutions are; I’m sure for a fee they’ll give me 5 better investments.

Do dreams count? had a very vivid dream that we were powering the next arcade game thingy where the player had a plastic gun thing and was shooting at pigs and other flying/pop up things in a field where the pigs would pop up but because ir was powered by akida it would immediately square on target identifying the pig and all u had to do was shoot straight. and on the screen was a Disney pixar symbol. and the best part was it was the quarter page colour ad feature on the left side of a page in this Sundays paper . my only thoughts were should be on the right side of parrier as right side attracts the most attention I better grab a paper i guess to check it for real Bring on Monday $$

It has come to my attention that some people may interpret the above post as drawing a connexion between financial journalists and bum-breathing turtles.

I aplolgize for any offence to bum-breathing turtles everywhere.

For that article t o surface means 2 things to me.

BRN is a real threat as a market disruptor and the BS shorters realize.

MF is short and trying to cover.

It is true that failure in startups is high and they may have guessed on the wrong side this time.

BRN is showing world class promise globaly with quite a few highly positive posts from companies working with them.

The more I dig into this technology the better my understanding is. If this write up comparing a 30000 $ gpu to 50 $ Akida usb is valid then yeah it's pretty good I'd say.

I was quietly hoping Anil would be attending this years AGM, but he's confirmed to me that he can't this year, but maybe next year,
so fingers crossed, as I'm sure we here in Australia would give him and Peter a brilliant reception, seeing them together would be a
truly special moment for all true believers in our growing company.

Trust our leaders when they say, we are looking forward to an exciting year ahead, they know, not us !!!

Yeah, I really hope they (the board and co) take this first strike seriously.

There is alot of peoples money tied up in this stock. I work incredibly hard as a doctor. If I mess up, there are real consequences to pay. I don't then ask for a bonus!

I get there are challenges for the company, but their job is literally to deliver results... to the owners of the company, which is us. And as they said in the last agm, that would be evident in the financials. Everything else is hidden with NDAs.

I believe in the product. I understand the human brain, neurons and the efficiency they deliver for sensing and interpreting our environment. So when I came across this company several years ago, it made sense to take inspiration from nature, to develop more efficient processing of data in spikes... or action potentials as we call it.

It will be a radical transformation of the entire ecosystem of data processing and one that has to take place for humans to continue evolving our technologies.

The example I always come back to, is driving. When we drive, we concentrate on the road, we notice important events like other cars merging or stop signs. Our vision can take in a whole scene, like trees, rubbish on the ground or shop front, but what it needs to know is events that matter to driving safely. So your brain processes this information with spikes. If an event is important such as a pedestrian stepping out in front of you, your brain will pay attention and rightly ignore almost all other information, it deems unimportant. That's what makes the brain and our sensing capabilities very efficient. To know what is important information and what is junk.

Von neumans computing due to its nature, has to take all information it encouters and process it, even the junk information. Which just pushes electrons around for no reason, causing heat and using excess energy.

We've reach an upper limit of processing speeds and heat distribution. Computers are no longer getting more and more powerful as per Moore's law, which once applied.

So something has to change and I believe we have the right idea. AKIDA 1000 might not have been the right fit, but we've learnt and adapted. With new products coming online soon.

But for this company to continue growing, the shareholders need to know that the new products work. We need our company execs to show us it works and it has practical, real world applications and will be sold in significant numbers.

Show us that, show us it working, a fancy presentation to us. Don't hide behind NDAs, that's just lazy. They need to restore shareholder confidence.

Just my opinion... still hoping for the best... but some changes need to happen.

Their job is to build a strong commercial enterprise and increased shareholder value will be a consequence of that strength. They can only do that by doing what they are currently doing - that is continue to improve the technology, continue to increase BrainChips partnerships and broaden the echo system and to seek to convert partners into customers as well as partners customers. It’s pretty naive and a little bit of grandstanding on your part I think to say that they are being lazy about it. What would you actually know about how hard they have been working? We are all (including BRN management) disappointed about how slowly adoption is taking but imo taking shots at management for this does not achieve any more than to lower the moral of all of us. AIMO.

The 8,000,000 RSU's issued to Manny have a value currently of around $2,250,000 USD, I believe the US Tax obligation is
approximately 831,000 USD...this calculation isn't perfect, but it's in the ballpark.

I thought Antonio's explanation of how the performance shares play out over a 3 year period, metrics and percentages was
excellent, I learnt something there myself, meaning if the figure published was for 6,000,000 RSU's doesn't mean that, that figure
will actually be the final issue to the staff member concerned.

His tax obligation would equate to 1,932,558 BRN shares @43c.
But perhaps he will be able to pay that debt from some other reserves??
I hope he's thinking that this thing is about to take off and I think I'll hang on for the ride.

The question I'm asking myself and trying to look into is whether the tax implications are the same for the original structure and this new "settlement / agreement" shall we say?

Trying to understand that, if there has been a side agreement / settlement between to the 2 parties, then does the tax implications change or get calculated diff?

Would obviously have a bearing on Mannys flexibility in dealing with the shares.
