Brainchip Podcasts, Interviews and Presentations

A couple of mentioned by Sean in the interview wall street resource which got my attention

Mechanical monitoring on locomotives, think I’ve heard this specifically mentioned before so would assume this and other industrial condition monitoring applications are getting a lot of interest

The other mention that was good to hear was that interest is being shown for application of Akida in drones
Hi Filo
This drone reference fits in with comments by former CEO Mr Dinardo mid 2020 (not last year as I said in another post) that someone was looking at AKIDA for search and rescue disaster recovery work.

Hey FF , wasn’t aware of that, search and rescue is a great potential application. Have thought about the potential application of Akida in the cameras on police choppers for instance every time I hear one buzz our area. If the cameras were ‘smarter’ in detecting & tracking the target then they would probably have to spend less time in the air and we then can get a bit more sleep Lol

Sean’s comment did get my interest as I‘m personally hoping that the retail drone manufacturers would see the potential of Akida to make their drones ‘smarter’ and then BRN open up a big IP revenue stream

Hi dippY
I agree with your ideas but I think this type of sales success is going to be difficult for shareholders to judge given the ASX disclosure requirements.

If you or I were wanting to steal a lead over the competition by adopting AKIDA we would not want our competitors to know so we are going to take the Renesas or MegaChips route so Brainchip does not have to disclose.

So while Rob and Sean may be popping corks on champagne bottles at the office there will only be crickets turning up at the ASX.

The only place we as shareholders will see these deals is in ramping up of revenue in the 4C which Sean Hehir has said is going to happen this year.

WE MIGHT get lucky if a company like Mercedes makes its own disclosure but otherwise I don’t know we will have much to assess performance on other than income.

TOTALLY agree. I never meant to imply the actual sales would be publicized. Of course the revenue will tell all. Thanks for clarifying.

That was a great interview (Wall St) with Sean.

Regarding Sean's mention of revenue, I didn't understand it as being revenue ramping up or "explosive revenue" like some of you have. I have full confidence in Sean and PVDM, not trying to discount what they have said at all, but I'm struggling to understand how we can come to that conclusion from what Sean said in this interview.

Couldn't Sean's mention of revenue be referring to PCIe boards, MegaChips fees, EAP payments? Maybe I have missed why we can expect more than that?

Other than that confusion, I love the interview! So much confidence and it's interesting to hear directly from Sean about what direction he's focusing on.

When I was listening to the interview, the one stood out for me was Sean didn't join just like that. He did due diligence as he said he was in silicon valley and smart people that he spoke to and also he said he looked at BRN team as well. So the guys who was so successful in his previous work, no doubt he will take BRN to the where is deserve to be.
All the faith no just on Sean all the brilliant and intelligent mind at BRN.
Hoping for a good day on SP side :)

I personally see this as an ongoing adoption of the price sensitive ASX announced income predictions made in the Acting CEO’s address to shareholders at last years AGM where he spoke too the slides accompanying his presentation which showed income growing in 2022 and starting to ramp from mid 2022.

In subsequent interviews the Acting CEO and the CFO have both confirmed that the increasing income in 2022 will negate the need to raise capital beyond the current LDA Capital commitment.

The statement by the new CEO after having had two months to properly review these projections has by his statement in this interview adopted the price sensitive announced predictions.

This is the question and answer:

“Question: Should we start to see revenue ramp up this year or what year?

Answer: EXPECTING THIS YEAR FOR SURE - CEO Brainchip Sean Hehir.”

Can not in my opinion be clearer Brainchip is tracking exactly as stated by the Acting CEO at last years AGM.

The most important aspect of Brainchip or any company that you invest your money with is that the statements and predictions are consistent and can be relied upon.

Long term investors have come to trust that even during dark times and there have been a couple since 2015 Brainchip has always been upfront, truthful and reliable.

When asked about revenue streams Sean basically said the PCI board sales is not significant in their revenue forecasts. IP and licensing is their main focus of revenue growth. When asked about revenue “ramping up” this year of next? The answer most certainly this year. Put the two together. IP and licence fees and ramping up this year. Simples.

Akida - the unfair advantage.

Thank you both for clarifying! That makes more sense now because of the question. I would have re re listened to it haha

Well this sounds very positive.

We have a telecommunications company in talks.

The point of cash flow positive or break even should be comming early 2023.

Watch the revenue reports for growth as we can't disclose NDA of our clients.

Nice to see they are still engaging with who we have.

Only lost 1 NDA company out of all the companies we have had. That is pretty good likely they did not see an advantage to their product possibly IMO.

Sean always presents very well.
A couple of things to add about financials.
- Can't disclose NDA's. But look to the financials to get a gauge on the uptake from business.
- Confident cash runway is sufficient. Even with number of employees increasing to 100 by years end.
