Then what amount of money would you spend to see it all the way , could be at least 1 or more years and still DRC will never abide by a court decision in my or your lifetime ,

Who knows how long this will take to finalise - I am not going to give up my investment without a fight and are happy to see this through to the bitter end - I dont see it taking years.

It should also be said that this has cost me tremendously and I cannot afford to wear any loss. With this in mind, if I was asked to put my hand in my pocket I would consider doing so.

I dont see the ICSID and ICC taking years to settle and have every confidence in Nigel and the Board.

And no I am not going to say in this forum what I would contribute if asked to do so.

Regards,

SilentOne.

I wouldn't tell any people on an open forum what my plans are, but that is just me.

You might as well send an email to Zijin and cut the middle man out. 😇

TLH , I don't think anybody in their right mind would put up 1c towards a capital raise unless AVZ had the mining licence and the chinks were out of the picture , if Loche funding was taken off the table I would think something stinks , AVZ owes me money and lots of it we trusted everything they told us and was unable to get a straight answer at last AGM because of cheating non Australian greedy Cu6ts , but I will not put up anymore monet to still get nothing but heartache and disappointment , and how I feel about the greedy low life Australian pricks doing everything in their power to spread lies and misinformation I pray to Allah everyday for your financial demise .
Let's get one thing straight.

Avz does not owe you money.

You invested in the company, fully aware of risks of investing in a penny stock. Yes, I too invested knowing the risks, but not fully aware of expecting of the shit fuckery that has been faced this far.

So , no. Avz does not owe you money. The board has the due diligence to act on the best interest of the shareholders which , imo, they have been doing this far (based on their advisors)

Yes correct it was a penny stock when I invested , but tell the investors who paid over 80c up to $1.30 it was a penny stock and the thought a mining licence was secure , but then we can talk about sovereign risk . anyway let's see what brings in the future .

Haut-Uele: Suspension of activities of Chinese mining operators for environmental degradation in Faradje

The mining activities of Chinese operators in the territory of Faradje, Haut-Uélé province, have been suspended for environmental degradation, the ACP learned this Saturday, August 3, 2024, during a meeting of the provincial governor.

"I order the suspension of all mining operations of Chinese companies in the territory of Faradje until further notice.

This decision, taken after listening to the concerns of the inhabitants, responds to a series of serious violations of laws and regulations relating to the extraction of minerals," declared Jean Bakomito Gambu, during a popular meeting held in Makoro.

Suspended, for non-compliance and environmental degradation, all mining activities carried out by Chinese operators in the territory of Faradje, Haut-Uele province in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the ACP learned Saturday from a government source.

And to add: "I have summoned the managers of the mining cooperatives concerned to come to my office with all the required authorizations and the documents proving their compliance with legal and environmental obligations", he hammered

He also stressed the importance of this measure to protect the local ecosystem and ensure that all mining activity in the Haut-Uele province is carried out in compliance with the standards in force in accordance with the vision of the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.

All well and good @Frank, I highly doubt the Chinese will abide by this order.

If it turns out they respect this order, I'll eat my hat l.

Good announcement imo. But doesn't address the letter sent around etc. was there some truth to that, perhaps?

Probably the most significant update we have had since suspension of trading. Lots to unpack here and to read between the lines.

The entire problem in one sentence

From preliminary observations, it appears that the AVZ's claims, as formulated in the said project, are disadvantageous for the Republic where the defence team has recommended the continuation of the arbitration as long as AVZ does not diminish its ambitions.
