In Germany we don't have HINs or SRNs. Guess it is not possible to vote. Can't even remember that I ever got anything from my bank to vote or participate.
Contact Automic, I am sure they can help. It is your right as a shareholder to have your vote countedIn Germany we don't have HINs or SRNs. Guess it is not possible to vote. Can't even remember that I ever got anything from my bank to vote or participate.
I'm from Germany. Can I vote too? Only 250k shares, but I think every single vote matters.
I think I didn't receive an invitation to vote yet. Holding since 4 years.

Every year I receive a notice via email on voting and every year I have voted without attending the AGM so why is there so much fuss on this simple matter.
I honestly can't believe that someone would invest their hard-earned money in a company and not bother to register with the share registry or vote at the AGM. I've been fucken gobsmacked at the level of ignorance, laziness or downright stupidity show in some of these replies. If you are able to create an account on TSE then you are capable of registering with Automic and voting. Fuck me dead it's not that hard.Well mate, you are obviously one of the ~30% of shareholders who actually make the effort to register with the various share registry companies by setting up your account, providing an email address and a mailing address and actively vote whenever required
We have another ~70% who probably have never bothered to assert their voting rights, and thats how fucking ridiculous resolutions get passed - shareholder apathy kills companies
So, why don't you pull your fucking finger out and get active with friends and/or associates who you might know own AVZ shares, and at least make sure they are prepared to make their votes count
Maybe this could be reposted everyday morning and night. Just to etch it into everyone's minds. They are trying to steal OUR company!!
YepIt just occured to me I have a smaller amount of AVZ shares in my super too but they're not registered at Automic.
I should look into that.
Anyone else the same?
yeah, I would expect your shares are held in a Nominee Company through your Bank. I'm not au fait with how holders in such circumstances can vote, but there may be someone who can clarify.
Maybe @Deboss will know, and might like to contribute some useful information, instead of mocking from the sidelines
Wonder why the DRC Mining marketing is praising the Gringo Eric Allard over Serge Ngandu who by all accounts performed really well at the conference, is every institution in the DRC against $avz?
OHHH I love it when you are firm with meSo let's get it straight shareholders
Get off your arse
Get proactive
Because if you don't actually do something you will not have an effective voice or an effective vote for the 2023 AGM
Get online at Automic
Set your shit up (it's easy)
Or if you prefer paper that's cool you can do that too when the voting form is released
Which ever way you do it make absolutely sure you either appoint the chair as the proxy to vote and direct them to vote correctly on your behalf or simply vote yourself (very easy online)
Remember for the resolutions of appointment of new directors:
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Peter Huljich
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Michael J Carrick
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Ty Ludbrook
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Peter Huljich
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Michael J Carrick
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Ty Ludbrook
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Peter Huljich
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Michael J Carrick
Vote AGAINST the nomination of Ty Ludbrook

I've said it before.......keep me out your fantasiesOHHH I love it when you are firm with me
Yeah mate, I hold my shares through Netwealth and they're trustee so (probably like any other super funds) they don't generally provide you with an option to vote via your owned shares. They'll vote themselves and generally just pass all resolutions without looking into it. HOWEVER, I have spoken with them before about this and once a voting form is released, you can email them and make a request directly for how you'd like them to vote. They'll look into it further on this premise, and then if enough people are making the same request, they will adjust accordingly. It just occured to me I have a smaller amount of AVZ shares in my super too but they're not registered at Automic.

Just had a look at some old proxy forms: From the horse's mouth. It doesn’t work like that.
If you don’t vote…..you haven’t voted and there is no vote counted from anywhere.
In order for the Chairman to vote for you, you have to fill in the form and nominate him to vote on your behalf.
It’s easier just to vote yourself as others have said. It’s piss easy to do online on Automic portal.
It’s actually easier to vote like that yourself than to nominate the Chair as your proxy to vote on your behalf.
It’s very important that shareholders make the effort to make their vote count this time around to ensure the clown puppet nominations do not succeed.
I havent seen any feedback on twitter for this session, has anyone come across anything? More broadly havent seen much of any writeup of the two days, it seems to be very quiet on my feed. I'm assuming we may see more reviews/writeups post completion of the event, so tonight/tomorrow night hopefully.Christian Lukusa is Chairing the panel discussion tonight at 8:40pm AEST
Adele Kahinda Mayina (MoP) and Nicolas Kazadi (Minister of Finance) will be speaking on…. How do we attract and de-risk foreign investment (No laughing please)
Olivier Mwenze (Minister of Hydraulic Resources and Electricity) will be speaking on…. How to guarantee electricity supply

@Xerof has been sent back to New Zealand and barred from future cocktail events after making his standard strength margaritas and giving them to Kibeya who in turn embarrassed the DRC and became the laughing stock of the event
Looking forward to hearing Christian Lukusa’s post event commentary
