AVZ Discussion 2022

Nigel is not going to let this trade. This is probably his last chance to milk some serious cash before retiring to the Bahamas.
I now believe this will stay in suspension until Zijin back off. Nigel is going to concede to something they never legally owned, the top shareholders & board will not negotiate ownership. I for one refuse to negotiate with my holding.

I'm curious to why we're not trading now, at the very least we're owed a new reason as to continued suspension you would think?
I will be shocked if we are not trading by Monday morning at the latest

Yes, it is not easy, they have in a way told us they want this thing moving along, so they must also show some willingness. We need to force the meeting, much more will get done in one meeting with the right people in the room.

We have been led to belive we are 'close' time and time again, I believe management were of that opinion too, we cant continue on like this with Nigel an Co in Perth and DRC Corrupt actors doing as they wish.

If we get CATH and MOM aswell as Felix and fucking hammer it home, we have a much better chance to force the whole bloody thing through.
Its just not getting done the way we are approaching it at the moment.
Don’t forget Felix is airborne most of the time in his new presidential plane, so he doesn’t have to wear his bullet proof vest, covered with a flack jacket.

If you want to see Felix you have to book with flight centre.

I’m ok not to be trading now. We opened tomorrow we would see 20c or less easily imo.
Let’s wait a little longer for clarification before we wish all our money away
I think 20c is a fair guesstimate.
And at that price, who do you think would be buying?
We'd be fucked.

If/when this shitshow of a stock ever trades again we will all have 2 options.....

Sell on the market ....or.....hold and continue to battle upstream in the barbed wire canoe

I think it's about fucking time we were given the choice

Still can't post without slipping in an expletive

So pissed off

Hi Wombat, I am a german. I heard it the same way as SChemozzel. Klaus stated, that from his knowledge all Licenses have been cancled and a new deal for _Roche Dure_ need to be agreed upon. He did not state CDL. May be he wanted to say CDL and mixed up with Roche dure.

Cheers

Granini
So we now know that Klaus' intel was pretty good.

I think back to some supposed chats that Der Geist posted somewhere (purportedly from Klaus) late 2021/early 2022 saying AVZ was losing control of the project and that relationship with Cominiere was not good.

Love him or hate him, gotta give him credit - he knows the DRC.

Yep mate I'm with you. One would hope. But trust me. I have lived and worked in Africa. Not DRC but East Africa.

Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Mozambique.

I've worked with the highest levels of Gov. And getting a meeting with them, even when they want something done, isn't as easy as it should be. Basically because they have so much shit going on and it's a fucking horror show.

Not saying that is the same for the DRC but all the evidence so far doesn't paint a better picture sadly.
Ok, so could Nigel not join him on his plane and have a discussion with him to then enlighten him on what's happening, so we can then arrange a meeting with involved parties.

So Zi
First right of refusal means AVZ should be able to buy at the exact same price offered to Zijin. But the valuation of 33m USD was incorrect according to the DFS completed by AVZ so 150m USD is what the eventual buyer will need to pay at minimum imo
So Zijin could offer in excess of $200 million and AVZ would need to match it and accept that price.
If it does not then it would loose the first right of refusal.

One would hope Zijin wouldn't be allowed to bid again considering they bribed people in an attempt to defraud the state out of 117m USD. But yes for them if allowed or for another potential bidder. AVZ would need to match the offer that Cominiere tells them they are willing to accept or would forfeit its first right of refusal.

Presumably AJN become the proxy for Zijin in that play.

(not that it's any of our business)

We'd be fucked.

Whoever wants to speculate on an advanced exploration ~2 billion ton African Lithium project. Even at 60% ownership (51% after cath 9% if it drops that low), the project economics are sound. If we have a 10Mtpa with FID.... thats worth something, the key is Nigel getting a deal done or getting clarification to what extent we have recourse or clout with "competent DRC government"... it is extremely unfavourable that AVZ has been caught blind by this when he/they seemed so confident before.

Very curious how NF will address shareholders on this... whats the AVZ email address to direct queries to?

Why only Zijin?
If CATH puts up its hand for the 15%, then this Zijin question will be very interesting, right?
CATH will get its 24% and AVZ could then buy back Dathomir's 15%.
End result - AVZ 66% and CATH 24%.

Lateral thinking. Do you think Nige is up to it?
Seems to me he's been sitting back waiting for things to happen to us.

While the reason for the suspension appears to be no longer valid, the latest announcement wanting to seek legal clarification on the decrees, likely allows it to stay in play. Which is a good thing.

Opening for trade now would be catastrophic, this is run for the hills, baked beans under the bed stuff.

Needs much more clarification to be announced.

28th Feb they will need to give the ASX and SH a good reason to stay suspended.

While I understand many may be keen to get their equity back, the people buying off you will likely be those causing all the troubles. Lots of buying under reporting thresholds by Overseas entities highly likely.

The company should be given the grace of at least a couple of weeks to work out where we are, and a plan forward.

Based Modo haha

But I think the ASX will want clarification sooner than that
