Nigel himself said at the very least we will have 51% . So he himself expects this could be the outcome . AVZ 51% , CATH 24% , Zijin 15% , DRC 10% . This has always been a real possibility . Zijin will have to pay up for construction /infrastructure. It's a 1 Billion Tonnes plus FFS . Lets just get the ML and move on . Oh and then accept a beautiful TO offer if it comes .

If Zijin get the 15% I don't think the DRC gov would be too pleased if they stall the project any longer . What about Cath and their 24% . Don't think they will be too pleased either . Zijin has a JV with Ivanhoe that works . If AVZ have the controlling 51% they can start developing the project regardless .My concern is more with Cong and the CAMI prick.

Well then the DRC can kiss their battery industry goodbye if that type of shit is allowed to stall the project. Can't imagine CATL or the DRC government would tolerate that behaviour for very long. There is no chance other investors will go near the DRC if that is the type of 'business climate' that is allowed after we poured in millions of dollars to prove the resource.

Today's announcement points to us being no closer to having a resolution to the voluntary suspension after more than enough extensions for management to sort out the issues in a reasonable timeframe. Hopefully the roadshows are because they have a trick up their sleeve or the ASX has given them the wind up.

Either way this stock needs to trade ASAP. It is making a mockery of how the market should work and is just management trying to avoid the share price going down because they over promised and under delivered. They need to feel the heat from shareholders that are losing money because of their actions. At least it would give an opportunity for those without enough shares to get invited to the exclusive roadshow a chance to top up.

With investor confidence so far down the drain, it's hard to imagine whats going to stop this from getting ravaged when it opens. No doubt will be an over reaction but its going to take some god tier news to prevent a sell off. I'd say thats all these roadshows are. AVZ likely will need to resume trading, and want to settle investors before that. Sadly don't think theres going to be any great news related to the roadshows anymore. Would love to be wrong.
I think we are all a little guilty of having the wool pulled over our eyes. Thousands of investors will be absolutely done with DRC investments.

Yes investor confidence is shot there is no way of hiding that. I cannot believe these guys would be so out of touch as to arrive at a roadshow with promises and think we will swallow that tired old shite they have been repeating for years now. I’m expecting some positive news, when does ol Felix get back from spruiking the DRC ? That could be an interesting time ?

It does seem to me like this is what happened though. Surely AVZ was aware through its local contacts and law team that Dathomir was awarded the tribunal decision. It also seems to me like they were planning to sweep it under the rug and not mention it, like they did with the last tribunal decision and like they seem to have done with everything that doesn't suit our interests (e.g Zijin) until their hands were forced. This announcement really appears thrown together around limited facts and at a strange time remove from the things it's detailing - like they have been questioned about it and thought well okay now we have to inform the market- which ties in perfectly with what Tommy says about this only happening after AFR questioned AVZ about the tribunal results.

It really isn't a good look IMO, and reinforces my concerns about the company's disclosure track record. Which really is woeful given any critical examination of the earlier timeline on Dathomir and Zijin issues.
