Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
I kept this Linkedin screenshot.

Not sure if I should delete it?

Yep, and very deep pockets would be bidding.(y)

Why aren't they bidding now?

I love the optimism but if NVIDIA, apple, google wanted to buy us, surely they would have offered already. What's a cool $5 billion to them? Like 5 bucks to me lol

Hi @SERA2g
Where did you find the info regarding the 3 RTX guys standing in the BrainChip CES Suite ?
Was it from Linkedin ?
Has that post since been removed ?
Hi Tap

Yes, it was posted to Brainchip's twitter.

Looking at it just now, Day 1 and Day 3 recaps are still visible. The Day 2 recap seems to have disappeared.

I have a screenshot of it below courtesy of @chapman89

Seems strange that they were happy to post it and have now deleted it.

Did anyone purchase an M.2 board and ship it to Australia? When I went to place an order it gave a shipping fee of $200 (which is also probably USD also but i need to double check.). !!!

Yep, double checked and the price is $449 USD on checkout !
If it’s $200 USD or au that’s either a mistake or piss take unless you live on the

Apologies if posted and discussed.

But this is a very strange hire imo, there must be more to the story than what is available on LinkedIn.

He doesn't seem very highly qualified?

Not sure. The Edge is in its infancy and maybe they would prefer that BRN does all the back breaking work setting the business up pay much more for us but make money from day 1 with growth left in the tank??

Looks to me that up until Mar 2024 he was a Business Development Rep and sure there is more, the two middle might be as simple as community work part time

Yes, I screenshot everything. The secret squirrel club always show up in short order.
It gets better.
Go to:
brainchip.com
Click on the air force contract: - Home page.
At first , I thought they had chopped the second page of the announcement, but no, they have specifically removed the section regarding the sub-contractor.

Here is a link to the original ASX announcement. Do the comparison.
Hi Tap

Above is an archived version of the airforce contract page dated 10th December 2024. This is the same date that the announcement was released to the ASX.

It looks like the post on their webpage never referenced a subcontractor.

The removal of the Day 2 post from social media is interesting, but it seems you're jumping at shadows with respect to their AFRL webpage having been updated.

Roger, fair enough, at first glance I thought it was the ASX version.
My gut feel about the Day 2 post and any reference to RTX being a partner may have rubbed someone up the wrong way though.
I don't think we'll see any mention of the sub-contractor anytime soon. Happy to be wrong about that.

Maybe they need someone young on the team, and though inexperienced, he could fit in better with a similarly preppy group of clients.
A lot of the process in sales is in first selling yourself, and similar backgrounds, age and cultural bias all help in establishing rapport.
We have had, and still do, plenty of senior sales exec's with relevant experience and reputations to talk the talk and so far, none of that has seemed to crystallise into anything very tangible. Let's let the young pup have a try at the brass ring. 🤣
It can be good to shake things up in the mix with some fresh blood and new ideas from time to time and everyone has to start somewhere.

I get that. I do, i have a fairly decent sales back ground myself.

But our tech is cutting edge. It is a struggle for people already heavily embedded in the industry to wrap their heads around.

At this crucial juncture in the companies timeline i guess i would hope that we could attract people with more relevant experience and proven sales achievements?

We aren’t exactly smashing out the ip agreements the past few years ....and with hires like this, the question i ask myself is, is it going to make it easier or harder?

Just my thoughts, but it is odd imo.

I also have the PCIe board, which I put into a small form-factor Dell that I purchased from a site that refurbished business machines. It was a lot more affordable than the shuttle PC, and hopefully, it too will be a collector's item.

I chose the B+M key for the M.2 board --unfortunately, the Raspberry Pi 3B that I have doesn't have an M.2 slot, so I would have to upgrade if I wanted the poor man's shuttle PC and Raspberry Pi with Akida on board. For now, I was hoping to add it to the PC's M.2 slot if both the PCIe and it will coexist, thus my inquiry with BrainChip.

The only thing about the arrangement is that I needed an Ubuntu Linux distribution to use the PCIe card. I want a PCIe driver for Windows 10/11 for either device, since I am most comfortable developing on those platforms. To that end, I have been working in conjunction with ChatGPT to try and port the Linux driver that BrainChip has in their GitHub repo to use the Windows Kernel Mode Driver Framework.

At this point, I need to prepare an SSD to swap out the Linux installation with Windows and Visual Studio to test and debug the driver. This is my first attempt at actually writing a driver, so it's been an educational journey, to say the least.
In english please....completely lost.....

I understand where you are coming from.
Was just spitballing a possible explanation.
Maybe he's someone of influence's son or nephew. 🤣
Maybe they needed a pretty boy on the team for promotional or marketing material. 🤣
Saw all of that sort of thing happen in my time in the workforce. 🤣
Thank goodness am retired now but still hopeful brainChip can get on with it before I go for the long dirt nap. 🤣

All possible hoppy. And perhaps the big deals have already been done, buried under nda's and secrecy. With all our big tech associations and partnerships, i guess it's possible that they feel comfortable enough to hire some new blood?

The founders retiring would seem to support this also. As a shareholder i guess once again, it is a wait and see scenario.

Oh to be a fly on the wall in that office.

@SERA2g it would need to be more than a few to interest anyone with a reasonable holding imo.
I've, for quite a long time, thought the offer would need to be in the vicinity of 8 to 10 billion AUD.

Offers of 2 billion, have most likely been made and rejected.

The numb skulls, who make absolutely stupid (or disingenuous) statements, that a large player would just "buy us out" for whatever the current market capitalisation is, "if we were any good"..

Either have absolutely no idea how Company takeovers work (in a solvent situation) or are plain out just lying.
