This could be good news for $AVZ. Let’s see how things play out. However, the new head of CAMI didn’t explicitly mention the “success of Manono” being with or without $AVZ involvement. Hopefully, they aren’t veiled diplomatic languages. Either way, ongoing discussions r positive.

Its easy to say, the wrinkle is when you have to make under the table, backhander deals to get stuff done in less than stellar jurisdictions... like say giving up half the project to get it over the line or entertaining a little corruption with a bit of feigned distance.

If we had a more experience BOD... MAYBE we would be mining now and paying a slap on the wrist fine or maybe with a different BOD we would have been robbed blind and our investment dollars siphoned off to corrupt foreign interests.

Just give me an end to this saga. Occupies far too much of my day and mind with unknowns.
In the last 2 weeks we have been on highs because it's almost happening for us then huge lows because something else has come up.
The bulk of us will never understand how the DRC works and their thinking and for mine the Chinese are not going to walk away without using every last devious option they can come up with.
I don't know what the answer is, we are all guessing here. Maybe it is the ICC, I hope so and soon.

The chinese linked to the CCP is not what anyone wants. Corruption pays if it favours the CCP and their cronies but brings the death penalty in China if it disadvantages the CCP. I am looking forward to the day when the CCP is annihilated by the US with its advanced weapons with can reach china in minues. Also that little fat man from NK who is all fat that leaves little room for his tiny brain.

They're not exactly fantasies mate, when the head of Cominiere is basically publicly stating that this is their plan. They may not come to pass, as we have the best BOD on the ASX on the case, though we've been blindsided before.

But thanks for your input as always. Anytime you've got some more tidbits from the 'inside track' of our imminent success please do put them forward. Though the others never worked out, I could still use the hope.

Yes the rumour thing was likely 100% Bullshit.

I followed up with Kiki on his article where it says Lisette is related to PR05, he stated that Lisette is of the same ethnic origins (a misunderstood importance from us westerners), she is in his political party and also her father is a friend of PR05 father. This is a family bond here.
Kiki says they are indeed very close allies. Delicate., in the face of what the IGF report said of her.

Can we expect anything of merit to happen at the ICC hearing at the end of September(ish) or will it just be a procedural event to say that they have the evidence and will deliberate for the next 658 months or set a date for the next hearing? All assuming there are no more extensions required!

I'm getting the feeling Cominiere along with MoM are not going to wait for the legal process to play out. The project is far too significant to have it locked up for the next 3 to 5 years . As the MoM said earlier this year , it is a matter of urgency . Would they start without AVZ and let the legal process run it's course drawing it out as long as they can ? By which time they will have a mine up and running with their Chinese masters making $$ Billions . Is that a possibility ? They clearly do not seemed perturbed by any negative international attention . Or do they settle with AVZ and have nice clean slate to continue their loved up relationship with their Chinese Masters who give them backhanders and rip off the DRC people ? Which will it be ? Lets not forget the Chinese have CKK over a barrel ? But hey he just got promoted with the backing of the President .

I'm positive / negative . In light of recent events I am leaning toward AVZ being paid out in the near term . That includes the smile on Nigel's face IMO
