I could turn around and say I have made a paper loss of 2.6mil from the high of $2.34 (if that makes anyone feel better), but I am continuing to hold. The benefit and long term potential of this stock still far outweighs the recent shortcoming.
If you don't sell you haven't made a loss. Nothing has changed. IMO, this SP will fly and will be more aligned to revenue once it begins climbing. We will still see outlandish mega spikes in the price and this is where people need to be careful.

Yes it hurts, but remember the conviction we all had when we invested in this co, and since then our technology has continued to improve and market traction will folow.
I’m with you, and similar paper losses. I hope to f#$k you’re correct, or the “Artificial Intelligence“ wI’ll be referring to us for holding all the way down! At the moment, we seem to be a lot closer to the latter.

Interesting that PAUL GLENDON HUNTER a top 20 shareholder sold 1.6 million shares since the last top 20 list was published in January.
I thought he was a poster on here ???

As a top 350 shareholder of this company i'll be voting NO to any shares to management apart from PVDM.
The recent investor podcast was complete fluff except for our great CEO stating that a potential customer walked away (but we won the design win with them thou!!!!) So what does that say..... that the costs of incorporating Akida into their chip was not worth the benefit/results.
That's good to know CEO.

Lol the presentation was pretty amateur.. heavily scripted and read verbatim in places without any conviction.

I have no idea why they couldn’t just record it with video over teams or zoom?

I still believe in the product, but I'm having less and less belief in our silent management
The product will speak for itself. I’d rather a silent company, knowing that our relations with customers are intact then have the CEO provide too much information only to appease shareholders and risk jepredising our position.

If we are not hitting the market as management expected for whatever reason (e.g. missing some of the key components) would management actually tell us that?

Personally I hope they admit it and also present a solution... not the other way around where they pretend it's going well and just come up with new product...
I think they have presented the solution in Gen2. What I would really like to know is how many of the customers who asked for the changes to AKIDA1000 that resulted in Gen2 being released are now engaged in testing Gen2 and will enter revenue producing contracts. I mean someone says 'you know what, if you could make the chip do this and that etc, etc then we would definitely use it' then you would expect our sales team to now be aggressively pursuing those sales i.e. 'here's what you asked for so put your money where your mouth is'

I do get it for a bleeding edge new product. - ie. Akida 1.0

Akida 1.0 they obviously have proven out their tech with partners in a basic form from a performance and smarts perspective. I think some customers have incorporated this into a product - still not fully sure who and when commercial though.

Akida 2.0 and beyond has always been underway and the problem is if you tell customers/potential customers about your runway of products and the "NEW FEATURES COMING" - they will typically say: "We will wait for the new and improved product" and incorporate that IP into our product. Also some want to derisk from any potential issues from a v1.0 product.

I have done the same thing in the past and waited for a second generation model/version to ensure that I get a better version with hopefully no issues. Be it IT product, Car or household whitegoods.

It is great that Akida 2.0 is confirmed to be available this year then there can be no excuses for lack of commercial traction into FY2024 through Akida 1.0 or 2.0. My concern is v2.0 integration, testing and commercialisation time for partners/customers - do we need to wait another 3 years for this - I hope not if they have already performed 2 or 3 years testing on v1.0.

I am here for the longer journey but I hope that shows large rewards by FY2025.

I wil be doing the same. IMO performance is a measure of shareholder return. Until we start seeing that, it shouldnt even be spoken about.

Dont get me wrong, I belive in the company and have no doubt they are working bl@@dy hard to commercialise, but i think they need patience... Just like us loyal holders (some 8 years loyal)

It's hard to know if we should punish the directors for simply making a mistake that we all agreed to, at the time.

We all fell for the "let's just sell IP" line - Oh, revenue will be virtually all profit!. In reality this meant that we were going to hand over the heavy sales lifting to Renesas and MegaChip. Surprise surprise, that didn't work.
But it was worth a try.
So now we're going back to selling the actual MCU that engineers can just buy off the shelf.
And we've wasted a year.
We made this mistake because the product is 100% digital, so can be scaled and made cheaply at any of the Fab companies. We were unlucky in that no-one took a punt on us and is selling a product containing the Akida IP. If they had of, we would be in a much better position - others would have had to follow suit. But they didn't.

At any rate we are back to the "let's produce the MCU" tack, a decision which I think we took quickly.
So I'll just be abstaining, worried that any push back will just add to our problems.

Top of the morning to you all Brainchipers.

We are on track with our technology but not so much with revenue which at this point is understandable. It’s also understandable why their are many frustrated and emotional BRN holders today.

There are obviously economic headwinds and companies are being very cautious so this flows through into businesses across the Globe. Not a good time to invest if you’re putting down money that you can’t lose.

I do feel for those that are down big time. But we are on a stock that shocks either way.

I am not sure who owns this but I do like it.

“The stock market takes the stairs up and the elevator down “

We are on a stock that can bypass the stairs at times and go straight up on the elevator. That’s why I like these types of stocks.

Today not so..

The elevator will be in used more often than not over the years to come. Enjoy the ride or press the button at the level you’re happy to exit.

Have fun, chin up Brainchipers... The future is where it’s at. ❤️

Good morning,

I did warn you that this 4C may not be to your liking, where did you honestly think the millions would come from ?

$40,000 USD was more than likely from online development kit sales, something like 80 units.

Sean has made it very clear, we are GOING FOR IT, no holding back, he has presented his 2/3 year plan to the Board and they
have given him the approval he needs to embark on an aggressive business plan.

The company spent around 2.4 Million USD more than the previous quarter, this figure included some annual (one-off) expenses, which I
am confident won't appear next quarter obviously.

A breakdown of the key expenses:

Research and Development + $852,000 USD
Production/Operation + $277,000 USD
Advertising + $167,000 USD
Staff + $585,000 USD
Admin/Corporate + $527,000 USD

AKIDA 2.0 was developed, AKIDA 1.5 was developed....$450,000 USD to third party engineering services, I wonder to whom that
went to, don't you...you have to spend to grow, you can't hide away in the corner of the lab as other companies are still doing, you
can't expand your sales and marketing teams without spending on salaries and advertising, you can't run a growing operation on
a shoestring budget like we have in the past.

We are in a major transition period, the big lull between producing the product and getting it into the marketplace, the opening
panic has calmed down, I hope that you make the right choice moving forward, all I'd say is think of the big picture, not a 3 month
time window, that's what's driving your emotional journey at present.

Have a good day.

Wow... never really wanted to buy more as happy with holding but have no choice..... scapping for money from everywhere which place now...
Is it possible to have fomo with regards to picking up shares so cheaply? Am I delusional? Why am I so confident and where is it coming from? Definitely have collector and hoarder mentality now. Not looking at red number in my holding section...refuse to.
Just want more brn shares....more... more... more.... I'm losing it.

Hi FB,

Transformers were only invented in 2020, so there would have been some lag before they became a must-have.

Basically, I think our transformer TeNN along with ViT perform in silicon tasks that were previously done in software for time-dependent data such as video and speech, making them faster and more power efficient.

I suppose that Akida 2's TeNN/ViT will have unique implementations and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the patents to be published.

Akida 1 works well for its designed purpose. Akida 2 now promises faster video analysis for time-critical applications (ADAS, hypersonic missile launch detection, bot trading, ...)

https://brainchip.com/brainchip-introduces-second-generation-akida-platform/

“We see an increasing demand for real-time, on-device, intelligence in AI applications powered by our MCUs and the need to make sensors smarter for industrial and IoT devices,” said Roger Wendelken, Senior Vice President in Renesas’ IoT and Infrastructure Business Unit. “We licensed Akida neural processors because of their unique neuromorphic approach to bring hyper-efficient acceleration for today’s mainstream AI models at the edge. With the addition of advanced temporal convolution and vision transformers, we can see how low-power MCUs can revolutionize vision, perception, and predictive applications in wide variety of markets like industrial and consumer IoT and personalized healthcare, just to name a few.”

“Our customers wanted us to enable expanded predictive intelligence, target tracking, object detection, scene segmentation, and advanced vision capabilities. This new generation of Akida allows designers and developers to do things that were not possible before in a low-power edge device,” said Sean Hehir, BrainChip CEO. “By inferring and learning from raw sensor data, removing the need for digital signal pre-processing, we take a substantial step toward providing a cloudless Edge AI experience.”

Obviously, Akida 2 will come at a premium over Akida 1, but Akida 1 will still be available for those who do not need the Akida 2 enhancements.

'where did you honestly think the millions would come from ?'

TBH the Co has talked about working with Mercedes. Since we don't have an AKIDA 1000 for each car to sell them, we imagined that M.B was producing it's own chip with AKIDA IP.

But since there aren't any millions $, something doesn't add up, all of a sudden.

That is why we are concerned.
