Hi Evermont,

Good video but when I dug a bit deeper to see where I could buy one I found it was a competitors board for $65.

Looking further at the company (Himax) they do cnn for voice and vision.

Not sure where they came from as I hadn’t heard of them before?

?

Cheers

Sorry @Stable Genius I should have added the context.

‘This proves nothing’ as Sergeant Schultz from Hogans Hero’s would say but I am feeling more confident about my speculation that the AKIDA next generation with LSTM IP is already in the hands of an automotive vehicle manufacturer, just like AKD1000 IP was distributed to select customers close to 18 months before it was produced as an engineering sample.

If I only had one with @uiux and @butcheroo to help I could use it to see the future and remove any doubt.😂🤣😂😎

Great find once again @Bravo

Feel free to shoot me down with flaming flames….

A patent not being announced on the ASX , this is yet another achievement and milestone.

I do not care whom‘s responsibility it May , fall upon, whether one is on a holiday or not.

Totally reckless and is not good enough, over 40,000 shareholders , not every single shareholder has the informative , information on hand due to the information within TSE.

It is of the upmost imperative, for BRN to keep every single shareholder informed of information to keep one’s well informed. Irrespective of what ones may well hold ie. 500 to 5mil shares , we should all expect the same respect, as shareholders we all own the company and should /need to be informed of vital information/ certainly not via google.

Rant over…….

Nan xxx

I also am a bit bemused by the non ann,but i believe someone mention it will be released once they receive the physical notice... which again is a bit bewildering . I have not checked if all previous patents were included in anns.

Thanks for the context @Evermont . If Anil likes it then I like it!

Fingers crossed we are involved in there somewhere. I’m not fazed if its a node or two hidden away working quietly in the background providing the secret source. I feel like a fraud using tech talk as I barely understand it but apparently we are “Processor agnostic and work with CNN”

Until I see Himax replacing Brainchip with Valeo I’m not concerned anyway!

I’ll keep watching the financials.

Cheers.

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
not uninteresting: CTO of Mercedes becomes new IT-board member at Porsche

an extract: "Sajjad Khan moves to Porsche - Ex-Mercedes board member to strengthen digital profile
At Mercedes, Sajjad Khan ushered in and shaped the digital age. Now his move to Stuttgart-based competitor Porsche is imminent....Khan had worked for the Stuttgart-based premium manufacturer for six years before leaving Mercedes in August 2021. There, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he was responsible for development in the areas of connectivity, autonomous driving and new mobility services ("shared services"). At Mercedes, Khan was seen as a pioneer of new software with which the Stuttgart-based manufacturer intends to enter the age of automotive digitization....The real surprise in Khan's upcoming appointment to the Porsche Executive Board is the fact that the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer now also wants to afford its own IT and software officer in the top management body....Porsche, for example, had already held intensive talks with Apple in the past about a collaboration.

Porsche CEO Oliver Blume pointed out that the automotive industry is currently undergoing what is probably the greatest transformation in its history...."

CTO of Mercedes becomes new IT-board member at Porsche.

Yes, this is definitely not uninteresting @cassip, especially considering Sajjad Khan's history.

Hi @BienSuerte,

I just noticed that Meta is going to continue to use Qualcomm's chips in its Quest line of virtual reality headsets and the two companies are teaming up to build "customized" chipsets. The articles states " the VR chipsets that are being designed as part of this collaboration are not exclusive to Meta".

This is interesting because earlier this year Qualcomm also teamed up with Microsoft as well on custom chips for AR glasses, with Microsoft promising "lightweight" and energy-efficient wearables, so Qualcomm appears to be working with both rivals on roughly the same thing.

Now I'm not saying this is us, but in light of the recent BrainChip Vibration Analysis video showing the headsets, these articles piqued my interest, particularly where they refer to "energy efficient wearables "and "specialised technologies".

Food for thought?

Oh, and I also noticed that on Friday, Meta confirmed it purchased a company called Lofelt that's developing "next generation" haptic technology for virtual reality.

Good vibrations!

From the looks of the details of this recent patent and the ones ANN'd in the past, one obvious difference appears to be that this recent one refers to a specific use case of Akida - whereas the others that were ANN'd in the past directly relate to the protection of the design of Akida itself.

It is perhaps for this reason that the recent patent (although significant) may have been perceived by the company as less 'foundational' and therefore not worthy of a standalone ANN. Either way, id expect to see it at least get a mention in perhaps a 4C.

Hi wilzy123: ,

Any ASX listed company patents updates should / needs to be disclosed to every single shareholder via the ASX. ( not via google/ nor us fortune enough to be on TSE and were bedazzled and jewelled via yr google search , not being disrespectful, very grateful for your research/ however it needs to be announced on a formal format via the ASX for every single shareholder to be informed of crucial information, how else can one make clear concise decisions)

A lot to consider in this following linked article. If generally accurate the following seems possible:

1. The USA will not become an inflationary mess and once again will become the dominant World economy;

2. Europe will become US focused;

3. China & Russian economies will suffer and cause internal instability and it is likely political change will overtake the present leaderships as it has historically in both countries;

4. Australia will keep shooting itself in the foot economically and politically.

As to your points made above @Bravo I agree that we could very well be involved in the future VR headsets and gaming consoles .....Why not we are going to be in everything else! ;);)👊 and why would they include that at the end of the Vid!? A little crumb to digest!!! 👀

Hi nanna,

BrainChip probably has an internal system for ranking the value of their patents.

At the top would be the fundamental inventions which substantially expand or improve the performance of Akida, such as neural cortex, 4-bit weights and activations, CNN2SNN, and these are the ones the company considers sufficiently valuable to be worthy of an ASX announcement.

From @chapman89 's email from Tony, the newly granted patent is about the use of Akida, and does not involve a significant change to the architecture of the Akida circuit.

The fundamental patents would be used in nearly all applications of Akida, while the current patent has only a limited range of uses.

Hi N,

I believe they already announced that there will be 15 or so patents going thru the approval process. This was announced at the last AGM I think. So in effect they have already been announced.

Can we take notice of the exact words used under Nature of Trade please.

They are not ‘On market trade’ but ‘On market transfer’.

Without disclosing my personal financial details my wife and I have independent financial resources one from the other and from time to time it serves our respective interests to be lenders and borrowers of each other.

Notice it is an on market transfer not a trade complete the dots before you jump to the conclusion that he has truly divested himself from the future benefits of share ownership in Brainchip. He just needed to move cash from one pocket to another pocket that allowed him access and in the process reduced the future capital gains tax on the transferred shares.

IMO ...there was a substantial error in Antonio Viana " Change of Directors Interest Notice " :

The Notice says he had 666,666 FPO shares
Then number of shares held by him after the change was 436,666 shares
Accordingly, imo that makes it that he only disposed of some 230,000 shares and not the full 666,666 shares as disclosed per the notice... !!!

Hi D,

I very much appreciate your reply.

However , all and any new information including updates relating to the company, including patents , needs and should be disclosed to every single shareholder, there are now in excess of 40,000 shareholders , any new information or updates should be disclosed through the correct channel ASX and can be done within a non - price sensitive announcement.. Hence this will provide every singe shareholder the EQUAL opportunity to learn about the company that they own and have invested their monies within.
