Felix is adamant he wants Zijin to "have the north"
or
Felix is adamant he wants Zijin to "have the north for free"

Zijin can have the north.
They just have to fking pay for it.
(Pay US that is, not just pay off some corrupt locals).
Unfortunately, they've already paid Felix and his cronies. AVZ is not in their calculations in any positive way.

We have been waiting more than two years for a resolution, now we are so near to a final outcome it's pointless bickering over something we have no control over.

Going to give Geo the benefit of the doubt, his last posts in March ended up being accurate and has always seemed to have good intentions.

EarleofBarrow,

No - the conversation might grind your gears but its very relevant.

The dynamics of American politics are critically relevant to the situation unfolding in the DRC. As the saying goes, “My enemy’s enemy is my friend.” While Trump’s focus is primarily on America, he understands the necessity of countering China's influence over the Lithium Spot Market. As a businessman rather than a traditional politician, his approach is rooted in strategic interests.

It’s vital for America to ensure that neither Sin Bin nor China—essentially two sides of the same coin—gain control or exert influence over this critical market to the detriment of American interests.

As Thomas Jefferson wisely noted, “The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” We must remain aware of these geopolitical shifts and their implications.

Geo,

You are absolutely correct.

Some people on here do the work for our enemy and dont realise it.

Lets remain optimistic and wait for outcomes.

How often and in what capacity do you think the company is updating US officials and or Aus?

Rather than me do the work for you - go check previous posts on here and check your twitter feeds.

Yes I fully agree with the impact Trump can have on the DRC and am hopeful for a positive outcome.
With all the mis information and dis information and the silencing of free speech in the world I do not think the AVZ Discussion thread is were we should be discussing

Totally agree however
I do not want this discussion forum on AVZ falling into a Trump/Harris love/ hate fest based on their personalities or policies.

Go AVZ!
I'm ignoring every fucking BS "in the know" post and will continue to wait for an "official company announcement" from AVZ Minerals management

The rest is either posturing, bullshit, vanity, insider trading or at it's worst false hope and just totally disrespectful to the tens of thousands of AVZ shareholders who have been doing it tough for fucking years

For me, (and I have not heard from any contacts for fucking ages, and haven’t asked anyone for anything since the invitation to have a fireside chat with Nige) the most obvious way out of this shit is for AVZ to find a buyer for RD, acceptable to DRC, with them holding their 25%, yes, Cominiere keep the 15% ‘handed’ back by Z for their illegal swap into 15575, Z pays us a decent price for adjusted CDL, Cong might get a few extra pennies, the ML is irrevocably issued as part of the deal, court cases are dropped, the 30% tax for the asset sale is waived, and we all ride off into the fucking sunset with $3 per share

Waddayathink?

Edit: I have had a few Margaritas

So near to a final outcome? Last I heard, the DRC Govt are no longer wanting to meet with us, Felix was paid $100m by the Chinese for last election, he’s wanting to change the constitution to rule for life and avoid any future prosecution. Sounds like the making of a true dictator. Not sure where you’re getting your info from, but anything short of full ICSID will be a miracle.

I wouldn’t be telling people a final outcome is a few weeks away, if this is news to you. You’ve made some correct calls in the past, so assuming you have good contacts. Verify my info with them.
