What I find interesting at that other site (when I used to look there, never again!) was the shorters or downies used to post one of their favourite comments.

If it walks like a duck..... well all I can say is fuck them all, and I mean that with a capital F. I very rarely use poor language but sometimes it is really needed just to put in that special !!!!!!

That's right If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. They like to use it as a negative, but no, BRN is very much looking like, sounding like and quacking like a duck, but only in the most positive way. In fact I'd say it's probably looking like Blind Freddy's pet duck TBH.

The further down the road we get, all I can see is companies like Megachips, Mercedes and this last ann from NVISO (not going to name them all) saying, this is ground breaking. This is out performing anything we thought, comments like "NVISO’s first neuromorphic optimised EVK was achieved in record time and exceeded all expectations”, said Tim Llewellynn, CEO of NVISO, “BrainChip has delivered an excellent development environment for AI software specialists like NVISO, and the maturity of their tools really show why they are first commercial neuromorphic processor IP to market."

This is not coming from Brainchip, and I believe we are going to see more and more companies showcasing Akida IP and saying the same thing, WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD!

So when these people cast doubt and fear into others remember it works in reverse as well. BRN is a duck well probably an understatement, more like a goose, but one that comes from a story book, you know the one, it's starts with magic beans and a cow :)

BRN walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. It's also going to dive into a great big, shiny, pile of gold just like this duck (IMO, of course)!

Therefore, we are looking for a talented, motivated and software affine Neuromorphic Perception Research Engineer (m/f/d) to support our research activities combining modern computer vision techniques, the Event-based Vision Sensor and Neuromorphic Computing to achieve an end-to-end neuromorphic perception system.

Your responsibilities will be
  • Fundamental research primarily concerned with event-based sensor technology and creation of intellectual property
  • Development and implementation of computer vision and sensor fusion algorithms on real-time platforms utilizing neuromorphic computing
  • Implementation of proof-of-concept demonstrators with novel cameras and devices from robotics area
  • Support establishment of a R&D infrastructure which facilitates teamwork for research & development
  • Willing to continually learn new skills and share your expertise with others through close collaboration with colleagues

Profile:
  • Background in Engineering or Computer Science (PhD or equivalent experience). A track record of relevant academic publications, patents, and/or open-source software is a plus.
  • Strong background in Neuromorphic Computing and experience developing Neural Network applications, preferably with Spiking Neural Networks
  • Experience with event-based cameras, robotics or autonomous vehicles is a plus.
  • Experience with optical, image sensor, or camera technology and their associated computer vision principles is a plus.
  • We expect passion for good software with strong skills in in C/C++, Python and related tools. Experience with embedded software development and/or ROS is a plus.
  • We hope for good communication skills and willingness to work in an agile team.

Makes you wonder why anyone would question whether or not those at Brainchip aren't doing there job.
One of these days BRN is going to explode, and you'd want to be hanging on to as many shares as you could!

Hey, sorry guys.
I do not want to throw the cat amongst the pigeons but suggest anyone thinking of investing with NVISO take a look at the thread highlighted to me by Rise a page or so back. It is a thread describing what are perhaps disgruntled, perhaps manipulative players who purport to have been involved in previous capital raising's and were disappointed with the outcome thus far.
It may be ancient history and it may be all bullshit, but I think it worth being aware of, in case there is any truth attached.
I had and have no further knowledge of these events beyond what I have read in that thread and sincerely hope that I am not spreading baseless rumours with this post, but suggest to DYOR on this matter.
