One Happy Camper
Are we really going to allow ourselves to descend into one line ’doom and gloom’ statements here? God I hope not… So far we’ve proven to be better than that.

Thus, the COMINIERE invites him to stop his campaign of disinformation and manipulation, which she has also undertaken for some time.

Translation: Please stop exposing our trail of corruption and back door affiliation with the thieving Chinese, and our diet!!;)

While we are waiting for this charade to play out can anybody elaborate on the following.
At the last investors presentation in Perth Nigel explained to us that once the decree was issued by the MoM they had basically 30 days to issue the licence. If not issued in that time AVZ could commence proceedings via courts and licence HAD to be issued.
Obviously this was not his preferred course of action, but is it realistic or was he just blowing hot air?

Food for thought on the Road to Mining Manono

Frank :(

You beat me to the punch regards to Soloman Islands..........very scary development indeed !!

China providing a slush fund to ensure corrupt Prime minister Manasseh Sogavare survives a " NO CONFIDENCE " spill is yet another ploy to take advantage of a poor countries resource, namely their wharf / port to ultimately set up a military base.

Its a common theme right around the world , their ultimate goal is to take advantage of poor countries vast resources / infrastructure under the guise of " BELT & ROAD " programmes to ultimately control not only the supply in the mineral sector but to also control the fishery sector , the tech sector via theft of IP from the US primarily and to challenge the US vast military bases around the world, to control the passage of the sea and supply and ultimately, world domination with a little help from their friend Russia and other recalcitrant countries like North Korea etc

You only have to look at the SOUTH CHINA sea development and the man made military bases created on little islands that dont belong to them, to get a small picture frame of their intentions.

Control, control, control at any means necessary is the buzz word for China state Govt and that is what we are witnessing with the tug of war with AVZ MANONO............theft via corrupt DRC officials, holding the govt by ransom, probably threatening them to pay up for the " BELT & ROAD " programs that the DRC / Africa is trapped in if they dont get control of ROCHE DURE & CDL.

I for one will not be selling out of AVZ , i will be fighting like hell , not only for my own future financial aspirations, but for the future of the common folk of DRC and the future of our planet and give a BIG FUCK YOU to China state.👊🖕:ninja:(y)

However, i might have to revise that plan if Felix loses the next election in 2023........;)

Finally, what this SHIT SHOW has taught me rather painfully, is that i will never invest in another coy that exists in severe SOVEREIGN risk countries like DRC / Africa ever again...........lesson learnt.

We live in a very sad, challenging world atm ................dog eat dog , survival of the fittest.

Just a reminder from Nigel .
"The Company remains confident of a positive outcome" 15/7.
"Despite these challenges, we remain confident of a positive outcome for our shareholders" 29/07 .

I think we can safely assume he knows more about what's going on than we do .

Judge Anne Marie, and dismissed by the Kabila regime for 13 years for having refused to carry out the orders of the Kabila power on the trials of convenience. The judge has just been rehabilitated by the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi, thus the joy of her family.

That was on 6th may, I doubt the 27000th case is AVZ. We're not that special, or are we? 🤣
AVZ Manono..........the largest , superlative strip ratio deposit that engulfs the collective size of all the other deposits world wide and could single handedly supply the worlds lithium demand for decades to come, .............

AVZ bubble chart.gif

Yes, i reckon we are special !

China needs to be taught a lesson, corrupt DRC officials need to be taught a lesson, that the practices of yester year can no longer be tolerated in the current and future ,what better way to do that than via the highest court in the world with a vast audience looking on ?

I can tell ya, i will be looking on with great interest as i am sure the rest of the long termers will be too !

If indeed the statement is true and correct........." Zijin case is devoid of facts and spurious in nature ", which is also backed up by the IGF report, then i look forward to the KARMA bells ringing loud and clear.

*To add,

Even if every lithium project comes online we could still have a 2 million tonne deficit by 2030, S&P says

S&P Global says that even if every lithium project around the world was to come online by 2030 there is still going to be a 220,000t gap minimum in demand in 2030.

In fact, they said it could be as a high as a 2 million tonne gap.

While hard-rock assets will keep accounting for most of the lithium output in the future, all production routes, even those which have never operated at a commercial scale (we’re looking at you direct lithium extraction, clay-based and geothermal lithium) will be necessary to mitigate the increasing supply deficit.

This is because it could take almost a decade for a mining project to reach capacity – after its already spent the best part of a decade getting up and running.

“Within the product base, there will be limited integrated hydroxide capacity, meaning converters will keep playing an essential role into the future,” S&P said.

Tesla inks battery materials deals with two China suppliers

Tesla Inc. has signed new long-term deals with two of its existing Chinese battery-materials suppliers, the latest move by automakers to secure supplies amid intensifying competition.
blank.gif

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co. and CNGR Advanced Material Co. signed pricing agreements with the electric-vehicle giant for supplies until the middle of this decade, according to separate stock-exchange statements from the companies.

The deals are for ternary precursor materials — chemical cocktails that are key to storing energy in lithium-ion batteries.

The announcements come as major automakers look to scoop up battery metals in the face of a looming shortage.

General Motors Co. unveiled deals to buy inputs ranging from lithium to cathode materials last week, shortly after Ford Motor Co. revealed a list of suppliers with raw materials including Argentinean lithium and Indonesian nickel.

Huayou Cobalt will supply the materials to Tesla from July 1, 2022 to the end of 2025.

The miner said the prices of the products will be subject to market prices for nickel, cobalt and manganese, as well as refining fees. CNGR will supply the EV automaker between 2023 and 2025.

The transition to cleaner energy is boosting demand for battery ingredients, while supply has been hampered by Covid-related logistical woes and a lack of investment.

That’s pushing up the prices of the raw materials and is denting profitability for some carmakers.

Both Huayou and CNGR were among a list of direct suppliers named by Tesla in its 2021 annual impact report.

CNGR said in its statement that it supplied Tesla from 2020 until this year.

WELCOME ALL !!

I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate what @JAG had to say a few posts ago.............TSE is not HOT CRAPPER, this is a well informed group of posters who share high class intel but also like to be a bit liberal with our language and share some light hearted moments ( gif humour, occasional girly / male pics etc ) to break up the monotony of these current challenging / frustrating times, as we await crucial outcomes to allow AVZ to get back to the trading table...........it could be a while.....lol

We mean no disrespect in any way, however , if you dont appreciate the light hearted moments just ignore and scroll to posts that are more pertinent to AVZ cause, but please dont complain, it may fall on deaf ears......;)

Onwards and upwards.

Has anyone been able to find evidence of local Kinshasa/DRC news articles written by the journalists that were recently hosted by AVZ ??? Makes me wonder if they have the info they need to enable them to write some decent articles (soon🤞) post the ML being awarded. 🤔

*I can't find much, if any in the way of Positive articles out there after that meeting, just more BS being thrown at AVZ atm

Dossier Cominière and AVZ minerals: forgotten social projects

In January 2017, La Cominière and AVZ signed an agreement.

The share capital of Dathcom S.A was as follows: La Cominière 25%, AVZ Minerals 65%, and Dathcom 10%.

La Cominière then ceded 5% to AVZ to remain with 25%.

In the process, AVZ, a company listed on the Melbourne Stock Exchange, raised the funds in Australia.

However, voices are being raised to denounce the vagueness of the amount of funds raised and their allocation.

This is to say that everything would have happened without the knowledge of the Cominière.

In the meantime, complaints from the populations are pouring out to denounce the non-respect of the clauses signed between Cominière with the company Dathcom Mining S.A. Construction of roads, a hydroelectric dam and a residential camp, nothing is visible.

Within the framework of the exploitation of minerals, specifically lithium in Manono, in Tanganyika, the local population raises the tone to denounce the non-respect of the clauses, in particular on the contract between the company AVZ Minerals and the company Dathcom Mining S.A. , created by two shareholders, namely Cominière and Dathomir. Each holding, respectively, 30 and 70% of the shares.

From this contract that has linked the Australian firm AVZ to the Congolese state for 5 years, local civil society denounces the neglect of social projects intended to benefit communities.

Basically, we note that it is the non-compliance with this contract that led the Cominière into the situation of cessation of operation.

Projects in oblivion!

As a reminder, it was a question of building roads, a hydroelectric dam and a residential camp.

Already, in the construction project of the camp, denunciations of overcharging have been made, with the cost presented at 2 million dollars.

And on the government side, Cominière wants to ensure that the requirement, moreover, included in the contract, which provides that the AVZ partner submits the feasibility studies to Cominière for its favorable opinion, is respected.

This has never been done to this day, not to mention the complication which is amplified by the fact that today, AVZ continues to hold board meetings to which La Cominière is not invited.

In the field, five years later, the project remained in a research phase to the detriment of local populations who hoped so much to benefit from mining.

In the process, La Cominière was contacted by the Chinese company Zijin, which was eyeing a project called Manono-Kitotolo.

Thanks to a world-class lithium deposit, Cominière was counting on the project, but compliance with the clauses by the shareholders posed a problem and AVZ would have preferred to obstruct this project with opacity in fundraising operations.

Dispute of the Cominière

La Cominière also expressed its indignation about the subcontracting contracts of 500,000 USD which were signed without the approval of the partners.

In the understanding of La Cominière, who castigates this attitude, once the feasibility study is ready, it should give its favorable opinion for formalities in the mining cadastre with a view to transforming PR 13359 into a PE and to add, the feasibility study sent to Cominière contains an assertion that makes it inadmissible.

In this study, AVZ claims to have recovered the hydroelectric power station of Mpiana Mwanga, whereas it is a heritage of the Congolese State via the Cominière.

According to the results of the investigation, AVZ has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Energy for the rehabilitation of this plant by skipping the owner who is Cominière.

In this confusion, accusations are crossed when the Cominière evokes cheating which exposes AVZ to prosecution.

And the latter, in turn, accuses the Cominière of violating the agreements and the statutes of the company.

In this confusion, it is the local population who are really left behind.

Maybe they should put out an article detailing what exactly all these Chinese companies have done social projects wise for the last few decades in the DRC, sweet fuck all in comparison to what's been raped resource wise I'm willing to bet!
The cheek of it to say AVZ has done nothing, they are shitting themselves as when the ML comes through they will see what an ACTUAL social commitment to the DRC population looks like and show them for the dirty theives they really are! All imo of course.
