Because at the time it was a good deal, since then with additional drilling and a mountain load of other shit, not to mention if we successfully beat china and corruption, it is/will be worth much more than $10M per 1%.

Its a chinese coup all the way, always was, that's why CATH kept delaying their $240m with bs, they knew exactly what was going on behind the scenes. Large Chinese entities dont get to act too far out of CPP interests. I'd go as far as to say the meeting CATH had with Felix and Felix's trip to China all involved discussions about the coup. They're all bloody in on it together, and I'd assume China gave some off the record assurances to Felix if he can make it all happen (arms deal or who the hell knows), that's why Felix is deadly silent in the face of huge corruption. These high level discussions with AVZ are there as a backup if their plan fails, but oh boy are we up agasint some corrupt mofo's, a whole army of them....CCP, CATH, Zijin, Cominiere, two faced Tommy, MMGA treasonous snakes, Cong and Dathomir, Bogman the shorter, the RDC govelrnment(the whole fukn lot of them, idc what anyone says....and that's why they are all so smug and cocky because they know exactly the army they have on their side.

So yeah I've always been of the opinion that we shouldnt have let these Chinese scammers get their nose even close to our assets. 100% CATH will not break the terms forcing them to pay the $20m if current board stays in.

Therefore cap raise, SPP, arab banks, who cares, whatever the F is needed to F them all off and build the mine, F them all. Bring in some big arab, european or american investors if we can, but just stay the hell away from all the Chinese which all the RDC officials will take bribes from. Add clauses to every single contract about colluding with anyone who is not AVZ.

We seem to still have a decent journey ahead unfortunately, I cant see all these dogs laying down even if we win every court case

It's a nice dream. But I can't see anyone other than the Chinese being interested in the DRC.

The whole reason why people don't want to invest in the DRC is because of what we are going through now. If we come out at the end of it having won against corruption, the risk has been removed and the government will want us to succeed for revenue. some other major paying $500M (nothing to their pockets) for a minority percentage in a project like this is a very good investment. Dream all you want - the world is watching and waiting on the sidelines.
CATL need us more than we need them IMO. they would be a great partner because of their credibility in the battery space, but there are other alternatives.

While i know people are keen to calculate the % in favour of the board - i'd suggest not giving out too many figures, just to be safe. We want to calculate, but surely the detractors are doing the same.

BOD should have visibility of numbers already voted and a handle on the rest.

Just keep pushing to follow BOD approved voting, with blocking as an option for those who are vote savvy.

Yes I havent spoke to the AVZ reps doing the rounds so I emailed the company stating the way ill vote.

I'm not so sure. I still think any MOU discussions are on hold.
I reckon things were going ok until MMGA arseholes got involved, so DRC et al are waiting to see if their problems get solved by their puppets getting elected at the AGM.
AVZ has let them know that if the current BoD are re-elected, their legal hand is getting stronger, and we have the funding to make it to the end.
So after the AGM, the DRC et al will have to go back to progressing the MOU if they want the legal stuff to go away. We are dug in and prepared for the long haul.

are you implying AVZ lied when they stated CATH waived the ML criteria in the deal? or you're saying DRC wouldnt allow it?
