Looks like I’ll be Voting No on performance rights/shares after reading that.

Lot's to digest in this bad boi!

Looks like it could be interpreted a few ways, probably depending on your opinion on the company.
I see a lot of the question/concerns/issues have been addressed.
They also seem to share the disappointment in progress in the last 12 months, also dissecting the performance bonuses.
I also see a lot of strong language used, specifically in regards to being an industry standard.
Also a mention of Akida 3rd Generation as well as information on the 2nd Gen and it's applications.

Lot's to read still!
Hey Damo, where do you read that file? Where can I access it? Thanks.

EDIT: sorry found link!

There's plenty of positivity in there, read further down into the technology section and the parting words from each person.

I would have thought people here would have wanted the direct approach they have taken, owning up to not meeting their own deadlines?
I couldn't think of anything worse than pretending it's not a problem and talking about how good the future is instead.

We've known everything (almost) in this report, yet there seems to be an expectation from the SH's that we would receive something in the AGM address that would re-shape how we think of the company. What were you hoping they would say?

why would people vote yes for performance rights when in their own statement they admit to not meetings their own expectations/deadlines.. anyway that’s just my opinion..

Voted against PRs.... they simply haven't hit the spot yet. If they're getting internal bonuses then they don't need any extra at the moment. 9 years in....... it's certainly been a long long road to commercialisation and rewarding in this market is not currently valid.

Yeah that's all good, I was responding to Newk about the address being pissweak, hoping for more positivity and less excuses.
Just sounds like people were praying for some Hail-Mary statement.

Edit: just to be clear, I think SH's standing up and voting no to something they disagree with is great, and they even mention a "strike" system so it could actually be even more impactful.

I have read the important bits.

I appreciate their honesty as to the current state and commercial challenges. That is much better than trying to bull crap and saying things are all rosey.

I wish things were magically better from an immediate sales perspective but they are not, it’s going to take more time.

They have the tech and improved it further and now they just need to sell it for mass deals and adoption.

Cross fingers that sales can occur now they say they have the right business and sales teams in place. We wait for the next 12 months and see.

I think the Chair gets it and he continues to impress. I must admit though I am disappointed in Sean. Last years “judge us on results” is now it has been a tough market and we have done a lot of activity. I had hoped for more detail/assurance on how the ecosystem development HAS set up certain success. I remain of the view that either doing so OR talking about a range of possible revenue projections/scenarios can be done without breaching NDAs. I remain committed with no intention of selling one share. Hopefully the Q and A provides more confidence.

I cannot believe this statement by our Chairman "Counter To Australian Norms"!! WOW

I hold a significant number of shares and I believe in reward for results and "NOT" in the now obvious American norms of "Reward on future promises" that may or may not happen!!

I know where my votes are now going.....

best slide and best target. Send information not the data. And that can make a lot of things hack proof. e.g your bank account , the way you communicate with others for payments, your social security etc.
I assume that is also one application Merc is using so that you can easily use your credit card on Merc without getting hacked.
Yes things are getting delayed but that is always on card. No will say you yes on your 1st visit. There are a lot of ifs and buts. The other good thing company is saying delays are happening but not losing customer to someone.
I am a believer in technology and keep investing based upon risk reward ratio.
If you want bigger rewards, you have to take bigger risks.

Unfortunately I wont be able to make it to the AGM, and perhaps someone can ask a multi question regarding NDA's:

a, How many active NDA's does BRN have currently in place? The answer should be requested as a specific number, or a number range, An answer like "Northward of 100 NDA's" is not good enough. Senior members at BRN should know the number, give or take 1 or 2.

b. Of the current active NDA's, what percentage have been signed since this time last year?

c. How many of the NDA's from this time last year are not current or being pursued any more?

I think the answers to these questions would give us some further insight on the level of work going on behind the scenes, and I don't think there should be any issues with the company withholding this information from us.
Well, SH answered it in his way... we have many, many, many , many........ NDA's
