During the Perth RS, Nigel did mention that Catholic church supports AVZ.
From memory, Catholic church didn't support Felix during election, but still he got through.

With pope in the country supporting president's policy on corruption, the church in the country will have no option but support Felix in the next election. Felix will be stronger after this event, I think.
Corruption is rooted there, so it will take time to reduce it. So, I don't expect AVZ to get everything the shareholders wish for. Zijin is a major miner there and I don't think President will completely ignore them. It is classic delaying tactics in play: Zijin's claim on 15%, MMCS 5%, Dathomir asking more money for the other 15%, Mupande's inability to calculate surface rights, etc. At some stage, there will be a negotiated deal, I think. I think AVZ will be forced/allowed to sell the northern segment to Zigin. I was wondering why the four rigs are drilling only in RD, but not in CDL. If we are drilling in CDL and estimate the resources, then the selling price will definitely go up, which all the other parties wanted to avoid, I guess. If this happens, it is going to be a good deal, as we get enough money to develop RD. DRC would like two different players developing the Li asset. I think the delay is to make the AVZ shareholders to agree to a deal.
Legal cases will take very long to complete, and not in the best interest of both DRC and AVZ.
My opinions only.
