Re: Titan's post. My guess is that 'The One' he refers to is Pei and the 240 is the $240m agreed re: CATH agreement. Maybe Pei intends to meet with Felix next week or so face to face to help Nigel get ML across the line? Who knows? Maybe if FT sees a cheque made out to AVZ for $240m, he will see AVZ aren't mucking around
Possible, but crikey if he needs to see a cheque to realise AVZ aren't mucking around after us single-handedly getting Manono to the stage it is now after spending $100mil+ on developing it he is a bigger muppet than I take him for on evidence to date.

Pei is a big player though, carries more weight than Nigel. A heavy hand from Pei would be very much appreciated to get the ML across the line, surely Pei isn't overly impressed at the impasse either.

Go AVZ!
So this is what titan thinks from his latest post. Interesting he says at the end of the month.

It's interesting that titan64's previous 2 posts (prior to the current one) were moderated.

One for profanity and one for discussing moderation

Would have had to be reported by someone on the crapper thread

Someone there wants to shut titan's commentary down?

Very cryptic comments, putting out some big thoughts, I can't quite work titan64 out

Mmmmm......

Yeah I agree. I think the dodgy ministers were feeding FT incorrect info like they don't have funding and done nothing to date. So to have Pei rock up and give FT the green light in that respect in person may work. All just speculation on my part.

Faark me, crazy, hilarious posting today, havnt laughed this much in a long time!.........:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Cussing and cursing trolls, low ball TO, crazy ball TO, the fucking pope, .........its had it all.

Speaking of the pope ...............what does CATHOLICISM & DRC have in common ?

Corruption.

A match made in heaven or hell.

George Pell being laid to rest this week...........i am a atheist, so dont believe in heaven or hell, but if i did, then the appropriate hell hole for that pedo prick, would be 6 foot under the northern section of CDL, with AJN & ZIJIN fighting to sift out his bones with the high mica content.........;)

Right Nige ?

During the Perth RS, Nigel did mention that Catholic church supports AVZ.
From memory, Catholic church didn't support Felix during election, but still he got through.

With pope in the country supporting president's policy on corruption, the church in the country will have no option but support Felix in the next election. Felix will be stronger after this event, I think.
Corruption is rooted there, so it will take time to reduce it. So, I don't expect AVZ to get everything the shareholders wish for. Zijin is a major miner there and I don't think President will completely ignore them. It is classic delaying tactics in play: Zijin's claim on 15%, MMCS 5%, Dathomir asking more money for the other 15%, Mupande's inability to calculate surface rights, etc. At some stage, there will be a negotiated deal, I think. I think AVZ will be forced/allowed to sell the northern segment to Zigin. I was wondering why the four rigs are drilling only in RD, but not in CDL. If we are drilling in CDL and estimate the resources, then the selling price will definitely go up, which all the other parties wanted to avoid, I guess. If this happens, it is going to be a good deal, as we get enough money to develop RD. DRC would like two different players developing the Li asset. I think the delay is to make the AVZ shareholders to agree to a deal.
Legal cases will take very long to complete, and not in the best interest of both DRC and AVZ.
My opinions only.
What? Just give CDL to them, it is legally ours and only after $100m of R & D do they come to steal it! Naah! They would offer us a fraction of it's value!

I said in one of my first posts here that I want to hold until dividends but if we are being played then I am open to a takeover. You will be hard pressed to find someone as optimistic as me about the DRC government. I think I've done the lion's share of preventing this forum from turning into a daily 2 minutes of hate against Felix in recent months.

But if we don't see any action after the government reshuffle and Felix doesn't intervene then we need to sell before the election as our situation will only get worse. I think my takeover talk has been realistic but you guys are entitled to your opinion. Talk of a $10 takeover is completely ludicrous at this stage and if the licence is finally registered in the imminent future then we will be going mining and not selling the project any time soon because we are not speculators like that parasite Klaus.

Basically what I've been saying as well . If Felix doesn't act then it's Plan B . We don't have until the end of the year .I was told the decision on the ML is close . Not the ML , but a 'Decision' on the ML . Now I would say if the necessary changes are not made within the DRC gov in the very near future then that in of itself is a Decision not to award the ML .

“Hands off the Democratic Republic of the Congo! Hands off Africa!” Francis said to applause in his opening speech to Congolese government authorities and the diplomatic corps in the garden of Kinshasa’s national palace.

“Stop choking Africa: It is not a mine to be stripped or a terrain to be plundered,” said history’s first Latin American pope, who has long railed at how wealthy countries have exploited the resources of poorer ones for their own profit.

This is a pretty big thing and very strong words in a country where:
The Democratic Republic of the Congo stands out as the African country with most Catholics hands down: half of its 105 million people are Catholic, it counts more than 6000 priests, 10,000 nuns and more than 4000 seminarians — 3.6 per cent of the global total of young men studying for the priesthood.
Hands off Africa but let my churches and priests get their hands right up your....

Agreed mate you have done more than your fair share on this forum against turning it into a HC-fest 👏

With the TO talk- At this stage $10 is ludicrous, not in the future though, like tomorrow. 😉😂
90 cents TO talk is equally as ludicrous as $10, infact arguably more ludicrous the way things stand and are looking from the outside with all the facts and movements considered.

I was just replying to say thanks for your input, greatly appreciate it.
At the start I had suspicions that you were one of Der Giests many characters, but couldn't give a shit now if you are, you're my fav character.

Sell to Ivanhoe (that's a terrible name, its like a dodgy 90's Russian Rappers name isn't really I've-an-ho), anyway yes that would be more palatable that selling to the shit that wallows in the depths of the scummiest pond known as Zijin.
As long as they'd buy for $10 a share.

90c is arguably more ludicrous than 10$ the way things stands and with all facts and movements considered?? I hope you aren't serious because if so you are delusional. You think a 35b+ offer is more likely than 90c for a company that doesn't know if it'll even be able to get a licence, with less than a year of cash in the bank and with ICC cases undoubtedly going to extend beyond a year, all in a year when there's a major national elections?

🤦‍♂️ I know people like to be negative but come on,

"90 cents TO talk is equally as ludicrous as $10, infact arguably more ludicrous the way things stand and are looking from the outside with all the facts and movements considered."

I.E

We hold a good position, a reshuffle of ministers ANNOUNCED so on its way(slowly I know), Felix stance on corruption ANNOUNCED many times, IGF Jules talking about Cominieres crimes via corruption, IFG report, Our advisors over there having got through to Felix (final assult), We have ML Decree, all signs are essentially pointing to ML being given to US. All signs with ICC are greatly in favour of US. Therefore 90cents TO being accepted by BOD with ML on its way, likelihood........next to fuck all.

Likelihood of us building a mine, expanding, PLS, JV in Hydroxide plant, expand again into CDL, JV in battery plant possibly, left field anns, being the boss at the top of the pile at a time lithium is roaring --- likelihood of $35b, In an EV & ESS revolution.

I'm no expert but I can tell you a lot likelier than 90c - "The way we stand, with all the facts and movements considered"

Also, we have the $50mil credit facility that it looks like we will be using. So much much longer cash burn than a year, the drilling will be done and cash burn down before then too.

Major national elections? Why does this automatically mean Felix is out ?
The yanks are behind Felix, so are the Catholics, so are many others. Only the crooks that Kabila fed are behind him, and if you haven't noticed they are being thrown out of cabinets and also thrown into jail.

We will get the ML, we have the $$ to wait it out until the ICC decisions that will obviously be in our favour so at this point, sooner or later we will go mining.

We weren't talking about being worth 35 billion in 5 or 10yrs should we build a mine, expand, get a JV in a Hydroxide plant, expand again into CDL, JV in battery plant possibly and be the boss at the top of the pile at a time lithium is roaring. We were talking about a 35B takeover, you know as opposed to one for 90c or whatever if the Chinese manage to grind us down in the the case that the ML doesnt appear on the way. Sure the board wouldn't look at that now, but 1.5$ or so if things don't play out the way we hope and things could be different...

And maybe you're seeing things I'm not but let's have a look at your points there showing all the signs being pointed to us receiving our ML

We hold a good position - well we've held the same good position for the some time with no ostensible change in our circumstances

a reshuffle of ministers ANNOUNCED so on its way(slowly I know) - it would be good to see the green mamba go for sure if that doesn't turn out to be the case. Its not occured yet. But is she the main sticking point in any case? This isn't a shuffle of departments that would oust old mate JPW, for the third time anyway, who management essentially admitted was the roadblock

Felix stance on corruption ANNOUNCED many times - yes and what's come of that? Several high profile court cases when unavoidable, with them either being freed or declared not guilty. Might see a more of a push on this front as voting approaches for optics though perhaps

IGF Jules talking about Cominieres crimes via corruption - yes this is good. If only IGF had powers to prosecute rather than just send a report in to a corrupt judiciary

Our advisors over there having got through to Felix (final assult) - really? Sure our MD said he backs us now after previous disinformation but have we seen anything to suggest he does indeed support us? Nada

We have ML Decree - yes a Decree that enshrines the illegal split of our tenement, and the release of which began our 10 month suspension several days after

where are all the signs you stated that are essentially pointing to ML being given?

"Major national elections? Why does this automatically mean Felix is out ?" - where did I say it did? But any election is a risk factor, especially when corruption is so rife. Wouldn't only be them too, Chinese would prefer Kabila also. Honestly though I think FT will win, I'm just suggesting we wouldn't particularly want to be without a ML and several of our ICC cases yet to be wrapped up whilst going into something which could plausibly go another way than we would like.

I still feel we will get the ML, and likely in the not too distant future, but I think a TO attempt is in the makings in the meantime. I think in 6 months time if we haven't ironed out our issues such a circumstance may begin to look more appealing, and that a realistic figure would be more likely.

Apolgies for the response anyway, i just don't like someone facepalming me for not accepting their always positive viewpoint, and suggest someones a negative fool for thinking a 35b takeover was less likely "The ways things stand" than one at 5b or so.

Let's be balanced 😌
Viva la ML so we can put all this shit to bed

Well said mate . I have no doubt Nigel will pull the rip cord on our safety parachute if nothing changes in the coming months . 50 million shares x 80c/ $1 / $1.50 is still a lot of money for him and better than sh1t sandwich for the AVZ team and SH . We can hope it's above ATH SP at least . IMO
