AVZ Discussion 2022

yep im over every single conference, roadshow, smack talk bs until this is sorted out, stop the bs parade, stop spending money on bs when you don't even know how much we own, concentrate solely on all this crazyness, and work out a way to prevent it going forward, or sell the lot to the highest bidder and run like fuk.

Just think while all these conferences, roadshows, tossers in houses of excellencies, fluffy announcements and the amount of money the gov and AVZ would have spent on travelling and talking shit up, for 6-12 months now in the background, we've had:

-Dathomir fighting us for 5-15% and draggin us to courts
-Cominiere selling off 15% to Zijin dirt cheap and taking bribes for snacks, and apparently we didnt counter offer in time WTAF...then AVZ attempting to fight them in local DRC courts
-Nige on the board with bloody AJN/Klaus who 100% has a jealous vendetta against AVZ after selling out, and now AJN/Klaus doing backdoor deals to get other land in the area, and now Nige quitting at AJN
-Add to that Klaus also now is at the helm of Tantalex who has tailings ON OUR LAND we'll be paying surface rights for.....but hang on ignore the portal and the 100 articles stating this as fact because apparently that's been sold now too, but don't look at the portal because that still says Minicom own the tailings...yes the same mob who Klaus and Cong got Kabila to kick out to get AVZ the land in the first place
-The portal just decreasing our PE after being told ML is for entire area,,,,without a word said on this either

Now baring in mind all of the above along with a whole host of other fraud/shenanigans(for crying out loud just two weeks ago I saw Felix signing some deal with Gertler, yes fucking Gertler who even the US had sanctions against for his fraud in the DRC, and has ties to the scum of the earth Mossad/Israeli intelligence) all this has been going on for the last 6-12months while management just relies on a government who has limited power to stop the corruption, so who on earth really thinks we are getting the news clarifying this has been cleared up in our favour tomorrow? or even in the next month or two? of course I hope we do and I still have some hope we'll be ok in time, but come on guys let's be realistic, what are the chances this is all cleared up in the next few months? my gut feel is 6-12months and in the mean time felix and Co. will remain silent and instead run around the world selling pipe dreams. Just like they have for the last year.

Right now(if not starting tomorrow) I'd assume management will be getting some pretty serious please explains from the ASX about how they hell they thought getting dragged into court rooms multiple times was not worthy of mentioning to the market, and I'd also assume management will say here look here's our share certificate showing 75% that has not been annulled so wth do you want us to do. ASX will then say hmmm, ok yep good 'ol Africa this is out of everyones control, good luck and good luck appeasing your shareholder who've you've kept in the dark

ffs please explain Nige, cos you're buried real deep right now my man, some may say 'ballsdeep'...so where's our bloody snaaaaaaaacks
Sounds like trolls and downrampers have cracked @ohreally let's wait to hear from AVZ first before cutting out wrists. Remember, unless AVZ are totally kicked out of this mine we're sitting on an extremely profitable project anywhere between 36-75% ownership.

I doubt it will be issued. However the problem with the ML is not the % ownership. There are multiple problems at the moment. An announcement today or tomorrow should clarify things.
So, will they leave the 'finalisation of ML and Exploration licenses' until last? i.e. would you think they will stay in suspension with a view to resolving the multiple other issues, beforehand?

Anyone read the 4th of May announcement? What do you think the following clarification mean?

'the Tribunal Decision is: • in respect of proceedings that have been pursued vexatiously and without foundation or merit, and to which neither AVZ nor AVZI is a party; '

There's just too much there mate...almost everyday for the last couple of months another new negative development that alludes to being treated like a mushroom investor(kept in the dark and fed bullshit, well fed the positive only as a planet of negative amasses in the background)

In saying everything I've said, I still believe everything Nige has said, I still have faith in Nige and AVZ, but I just don't have faith in the DRC itself, or the DRC legal system or any single department to set this right and then keep it 'right' for that matter, it's clear there's many in positions of power who are totally and utterly corrupt, then add a whole heap of ignorance and what seems to be unjustified national pride/ego in those departments as well.....Can we come out all good, sure, but what's the chances of that happening? 15-36%???

Could be due to DRC Mining week starting June 1st till the 3rd.

Although I'm not sure if AVZ have a stall?

The annual “rendez-vous” for mining players has expanded its reach and now offers a year-round digital engagement platform, connecting the mining community through a wide array of activities, including webinars, podcasts, online networking, and of course…our live event in Lubumbashi from 1-3 June 2022.

Engage directly with key stakeholders from the private and public sectors through our unique networking channels to meet new partners, source new customers or identify promising projects.

Electric battery industry to generate about 168 billion USD by 2030

In a report released a few hours ago, Global Data reports that battery industry revenue is expected to exceed US$168 billion by 2030, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) by 14%.

The report states that the market will be driven up by sales of lithium-ion batteries.

According to Global Data analyst Michael Orme, it is the Chinese battery manufacturer CATL that today symbolizes this dominance.

“  CATL rose from almost nothing five years ago to capture more than 30% of the global market, which is twice the share of the former battery oligarch Panasonic. In 2018, CATL and Panasonic both had around 16% of the market  ,” he explains.

Despite this domination, explains the report, China cannot satisfy all of the world demand which is currently exploding, due to the ambitions of most car manufacturers in the electric sector.

The report indicates that the production of the metals essential to this industry does not follow the same curve as the demand, taking into account the time that it takes for example between the discovery of a deposit and the entry into production of a mine. to exploit it.

Governments must play a greater role in encouraging mining, refining and the production of battery cells […]. Lithium is plentiful, but significant investment is needed in new hard rock mines to meet the growing and rampant demand.” ,” said Daniel Clarke, another analyst at Global Data.

Experts note that this is an issue that some African countries, in this case Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) seem to have understood.

In addition to their efforts to increase their production of copper, they explain, the two main producers of red metal on the continent, the DRC, Mozambique and Zambia, are now working together to build a local industry for the transformation of their copper, lithium and cobalt resources, in order to supply the electric vehicle industry with materials for batteries.

Specialists say that until these plans materialize, Africa’s participation in the energy transition through metals is currently limited to supplying the raw material to American, Japanese and Chinese industries.

In recent years, several Congolese and Zambian companies have concluded agreements with mining companies active in strategic metal projects in Africa, whether lithium with CATL in Manono in the DRC, Mozambican graphite processed in the United States , or the Congolese cobalt on which the world depends for more than 70%.

Recall that a few days ago, a battery production plant was inaugurated in Lubumbashi in the province of Haut Katanga.

With the advent of this plant, the DRC intends to fully exploit its capacity to produce lithium, in particular with the new lithium deposit in Manono, in the province of Tanganyka.

On Zijin vs Cath

Zijin out - Cath in

Gov wants to show it's dealing with corruption and unfair contracts while promoting investment and win-win partnerships.

Keeping CATH at the party takes the country factor out of there equation and lets them boot out zijin without simply coming across as anti China.

Not all Chinese companies are equal

Zijin is perfect example of what government wants to get rid of.

Cath perfect example of partnerships they want to encourage.

AVZ will get whatever share that was expected when they were negotiating with CATH.

Just depends if the Gov wants to retain more than 10%, but unlikely as their goal is to attract investment not finance themselves, and AVZ/Cath/Manono will be kicking off bigger things in batteries for DRC.

I think that’s the reason that AVZ haven’t disclosed this previously in an announcement

If that's true then that's also not a good look given the time it has taken to get to ministerial decree.

Oh well

Go AVZ!
I have nothing useful to add

The situation in the space of a few weeks has turned into an absolute shit show

Fuck the lot of them

I'll review my investment once we get an official announcement

And I can guarantee I will never again place any of my funds anywhere that even smells like sovereign risk...

Just about spells out what this rampant speculation and the silence of management after saying CAMI approval in a few days is causing.
I sure hope we do see something today/tomorrow when this is the way the better informed shareholders are feeling.

If there was a timely resolution to this matter and the Cath deal was finalised, I think many would be in a more positive mind space and be looking forward to our other announcements (as we were prior to the Boatman report.).

Hey Beisha would you be so kind to point me in the right direction of where you started learning charting and approximately how long it took you to get to your abilities currently ?
Hi mate

Alot of folk ask me this, which is why i am going to set up a ROBIN HOOD TA EDUCATION thread @ TSE , it will encompass all the online videos i learnt via the master RAYNER TEO.

I had planned to do this with HC, but the ole multi nic, narcissist FLASHPOINT wouldnt allow it.........cried to the mods claiming it was " advertising "

The irony is.......he needs all the help he can get !!

It took me 3 years to master TA, but that included Elliott Wave which is fairy intricate and involves alot of heads down thumbs up.

You could master it it alot quicker if you just concentrated on SUPPORT & RESISTANCE, CANDLE STICKS, MOVING AVERAGES TREND LINES, RSI 14, BOLLIE BANDS, FIBONNACI.

I will tag you when i set it up.

Watch this space.

Serious question for you mate, I see you own IXR. Thats Uganda isn't it? Do you have a good feel for the mining licence process over there? I don't hold, but it seems to be an AVZ equivalent. And does the register have any Chinese holders?

Especially if they are planning on dropping POSITIVE news ohreally.

5 years into the project and in the last 2 months we've seen more drama than we should have. Sovereign risk was always a thing, as was corruption in DRC. Project coming close to fruition has just brought out all the bullshit, wouldn't be surprised if it was chinese intent from the get go.

Hey @Roller62 is there a digital copy of the DRC mining code anywhere? I can't seem to find it, so if you had a link, I'd appreciate it thanks

I would think ML and 75% ownership needs to be confirmed. Then FID can happen with Cath forwarding the mula.

I've been holding IXR for a while now and fundamentals are indeed comparable to AVZ. Largest rare earth deposit outside china and owners of a proprietary extraction process making this a vertically integrated mining/refining business opportunity. DFS expected in October and around same time application of mining licence. Pilot refining plant also in the works. End of year this can significantly re-rate - all IMO ofcourse. Uganda much better business climate, but, hey, 'Sovereign Risks' are, to a degree, everywhere, just ask the Oil and Gas companies in the UK who just have been slapped with a 5bln pound windfall tax.
