So did the tough guy and put up with pain in the middle of my back for 5 days. Now in hospital with undiagnosed covid which has caused major clots in both lungs and killed parts of my lungs. Get to the doctor early guys

What I m annoyed about is that AVZ allowed this matter to drag out for so long and failed to address the last 15 % to bring our ownership to 90% earlier and bring it to a head.

They kept reporting " in discussion with Govt and progressing well".

Obviously discussing with wrong part of the Govt else how could Z make these claims.

What should have been the most awaited, important and company building moment in 5 years (License approval) is soured by these shenanigan's by Z

AVZ Should have resolved this issue one way or another last September instead of ignoring it.

I invested big in this company believing the new Govt was legit and transparent in its dealings. It now seems I was wrong.

I can now understand why AVZ struggles to get a non Chinese Investor/partner on board like EU or USA.

Hoping the right outcome is delivered soon rather than later.

I'm also miffed this was not addressed by the board and the extra 15% was allowed to drag, it has allowed for Zijin (get in the bin) to play dirty.
Also if we were in discussions with the Govt, surely the Govt are royally pissed off the rug has been pulled on them.
Why hasn't the government made an announcement in relation to this ?

This in my eyes is an important moment for the DRC Govt. Felix was supposed to usher in a new transparency and reform the country, this whole battery manufacturing push they are making will probably fall on its face without global investment (not just china).

Completely agree, AVZ should have nipped this in the bud ages ago, but at the same time, why wasnt Zijin crying from the roof tops from the getko if they felt injustice , rather than dropping the bomb just prior to ML being approved ?

Why didnt the DRC cry foul alot earlier ?

My understanding is Zijin paid $33m and commiere have spent nearly $7m on gifts.

Yet the overall population is impoverished.

Ok, maybe i was wrong then , maybe i have brain poo fog, but i certainly read that what ever was paid ( alot more than $5m ) ......was spent and it wasnt for the benefit of the DRC people.

Zijin claiming all this BS for a measly $5m ?

Poo metre is off the scale here, I am not sure what the total spend AVZ have committed to get this project where it is but its exponential compared to that scum bag coy.

I am getting a bit ratty now, need to get on the tools to calm the vent.

It almost feels like with the ML about to be granted, you could finally gently cup your balls and with huge relief slowly lift them up and out from the drawer that has been menacingly threatening to slam shut for years now. Sometimes that draw has had a big hairy sweaty hand on it and has looked like some sadistic bastard was about to slam it shut slowly moving it back an forth, but so far every time it looks perilously close we have heard a calming voice as we look over our shoulder, its Nigel.
He arrives places a hand on shoulder playfully comments on our dishevelled state as he proceeds to carefully and with precision shave our haggard and weary balls, thoughtfully placing a hot towel on them and removing the menacing hand from the drawer we feel intimately safer. He then produces from what seems like nowhere a moisturising cream to rejuvenate our fatigued war-torn family jewels, much better you say out loud, but he has already gone......however we realise we are still standing here still with balls in the drawer ffs, but they do feel great, I must ask him where he gets that moisturising cream from.

Once again a hand is on the drawer, vexatiously threatening once more to slam it shut. "Nigel, Nigel where are you I shout...."

Maybe that is the date that AVZ will decide whether to proceed with the case?

All it is currently is a request?

I'd he thinking AVZ are in very close consultation with lawyers etc to ensure they can either fob them off, or attend and win?
