Hi everyone
Have finally just found the time to listen to last nights presentation by Sean Hehir. Great presentation and he will clearly just go from strength to strength in this area but why am I posting about his presentation. WELL BECAUSE WHAT HE HAS TO SAY ABOUT MERCEDES WHEN HE REACHES THAT PART OF HIS PRESENTATION tells me it is all over red rover. He built up to what he intended to say all through the presentation and he even makes clear what he was doing so no accidental misuse of language he names Mercedes as a CUSTOMER.

But do not take my word for it or that of the other poster/s who mentioned it go and do yourself a big favour register and listen and do not skip to the Mercedes point because you will miss Sean Hehir building to his major pronouncement and the calculated way this was being done at each slide.


Because this is for me so significant remember I am just another anonymous poster so DYOR

Hi FF I myself find this Mercedes "customer" a bit tricky does he mean Mercedes being one of 15 EAP "customers" or an actual customer NOT in EAP list? Also in the PDF Mercedes is not on the EAP page together with the other 4 but on its own which made me lean towards the NOT in EAP list but an actual customer who's signed the dotted line. But it can also be that they simply want to highlight the Mercedes verification and have it by its own.

Hence why I laboured the need to listen to the whole presentation to make clear that the CEO Sean Hehir could not claim to have accidentally used the word customer.

Thanks for your point of view. I am quite certain that Mercedes specifically mentioning Akida is not mere validation but a way to tell the world "Hey there's an awesome product that's about to take off and we'll be the first one implementing it!"

It's just that hearing a direct message from our CEO about the dotted line would be awesome.

My 2cents.

Yes and I am of the opinion that is what the CEO has done.

Mercedes is a customer.

That is what the CEO said.

Mercedes is not listed as an EAP because Mercedes is a straight out customer it could not be clearer in my opinion.

When I spoke to Tony last week he highly recommended tuning into the podcast as it will provide further detail on the commercialisation strategy and what we have to look forward to in the short-medium term as shareholders. Hoping for a few nuggets 🤞

Cheers @AARONASX . No new nuggets of info, but you definitely get the feel that Sean is going to take BrainChip to a new level...and fast!

Key points that stood out for me - was good to hear that his vision is to prove up our tech so that we become the de facto standard for edge AI in the industry (sounds like he doesn’t just want a slice of the pie!). Not going to just keep our lead, we’re going to accelerate that lead. And 2022 is all about commercialisation. Obtaining more customers and many more verticals.

Sounds good to me....

Good to hear from the new Ceo and love the confidence he talks with, especially the fact he wants Akida to be the defacto AI for edge devices. If they can achieve that we are all going to be very well off indeed. Its been a long road but I feel 2022 is the year our little Aussie battler will show the world the way of the future. They may not be the biggest or richest yet, but they have done what the big corporations with all their resources have failed to achieve. Just a bit excited as to what this year will bring.

I like the way he thinks and his credentials says he walks the walk. 2022 a big year, could be an understatement! I think we are in for some very pleasant surprises with this new CEO.

I posted this on the discussion thread as the podcast came up there as well with sage comments by uiux but as this is the podcast thread thought I should switch it over.

I have said before we all listen from different points on the compass.

I listen from the point where all litigation lawyers stand and I have too say the new CEO Sean Hehir is absolutely not shielding himself from liability.

It is clear to me that having taken a very deep dive under the hood he has not found one bolt or screw out of place and is pulling at the bit to get out on the track and put his foot flat to the floor.

I loved his statement that before taking the position he sat down with technology experts who confirmed to him what Brainchip had.

I loved the fact that the philosophy he embraced in one of his earlier successful roles of getting the product into as many hands around the world as possible is also being adopted here at Brainchip.

Why? Well not because it is a great sales technique which it is but because it is the ultimate statement of confidence in the AKIDA TECHNOLOGY product.

When I was prosecuting if I was confident in the case I was presenting I would give full disclosure without even being asked. It blows your opponent out of the water if you display that sort of confidence. The same applies here.

I personally could not be happier with this first full blown presentation to shareholders by the new CEO and all I can say is look out World Brainchip is off and sprinting catch them if you can.’

Fantastic Podcast, love his voice & his enthusiasm, Sean is very competitive in everything he does & he likes to WIN

Defacto, I like it, sounds to me like Sean is planning on getting Akida in everything, to me it sounds like Sean does not just want a slice of the pie he wants to eat the whole Cake 😁
