My problem is the lack of equity where so called marketable parcels are concerned.

Technophobe that I am I find the argument very shallow that allowing retail to trade one share is impractical and requiring 500 share trades during trading hours 10am to 4pm by them while allowing large corporations with computers directly connected to the ASX to trade from one share to infinity during a trading day and either side thereof the very definition of corrupt conduct.

If a local real estate agent rang his developer friends and told them there was a property which he had just listed but had not advertised publicly but if they were interested he would put it too auction and start the auction two hours before the published start time so they could bid unopposed and knock the house to them for their opening bid upon evidence of this occurring the agent would end up in gaol along with the developer.

If the head of acquisitions in a government department called for tenders from only a group of hand picked special mates who paid him by renovating his house this would be considered a conspiracy and the participants would go to gaol.

If a member of parliament was given inside information about a coal mine that was going to be approved and bought the land in advance of that approval this would be considered a conspiracy and the participants would go to gaol.

So how is it that running a rigged imbalanced market for the advantage of a select group of participants who just happen to be paying money to the ASX does not meet a similar fate???

I have said it before retail cannot hope to swim with the sharks so the only way to survive and thrive is to Do Your Own Research, Understand what you are investing in, Invest what you can afford and no more and Allow time in the market to iron out these criminal anomalies.

At the very least it should be against competition laws. The ACCC should do their job. ASIC should do their job. The Gov't should do their job. All this so the Magistrates can do their jobs. Hang em I say, hang em!

One of the secrets of Blind Freddie’s trading success is he never looks. 😎
Just in case no one noticed the US markets were unhappy overnight and the BIG BANK Index reacted in sympathy on the ASX.

It is as certain as night follows day in those geographic regions where that occurs.

In independent self confident regions like the Artic Circle they have the confidence to ignore the Nasdaq. Polar bears don’t give a toss about the Nasdaq or Dow.

Australian retail on the other hand are in awe of all things Nasdaq and Dow.

Move on, nothing to see.
I suggested to the homeless guy that he might try and interest his mates from under the bridge to spend their coffee money in the market well it looks like it’s caught on:

“A fund manager angry at the proliferation of single share trades that go through the market said the ASX had a duty to market participants to not allow activity that flouts traditional, well-established rules”

It’s great to live in a democracy where everyone has an opportunity to share in the wealth (until it affects the ability of the rich to become richer.)😂🤣😂🤡🤡🤡😎

The trouble for us plebs is that to trade in single BrainChip shares it costs us $10.50 per share (adding $9.50 brokerage).

Maybe if they made the playing field fair, and charged everyone brokerage, and required min $500 trades (as applies to us), some of this silly business will disappear.

Looking on Megachips website. Particularly like this bit especially as Bra8nchip and Quadric follows sttaight after.

The most recent expansion of our IP portfolio is in the area of Edge AI. We believe that Edge AI IP and software will make their way into the majority of our products in the future. We are prepared to advise our customers on the best way to implement the desired level of AI features, whether it be software or hardware and which particular IP is best suited to their application.

I think it will be released in October, 2022.

Personally, I don't care exactly when it is released, as long as it's a positive 4C ... But I must admit, that I do have this rather strong premonition, that we may be very close to a " break even " scenario ( Revenue = Costs) ..... way earlier than any one of us may have ever expected ............ I'm sure, that this would give Sean H a sense of accomplishment and a big pat on the back from the whole of the management team and recognition that the Co is headed in the right direction.

Can anyone remember which Australian technology company shocked shareholders in 2020 when the CEO said that it did not need China?
Did this company have a crystal ball?

Pity this Australian technology company after such amazing foresight did not then drive deep links with NASA, DARPA and US based technology companies and create a US centric ecosystem it would have had not only a three to five year technology lead but a commercialisation strategy ahead of the curve.

What's that Blind Freddie the company is Brainchip. Wow we should hold shares in that company. What's that Blind Freddie you think we do. That's an amazing piece of luck.

Latest Merc models and manufacture process.
We should be able to find AKIDA here somewhere if only in the gesture recognition for a skylight.

I had the time to watch this amazing accomplishment of technology within the MB factory. Simply inspiring. BUT there is nothing Brainchip related unfortunately. There is no mention of the EQXX concept car which makes me think the video was made around 2019 or so, even though it was published 3 days ago.

It does mention a research vehicle, the FO 15 around the 41m 30s mark which I'm sure we haven't heard of.

Screen Shot 2022-10-20 at 3.20.54 pm.png

At the 28m mark the video highlights '100's of sensors' throughout the factory, and the brand is Ubisense. I haven't heard of this company and there has been no mention of it within our forums. Perhaps one to do some research on. https://ubisense.com

Just for interest sake, there is amazing technology being demonstrated around the headlights and how 'light' is being used to help on the road at night. This is at the 36m mark.

Safety on the road and for pedestrians is reinforced via stringent testing on MB's testing roadways, once again amazing to watch at the 37m 30s mark.

So, quite confusing about the lack of mention of EQXX and it's achievements.

I like this comment:

Now if you go to wikepedia and search 6502, substitute 6502 for AKIDA and read it in the context of 2022 instead of 1975, it'll bring a smile to your face.
What a blast from the past. I have worked with programming a 6502 during my uni days. And in direct machine code too, using the binary Opcodes and no compiler. I once had a three hour practical exam where the main question involved writing a program to add two large numbers together and multiply by another large number with the inputs used didn‘t fit in single registers, so you had to do a lot of carrying over of bits and recalculating. Getting the test lab to print the answer was even an effort.

I look forward to the day this useless knowledge departs my brain.
