This will be my final post. It has been an education in many respects but we have now reached the point where I can see no value in the process from my personal perspective. @zeeb0t has done a remarkable job of creating this place for shareholders to engage and exchange views and research and I have great admiration for him.

There are posters now though who post what they claim to be contrary investment arguments however they are on analysis simply expressions of their anxieties. There are those who post statements about what they are going to do if x, y or z does not happen. Which again being charitable these pointless threats are expressions of anxiety but some I suspect when I read their previous posts are probably just bullies. There are those who post claims about future income and when it is going to show up that are unsupported by anything published or spoken by the company.

There are those who continue to research and post links and articles that increase knowledge of the technology and partners but I personally no longer need any further validation of the technology and its revolutionary nature.

So to all those who I have enjoyed the journey with to this point and who like myself have no doubts about the company and its future success I say thank you and may the 1,000 Eyes continue to be an unbelievable source of information and inspiration to all new shareholders.

I look forward to meeting up again at the 2023 AGM in Sydney.

Quotes from the investment man himself and I find below quotes apply to Brain Chip/investors:

“If you aren’t thinking about owning a stock for 10 years, don’t even think about owning it for 10 minutes.”

“Time is the friend of the wonderful company, the enemy of the mediocre.”

“The stock market is designed to transfer money from the active to the patient.”

“All there is to investing is picking good stocks at good times and staying with them as long as they remain good companies.”

It’s far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price, than a fair company at a wonderful price.”

“The key to investing is not assessing how much an industry is going to affect society, or how much it will grow, but rather determining the competitive advantage of any given company and, above all, the durability of that advantage.”

“In the business world, the rearview mirror is always clearer than the windshield.”

BrainChip Holdings Set to Dominate the AI Market

brainchip holdings shares in value

Did you know that BrainChip Holdings is the only pure-play AI company on the ASX?
They have gone from humble beginnings in Australia and made it all the way to Silicon Valley in California. Led by a team of neuromorphic experts from all over the world, BrainChip has developed a chip, Akida, which mimics the human brain in AI applications. The technology is ground-breaking, and BrainChip holds 9 patents. A further 22 patents have now been filed and awaiting approval.
Akida is the world’s first commercial neuromorphic chip, and this is what it brings to the table:
  • Akida is an ultra-low-power chip that provides fast AI applications at the Edge without needing a constant internet connection.
  • Akida’s innovation and breakthrough technology has ensured that BrainChip has no competitors.
  • The high barriers to entry and the patent portfolio ensure that this tech cannot be easily mimicked.
  • Thus, the AI industry is BrainChip’s to penetrate once commercialisation begins.
BrainChip is Now an ASX-200 Company
Given the company’s progress in the past couple of years, BrainChip has grown from a market capitalisation of $700 million in 2020, which is when we began recommending it to our members, to a $1.5 billion market capitalisation.
BrainChip is now inducted into the ASX-200 index, which brings a suite of benefits, including mandatory institutional buying. ETFs and Management Funds such as Vanguard and Blackrock have products that invest in the ASX-200 index. This brings in billions of dollars of investor money.
Additionally, taking advantage of this situation, BrainChip launched the American Depositary Receipt (ADR) program to attract US institutional investors. With American investors gaining direct access, it will increase the interest in BRN shares considerably, as it is the biggest market, especially for tech shares.
A Deal with NASA Kicked Off BrainChip’s Emergence
Given the scalability and high-tech capabilities of BrainChip, it is no surprise that that firm has already partnered with the best tech companies in the world.
  • BrainChip announced a partnership with Japanese firm Magic Eye to produce 3D sensors for use in robotics and surveillance.
  • BrainChip collaborated with Vorago Technologies to support a Phase 1 NASA program for a neuromorphic processor that meets space flight requirements.
  • NASA directly placed an order for BrainChip’s Akida Early Access Program for use at NASA Research Centre.
These partnerships proved Akida’s concept and set up BrainChip to begin its commercialisation strategy.
New CEO to Lead Commercialisation
Following proof of concept, BrainChip began taking orders for Akida AI Processor Development Kits. The company has now already shipped development kits to prospective customers, and sales announcements are expected to begin coming through.
To lead this commercial push, BRN recently appointed tech veteran Sean Hehir to transform the company from an Edge AI technology developer to a global semiconductor IP and chips supplier.
Mr Hehir has managed large global teams and been responsible for explosive revenue growth for global enterprise organisations such as Compaq and HP and smaller, fast-growing companies like Fusion-io. Hehir is an industry-recognised builder of trusted Strategic Alliances across diverse partners such as Systems Integrators, ISVs, and OEMs.
His strong relationships with top-tier global semiconductor manufacturers should enable BrainChip to capitalise on the many growth opportunities and steer it through the commercialisation phase. We can see this corporate strategy already in the works with new deals and partnerships.
Mercedes Deal Proves Entry Into Autonomous Car Market
Since Akida is extremely low-powered, it maximises performance and minimises power consumption. It solves two very critical bottlenecks in the technology space. And in fact, Mercedes has already used Akida in one of its recent concept cars.
Since Akida dramatically reduces the energy required for it to run, more energy is left in the tank for the cars to run longer. We think many more automobile companies developing Autonomous Vehicles will adopt BrainChip’s Akida in 2022 and beyond.
The Autonomous Vehicles (or Self-Driving Cars) market is expected to reach US$11 billion by 2028, and Google’s Waymo and Tesla lead it.
Tesla and Waymo are so far ahead of the competition that tier-1 manufacturers such as Mercedes, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Ford are looking to fast-track their technology development. Akida is the perfect bridge technology that will eventually enable these tier-1 manufacturers to catch up. This has already transpired in the Mercedes deal.
In addition to the automobile market, BrainChip is also involved in the Smart Home and Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) – both billion-dollar industries that are crying out for a chip that is as powerful as Akida.
Partnership with the Biggest Chip Companies in the World
Given the scalability and high-tech capabilities of BrainChip, the firm has already partnered with the best tech companies in the world.
  • BrainChip’s latest partner is ARM, one of the biggest semiconductor firms in the world ($45 billion market cap) that makes one of the most technologically advanced chips.
  • A deal with Japan’s MegaChips, a company with a 69 billion market cap, ensures BrainChip’s tech will reach global customers – allowing the firm to enter new geographies and leave a footprint.
Share Price Catalyst Everyone is Waiting for is Almost Here
As part of BrainChip’s commercialisation strategy, the company is targeting broader audiences by presenting at industry events and conferences to demonstrate the commercial applications of Akida Technology.
The company also focuses on physical expansion by quadrupling its US headquarters space. Larger facilities will support infrastructure needs to accelerate the commercialisation of BrainChip’s IP.
In the coming quarters, BrainChip is focused completely on securing additional strategic partnerships for incorporating Akida chips as part of customers’ technology offerings and through sales engagement in key markets worldwide.
With three revenue streams already established, BrainChip is headed for a wide range of commercialisation opportunities, all of which can be a catalyst for the share price.
Already Well Funded, There is No Stopping BrainChip
To support these activities, BrainChip has over US$31 million in cash. Going by its quarterly burn rate, this is enough reserves to take BrainChip through not just 2022 but 2023 as well.

This is a very good position to be in in a market where raising capital is becoming harder and more expensive. BrainChip is also expected to bring in revenues as commercialisation deals begin to flow.
We have witnessed BrainChip go from an R&D company to one with a unique technology that essentially transplants a human brain onto a chip. Now, BrainChip is beginning its ascent into becoming a global technology company that will bring in million in revenues.
Final Words
AI is the future, and BrainChip is the only pure-play AI company on ASX. Its technology is already being used by the biggest companies such as NASA and Mercedes.
BrainChip has also partnered with billion-dollar tech giants such as ARM and MegaChips. The new CEO is leading their commercialisation strategy, and deals are expected to be announced in the remainder of 2022. Early Access Program customers are also expected to report back to BrainChip with commercial contracts. With BRN now being inducted into the ASX-200, institutional investment and price catalyst announcements are in the pipeline.

Hi Fact Finder,
Words cannot describe what I have learnt from you. To say you will not be posting here is a bit drastic. I can understand that your fingers do get tired after writing all these big long articles and need a well-earned rest but can you resist the temptation not to post anything any more? If you see those WANCAs posting fake news and incorrect assumptions, we definitely need you to straighten them out.

Without your expert research and guidance, I have now raised BRN's risk level up a notch in my risk model.

Please just restrict your posting to one or two a week and don't leave us.😪

Hi Bravo,

It looks like KIST are using an analog SNN.

US2022156565A1 NEUROMORPHIC CIRCUIT INCLUDING SPIKE REGULATOR BASED ON FLASH MEMORY

1657416632646.png

1657416964775.png

[0036] The first neuron array 110 generates a spike signal and transmits it to the synapse array 130 . The first neuron array 110 may include neuron circuits 112 and 114 that generate input spike signals. The neuron circuits 112 and 114 may perform a function of outputting signals to other neurons, similar to the axon of a biological neural network. For example, each of the neuron circuits 112 and 114 may generate an input spike signal based on data or information input from the outside. The input spike signal may be a pulse signal that toggles for a short period of time. In particular, the neuron circuits 112 and 114 of the present invention may be configured in a stable and simple structure using a flash memory type transistor (FMTR). In particular, the flash memory type transistor FMTR constituting the spike regulator included in the neuron circuits 112 and 114 may arbitrarily adjust a threshold voltage through charge injection. Accordingly, the output characteristic of the spike signal provided by the spike regulator may be adjusted, and stability may be improved.

Unless there is direct reference to a digital SNN, most of the past developments relate to analog SNNs.

As with most of the analog neurons we've looked at, the inaccuracies of the manufacturing process mandate some fiddling to compensate for the variations in the amplitude of the output voltage of the neurons.

The KIST system described in the article relies on the ability of the tactile sensor to discriminate between different levels of tissue stiffness. In effect it is part of what used to be known as "expert systems", which emulate the expertise of a human expert. This requires a knowledge data base of expert knowledge with which the processor can compare the sensor test results.

That said, there is no doubt that Akida could readily perform of the KIST SNN function, given the tactile sensor and data base.

On the other hand, we need to acknowledge that there will be competition from third party systems. These are often single purpose applications, and may be analog or digital, so it is to our advantage that organizations like Mercedes and NASA see advantages in reducing the number of different ICs in their inventories which is made possible because Akida is sensor-agnostic.

KIST have over 120 patents relating to NNs.

This one uses machine learning:

Hi FF,

A couple of Buffets latest investments.

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway buys another $700 million of Occidental Petroleum stock — and now commands a $11 billion stake in the energy giant.

Edge Compute.

I've been in catch up mode this last week and when making a comment re Buffet after Fact Finders post I was unaware of the upcoming FF announcement.

I thank you FF for your time & effort that you have invested into TSE & HC.

A couple of your posts that have stuck with me and I found amusing were,

When you claimed you were down ramping with your 1% of target market &

When you were speaking to someone at BRN HQ and they said you probably knew more than what they do.

Work life balance is important and I hope you can keep contributing without feeling the need to defend BRN.

Edge Compute.

Cheers FF, enjoy your second retirement 🤣 On a personal note you have certainly indirectly changed my life!! I found one of your posts on HC top posts back in 2020 and after doing some research never looked back! Your attention to detail and ability to deconstruct announcements were and are treasured! Because of your post on HC you’ve put me in a position to buy a house and hopefully buy one outright in a few years time, something that I will be eternally grateful for!! Stay well my friend!!! From a very thankful 23yo ❤
Wow that is amazing @Bloodsy good on you. @Fact Finder I respect your decision but do hope you reconsider at some point. @Bloodsy’s story is such an example of the difference you have made with your contributions to this forum, as have others. It is a community we have built on here that is what I value the most.

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
Our trusted partner is helping make the market bigger!

I'm not sure why I got a mention in the comments section, but obviously it's a great honour and I feel very privileged to be a part of such an innovative program. 🤭
