Well, I don't want to get you too excited @Labsy because there's an extremely high chance that I may be reading WAAAAAAAYYYYYY too much into this and it could all just be rather coincidental and completely nonsensical, irrelevant and just downright wrong, and I'm not suggesting there is any link to us in any way shape or form and I don't want to get in trouble with @uiux, but...

I got a return call today, from the ASX, as promised, regarding why we haven't been appearing in the ASX200 Top 5 Gainers/Losers.

They said the issue has been escalated and they will be getting back to me, on how things are going, over the next day or two.

So looking good for a resolution so far 👍
For anyone wondering why this is even important, Tony Dawe didn't seem to think it was, it is just further exposure for our Company.

Seeing us in the Top 5 gainers, will attract more interest and investors in BRN, yes more traders too, but it's all part of the mix.

Hopefully some strong hands and new shareholders amongst them.

Even a large drop and appearing in the Top 5 Losers, can have its benefits, as some will see it as a buying opportunity.

A lot of things can be a two edged sword, but it's better to be known, than unknown..

Now if I read that right, Intel could start losing some of it’s market share, and they wouldn’t like that. Would it be possible that they would approach us and secretly use our technology to get its share back?
Hi TopCat,

I think SiFive could be the Higg's Boson of AI, providing an attractive force between the different elements. The big boys can't afford to be without RISC-V, and SiFive invented it.

TURNAROUND COMING FOR CHIP STOCKS? INTEL, NVIDIA, BRAINCHIP, AIXTRON AND AMD

BRAINCHIP – ENTRY INTO THE MASS MARKET
The next-generation chip is currently being developed by Australian IP company BrainChip. Due to the new technology of the Akida chip, a market shift could take place in the near future, which could cause the established players to falter. Another possibility would be the acquisition of the revolutionary technology by a global player, which should make BrainChip a potential takeover candidate. It is no accident that the Akida chip was recently included in the AI partner program of the industry giant Advanced Micro Devices. Mercedes Benz also relies on the new technology for the EQXX.

The USP of the innovative processor is that it is very low-power and high-performing, fueling the growth of edge AI technology by using a neuromorphic architecture, a type of artificial intelligence inspired by the biology of the human brain. Experts see this as a significantly higher level of efficiency compared to traditional chips, since it can learn independently with each process. The areas of application therefore also revolve around future topics such as autonomous driving, robotics or the Internet of Things.

"Unlocking the future of AI", the future of artificial intelligence is what it says on the company's homepage, which has already opened the door to the mass market wide. After a sharp correction and a low for the year at AUD 0.76, the BrainChip share recovered significantly and stabilized above the AUD 1.00 mark. Akida technology is also in high demand among big players. If further partnerships are announced, the next ramp-up should start. The all-time high at the beginning of the year was AUD 2.34.

Thanks Diogenese, I have a new "graphic" crush. I'm star struck. Who said you can't "paint" a masterpiece in only black and white? Did I mention I love it?
I wonder if balloons connected by dotted lines, as opposed to solid lines, would be a good addition or just gunk up things? Like, say, Nvidia in a balloon floating to the left of nViso and Mercedes and connected to them by dotted lines? I don't know. It's simplicity is really beautiful as is. dippY

Thanks dippY,

The swan's feet of the graphic is a plain spreadsheet which has links between each company and BRN, (it's my record of major BRN events, not just inter-company links, so it's a bit messy), so if anyone wants to add to a company, a web link would be appreciated.

The dotted lines are a good idea for the unproven links, but that would pretty soon use up the 6 degrees of separation and become unmanageable because everybody will be connected to Akida.

BrainChip Demonstrates Gesture Recognition with Prophesee EV4 Development Camera

What I liked about this.

If you have a look at the EV4 you will also find that it comes as a EVK4 kit tied in with the Sony IMX 636 as per a previously posted article.

Unlikely Akida will be part of that as yet however the demonstration is a definite positive direction imo.

Prophesee has been working hard on driving commercialization of event–based cameras. The company recently released a new evaluation kit (EVK4) for the IMX 636. This kit is designed for industrial vision with a rugged housing but will work for all applications (Verre said several hundred of these kits have been sold). The company’s Metavision SDK for event–based vision has also recently been open–sourced in order to reduce friction in the adoption of event–based technology. The Metavision community has around 5,000 registered members today.
