The legal process will take many years . Delays would continue . Chinese playbook 1 o 1 .If the DRC can substantiate our 90% stake in Manono and provide us with ML, I believe Nigel will drop all court cases against the DRC.
It's unbelievable that CKK is still in power, possibly by presidential order. What is the true nature of Felix?
Why not simply remove CKK and allow the project to continue? When the ICC/ICSID rule in favor of AVZ, punitive action can still be taken against him.
Time is of the essence; this drawn-out situation is causing significant delays.
What I'd like to know is who is informing certain SH with BS with regards to this sh1t show being resolved ? It's been a recurring theme since suspension started .

For the first time in the history of the Mining Cadastre, after the implementation of Ordinance No. 23/007 of June 26, 2023 made public on August 1, 2023, appointing its new agents, it was held on 22 August 2023, the very first CAMI Board of Directors.
This meeting brought together all the directors under the chairmanship of the Honorable Crispin MBINDULE, Chairman of the Board of Directors. This first Council is of paramount importance in the management of the mining domain and the titles granted by the CAMI to which eyes are turned for the impact of its work on the increase in State revenue. This is in line with the vision of the Head of State, His Excellency Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO, as well as with the leadership of the LUKONDE II Government through the Minister of Mines, Ms. Antoinette NSAMBA KALAMBAYI.
As a reminder, the current committee was officially installed on August 9th.

Few months ago, our 1 million guy mentioned MOP will be removed, but she's still there.
And he mentioned Celestin should resign - now he is the DG of cominiere.

Since receiving $180m from Glencore, the Congolese government has not fulfilled its commitments to its legal team from the South African legal firm Centurion Law Group - which NJ Ayuk heads - and has - 8/21/2023
Oh that $180M oh no that's gone, been used to pay advanced dividends, to keep the lights on and to pay for snacks.

Victoria Coast on the crapper has advised that MoM has cancelled her trip down under, after she confirmed with the organizers. Don’t know if it’s true but she is still listed as presenting on the website. Anyone heard same? Not surprising if true. Was always on the cards if this crap wasn’t sorted by first week of September.

Feels like every time there’s some positivity or apparent progress some bs happens to dispel this. Positive rumours and AVZ meeting with CAMI, and then Celestin and Lissette are placed at head of Cominiere, and Cominiere meet with CAMI too.
AVZ still here and meeting with CAMI is very positive but not seeing any sign whatsoever of detractors being out (more like the opposite), or a near term resolution.
New DG of CAMI ‘expressed his enthusiasm for the prospects of future collaboration’ and ‘expressed his desire to get personally involved’. Well instead of ‘prospects of future collaboration’ what about actually collaborating now and getting involved now?
