Art of the deal baby

They will probably try use that as a bargaining chip at some point if they can't make us run out of funds or replace Nigel with a stooge that will sell us out for peanuts

Management have been very clear in official announcements that they are willing to negotiate a compromise and Nigel even said in an interview if Felix is adamant that he wants Zijin to have the north it is something the bod are willing to sit down and talk about

My pessimism about timelines is only IF we need to go the distance

I just think we are better off hoping for the best but being mentally prepared for the worst case scenario of endless games like we have seen so far
Hi carlos,

I may be wrong, but, I thought some time ago you said you had like 5k or 10k invested in avz?

If so, bloody hard to cop hearing don't have boistrous hopium.... its much easier to say when you've only invested much smaller amount than plenty on here.

Again, I could be wrong and it wasn't you that said that. Apologies for confusion if so.... please clear the air on that and I'll stop grinding my teeth every time you write it...

Hard topic to question while trying not to be perceived as a smart arse or douche. Completely not my intention....

It really doesnt matter knowing how much anyone has invested with AVZ, we are all on this journey together no matter what.....everyone is paying a price, some more than others.

I understand that, and to be honest don't care what they've invested, was just being truthful.. it grinds my gears a bit hearing it constantly.... there's a bit of "if you were in those people's shoes" feeling to it for me....

As I said, I may have it wrong might not have even been carlos that stated it...

Mate, this whole sordid affair reading and understanding the lengths organizations will go to steal from their common man / woman grinds my gears........period.

Its exhausting.

Hang in brother, hoping all of us can catch a break and be rid of the misery.

Trump most likely going to win, is an asshole and will have a very hardline approach with Africa - I wouldn’t vote for him but he will hold these thieves pricks to account way quicker than Biden’s pussy ass

Hi Carlos, thanks for your reply. That's what I am thinking. It's a game and deal will be made. But you mentioned few times in your previous posts that you think that DRC will ignore final ICSID decision. So which option is more logical to you ? That DRC and Zijin will use ROCHE DURE or CDL as bargaining chip to make a deal or DRC will completely ignore ICSID decision and not make a deal with AVZ, but then we are again coming to a question, why they didn't take everything by now ?
Nigel said management would talk about it. Not agree to whatever is offered. If a deal isn't struck the DRC government will play the long game and will ultimately ignore anything that doesn't result in China having direct control over at least the north imo

I have 15k invested but got in early so it was worth over a quarter of a million at last traded price. Around 400k at ath and worth millions at fair value. Sorry if it offends you that I think we need to be realistic about our situation. My first post was months after suspension as I'm not one to comment on trading stocks and the overall tone here and elsewhere from shareholders initially was it'll be sorted in a few weeks and not to worry. Which while may have been soothing to the ears didn't turn out that well imo

It was obviously implied.
anyway an article that details the sham cases against Trump is not evidence.
Good luck with getting the right treatment for your late stage Trump Derangement Syndrome

Hope is a dangerous thing for sure... but, there's clearly some punters that need hope also... you constantly blow out their candle...

I am lucky, it effects me, but, I have a really good business and it doesn't hurt me other than some time... but, there is some here all in... and in a fragile way that a bit of hope is actually a good thing for them...

I understand the courts will take time, but, that's if the usa and eu don't apply overbearing pressure on the drc... I personally think you're not giving that as big a chance as I feel it is.... in fact everyone on here having a bad day yesterday wasn't giving it much chance...

I don't think I constantly blow out their candle but you're entitled to your opinion

I do believe in the legal process and have spent a lot of time explaining the mining code and terms of our contracts so that people have a better understanding of the basis for which the cases are proceeding. Often times before the company eg the Dathcom JVA violations and the Dathomir SPA's being completed correctly. But our adverseries have so far played every trick in the book and I expect that continue.

Apart from the mental health toll that it causes from perpetual disappointment especially if someone is relying on funds tied up there is a danger in constant failed hopes. If people are continually let down by unfulfilled promises eg champagne at xmas or specific dates given at the roadshow for the licence being granted they may at some point turn on management and seek a resolution elsewhere even if that means accepting less than fair value for our asset imo

Fair enough carlos... just highlighting the flipside also... I do appreciate your efforts and those of anyone else fighting the cause and educating others... I'm Banking on usa, eu and g7 trumping our need for the courts.

We have been waiting more than two years for a resolution, now we are so near to a final outcome it's pointless bickering over something we have no control over.

If you're relying on hope to get you by then you're going to have an emotional rollercoaster given all the bullshit over the past two years and that IMO is definitely not healthy.

I've written this one off and taken on the emotional downside early and if we get anything out of it then it's now a bonus. For me that's much healthier than having a rollercoaster of emotions.

My opinion only. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome for everyone.

There’s plenty you should watch as well, starting with ‘The Fall of Minneapolis”

Here’s the link:

Might be a good break from watching The View and Joe Scarborough on MSNBC for you

I get you geo_au, but similar claims have been made many times over the last few years, that never came to pass, and you've made some of those claims yourself.

The amount of cancelled meetings, run arounds, false dawns is so astronomical, you'd think someone out there was playing with management all along, to keep stringing them along until... uh oh, administration!

Keep you hopes in check, just because management are led to believe a resolution is close, doesn't mean they aren't yet again getting played.
We all pray it's true this time of course, but the track record is grim as fuck mate.

The intel we recently recieved however, was very promising, with delegates from the US and DRC government both stating that the AVZ situation will/should be resolved soon.
But you have to admit that not even they are decision makers in this process, and are going on what they've been told. Which could all be part of the game being played by the chinese and those they've bribed in the DRC government.

Personaly I give this chance of a resolution.... 80% likely to be bullshit.
