*****Flash Back Tuesday****** AUGUST 2024

"Matza met with Cominière to reiterate the US position on Manono lithium: the dispute with $AVZ must be resolved quickly and the US is counting on Kinshasa to do so ."

"Matza also delivered a new message to DRC officials: the US wants Manono lithium to be transported via the #LobitoCorridor once a mine is operational."
Got a link to that second comment?

Can you Vote for resolutions online with Automic? Because the Proxy Voting form AVZ have provided in the AGM announcement is no use as it is a SAMPLE ONLY copy.

I had a brief scan of Automic but couldn't see it anywhere to vote.

..............

Nevermind. Found it

Only 3 sleeps to go (well, 4 sleeps if I count a work budget meeting on Thursday) until AGM.
Can't wait for the excellent update immediately afterwards from Beish answering all our questions.
No pressure, Beish! :)

And if anyone sees the FatTail arseholes there, tell 'em "Get Fucked" from me on behalf of John25.

Anyhoo, back to twiddling my thumbs waiting for news, an Auditor's Report, Financials.......anything really.

I don’t have any forms on Automic for the AGM. But I voted via the email AVZ sent. My Automic account has 0 AVZ shares in it. Last transaction was on 20 May 2024. Off top of my head that was the delisting transaction.

Last document I got from AZV on Automic was a 2023 AGM notice. I assume I’ve fucked up somewhere and didn’t update the register post delisting…

No documents under the meetings tab.

If so, anyone got an idea on how to sort this out?

I'd contact AVZ.
We were sent a new SRN.
WIth that you enter in into Automic and your shares show up under the new number.
Check your contact details are up to date.

You would have received a notice of delisting from AVZ showing the amount of shares you hold and to state the shares are now issuer held. There will be an SRN number on there. Use that number to register your holding on Automic and it will update your portfolio to reflect that.

Thanks all. Really appreciate it. I reached out to AVZ via the ‘contact us’ page so hopefully it can be sorted. No idea where that letter is and most likely was posted to my old address. I’m a tad slow it seems.

I'd go directly to Automic and get them to sort it this morning, as today is the last day to do proxy voting, otherwise attend in person at the AGM is only other choice - and don't forget to take popcorn, poppers and boxing gloves

It was Jens reply to this tweet from Cominiere. The meeting where the representatives of the US Partnership Global Infrastructure and Investment were eyeballing Kibeya and the dickhead couldn’t look them in the eyes 👇

Good to see the shareholders above showing support for other shareholders here

Since our shareholders relentless exposing of the corruption in the DRC, now the US has started to apply pressure on the DRC

Helaina Matza of the US Partnership Global Infrastructure and Investment group previously visited the DRC and expressed the USA’s interest in Manono and now Lucy Tamlyn (US Ambassador to the DRC) posted on X that the DRC’s reputation scares away investors👇

The US Partnership Global Infrastructure and Investment group’s plan for the Lobito corridor is the USA’s alternative to China’s Belt and Road initiative and the US has already mobilised over $4 billion on the Lobito corridor of a $600 billion investment planned for closing gaps in infrastructure in emerging markets

The $4 billion already mobilised was to build infrastructure for the Lobito corridor to support locals and to ship critical minerals from the DRC to the US. KoBold has has also been sniffing around the Lobito corridor👇

Now, just for a little added pressure on the DRC government, COP29 has announced the DRC will not receive any major funding👇

The above might be worth considering and so might questions to Nigel in private about any communications he has had with Helaina Matza and private meetings he had in the US with US officials as well as meetings in Belgium and France that the DRC Minister of Mines denied took place. Maybe even ask about Nigel getting stuck at an airport over there for hours because the DRC mining representatives fucked him around

Can anyone offer any information with regards to the significance of voting for these 2 resolutions ie the re-election of Rhett Brans and Salome Sijaona ? Given that SMEGMA and there Chinese backers did not put forward a resolution re the 2nd strike it all seems kinda pointless
