@Misfits I didn't get to read any of the tweets so I don't know what was in them. You could always PM what you put in them to me as I wouldn't mind a look at what you did, obviously anything that is done has to be done prudently

@Mr Inappropriate, the President could have given the order to grant the ML anytime during the last year, and the people in the DRC that are in our corner have already made themselves known (Kiki Kienge etc) as have the one's who aren't in our corner, and have made themselves obvious by the lack of support to our situation

Good luck if you have a different view in a few months, I won't be here by then, I've been here nearly every day for the last year supporting shareholders of this company and there's too many lazy, gutless or non committed holders, many who only come out to say boo when they get scared someone might call out the level corruption and how high it goes.

Here's a secret for you, I've come to terms with writing off my 3 million shares and what they cost me, and what they might be worth, it's not worth putting in the effort when there's so many shareholders who just sit on the sidelines peeling oranges rather than participating.

I personally, would love to do more (have, some what, helped with the initial drafting of the letter to the AFR and other authorities - which solicited no response unfortunately from my understanding). My email to AVZ HQ was met with a "i dont know anything".

But I, like many here i would presume, do have a Full time job, and esp with a 1YO thrown into the mix, added pressures of moving due to rising living costs (rent of my current place went up $500/wk) - i don't have the headspace to interpret many of these tweets, DRC law, and everything that is happening with this Company.

I am hopeful, but am preparing for the worst as you have. if this entire project is a write off, this would put my savings back by quite a substantial amount - including my life plans. But, it is what it is.

Shareholders have been hanging around for AGES (i.e. over 5 yrs now?) on the hopes that this would make a life-changing impact on the world and our financial positions. We've been more than patient enough, trying to realise the full potential of our investment.

Hey @MoneyBags1348 I tried messaging but issues apparently.

I just copied what your post was but put it over 6 parts due to the size and letter allowance on Twitter. I was respectful and called him Mr President etc. So nothing added from the context of your post. I was also asked by someone on Twitter to remove it, hence the removal. I don't get it at times with people here and Twitter. Everyone seems to think they know what is best more than the next person. Time for a hiatus for a bit from me.

Mate no one knows jack shit we're just doing the best we can with what little information we have.
We're all pretty scared to be honest.

I know this place is a protected spot for AVZ investors to talk and sometimes blow off steam.
But it's really important no to let things fall into, lets say toxic negativity.

Sounds corny but when things are at their darkest, that's when we need as many people as possible to keep their candles lit.
Not mindless pumping, just encouragement and clear thinking.

My view is that us shareholders should stay away from expressing DRC political views* as we run the risk of alienating the people we need in our corner.

*I may have a different view if we are still in the shitshow for a few more months.
The nige mistook a whole heap of shit imo. The only thing he got right was the core's. So great geo. Imo

Mate there is absolutely no need to explain yourself to anyone. You did as I did , we did our research before buying this stock so our job is to read company ans watch the lithium space in general and watch the sp. We shouldn't have to be some sort of computer detective or keyboard warrior. And we are definitely not psychologists that are able to know we where lied to by management as apparently bod's lying is against the rules. So cheers mate have a drink we just have to wait and see what happens. But fuck the patience bit.

One of the shareholders in a group I keep in touch with privately sent us this today

I haven’t looked into JC Muyambo but my opinion is it’s time for our shareholders on Twitter to contact him and offer him support and information on our situation….

During a press briefing held this Friday in Lubumbashi, capital of Haut-Katanga province, the president of the Congolese Solidarity for Democracy (SCODE) political party expressed his sadness following the regression of the situation. sociopolitics in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

According to him, Felix Tshisekedi failed to do better than his predecessor, Kabila

JC Muyambo: “We had a lot of hope that F. Tshisekedi would change things but in 4 years, he is worse than Kabila”

Even the periods of Mobutu, Mzée Kabila and Kabila the son, we have never known such a dear life. Kabila has become even well,” he said.

And to add, during the next elections, the objective is to remove Felix Tshisekedi from power.

“We have a single objective to ensure that in December 2023, Félix Tshisekedi must be erased and that he leaves power”

But we too have estimated that by then, we will keep you informed of the electoral platform so that we get together with other candidates to oust Mr. Tshisekedi from power,” he said.

On a separate matter…. recently the IMF was in Kinshasa assessing the DRC government’s economic program and discussing the extended credit facility as well as discussing the mining sector and sector reforms

Seems to me this may be the reason the govt didn’t want any bad press (via Twitter) on their minister’s and the corruption around Cominiere, CKK, Zijin and Cong

Hopefully someone here or on Twitter may use this information to help our cause in the DRC…. Seems the majority of shareholders who look at tse sit back and just allow others to try and support our cause
We don’t all have the confidence to reply MB. I know that’s a cop out but I honestly don’t believe I have anything I can add to this conversation: I come here for a glimmer of hope but really I feel the outcome is out of our hands. It all comes down to Felix wanting to award the license to us which means he has to, at least not hate us. Which is why I think we all just need to back off with the negative Twittering and hope that our people are doing what they need to behind the scenes to score us a favourable outcome. We’re all heavily invested and our futures are teetering on this. I don’t have 3 million shares, but at our peak I could have (and should have) paid off our house instead of paying it for another 25 years. I have spent hours trawling the internet, have shared Twitter posts that I thought were helpful. But what is any of it going to achieve. The truth is, none of us know. Not even Deboss 😉 🙄

I appreciate your response too (as well as Thaz)…. You may not be able to commit more than you already do, but your still here contributing.

Some people post “Oh no what ever you do don’t allude to the DRC govt being corrupt or they won’t give us our license” and they get 40 likes…. They’re the ones I’m referring to

I appreciate your reply Thaz, I know you participated in the AFR response with (@Winenut and the others). Your not who I am referring to, you’ve contributed as much as you can, I’m referring to larger holders who are well versed in stocks and don’t have to move house.

And I appreciate that you don’t winge about our BOD and exec’s because what’s worse than anything is when people who contribute have to listen to wingers like @Onthefm who are here nearly every day winging and wining and have never posted one single bit of information to support our company, and makes comments about me and won’t even mention me by name

@Onthefm I have shareholder friends who also attended the Melbourne roadshow who told me you were a complete bogan. I personally don’t know how they managed to give you that much credit…. You are stupid old fuck and your intelligence is about on par with a worm, that’s right mate it’s below ground level

You are the biggest fucken winging dickhead this company has on its register and you had the opportunity to sell at $1.30 you poor simple fuckwit

Seeing I’m going to put you back on ignore why don’t you report me to @zeeb0t you simpleton because that’s what I deserve

We can never know the effects of what we've done on Twitter, and those who have contacted various Gov departments, NGO's and Journalists.
Sometimes I feel like we're just pissing in the wind to be honest.
But if you reflect upon all the noise we've made in the last year, I can't help but think it's not for nothing.

If DRC officials are pissed off at the spotlight we've cast at them, it's only because they suddenly can't operate as freely in corruption as they once did.
It's the most corrupt country on earth right? So yes, they are indeed all corrupt cunts and they know it! Which is why what we've been doing is painful for them.
But we still have to work with them especially under the new apointed Government.

We've been shining as many spotlights as we can find, for a long time now.
Again I can't help but think it's helped our cause.
It may be in ways we can never know, like suddenly certain bastards can't be so blatently corrupt any more. We may have created an environment where under the table deals that would be detrimental to us, couldn't happen.

We've created a LOT of noise, and I bet certain cunts wish they hadn't stired up this hornets nest.

I think for the most part we've done about as much as we can for the moment.
We all have our fingers crossed that things will get pushed over the line sooner rather than later.

It's Lobsters on @JAG 's boat for everyone when it happens :)

Also appreciate your contributions Aaron even though we have different views you are always here contributing

Seems a bit hard getting the message through but hopefully I won’t keep trying, seems too many believe Tshisekedi will just grant our license

Thanks Bags, I appreciare the resource library you've created here, it's really invaluable and I've used it a few times.

I do agree with you about exposing the corrupt ministers, and I feel we went hell for leather for a good long time on that point.
We waged our war, but now my opinion is that it's best to follow the lead from what we're being told. I know it's second hand information, but since I also hear this message from congolese who apparently are part of the backroom discussions, I believe it to be true, or at least I believe we should give it a chance.

The new government has formed and we have only them to grant us what we want. We now have to work with them.
It's clear we aren't getting rid of any ministers at this point, not after the campaign we waged against the MoP in particular, and that was with a damming IGF report in our pockets!

You need to drink some green tea and calm the fuck down MB 😂

You're not the gatekeeper of AVZ. Anybody can invest in AVZ whether they have 10,000 shares, 50,000 or 100,000 or 3 Million units. If they're a bogan or not a bogan. If they're intelligent or not intelligent. If they have an investment strategy or if they just threw money into it. It doesn't make anyone any less than you. We are all AVZ shareholders and stuck in this predicament.
Calling other holders fuckwits because they haven't done as much research as you or be involved as other people is just shit.

Has some empathy ffs. Might be time for @Xerof to give you an exorcism, or maybe a circumcision might be more appropriate. 🍍🍍

Good to be reminded that I'm not alone, not the only stressed out SH, thinking & behaving irrationally at times 🤪

A few friends & I have lost parents in the last few weeks - that late 50's / 60's experience. Gives me perspective on my own life. I'm trying act constructively (twitter) on AVZ but more so trying to put my, family & friend's health 1st - mental, emotional, physical. Be gentle with yourselves & your loved ones ... and still constructively stand for justice & against corruption (love your work MB). If AVZ don't get ML by/in June (2023), maybe I'll go offensive on twitter. BR 🦅

I provided some respectful advice on whether to publish or not, but was beaten to the buzzer. Thank fuck it was deleted before FT got out of bed and saw it.

There is some quality stuff on twitter tonight, which is a welcome sight for sore eyes, and it's coming from Congolese. AVZ shareholders are strongly supporting these posts, and for now IMO, thats what we should be doing

I did notice some trolling cunts are now posting links to posts from here on Twitter, so be careful with your confessions

@Scoota30 I will not go anywhere near Bags's penis under any circumstances, let alone circumcision. Is that similar to circumnavigation?

Landry Meya castigated anti-values in mining company procurement departments at the Linc annual conference in Kolwezi

April 23, 2023

Eric Kasongo
The national president of the association of subcontractors of Congo and CEO of the company AKATA RDC Landry Meya castigated the anti-values which corrode certain services of the supply chains and contracting of main companies in the mining sector during of the LINC annual conference organized on Saturday April 22, 2023 in Kolwezi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
For the national president of subcontractors; despite some anti-corruption policies put in place by the main companies, however, some procurement and contracting managers in the mining sector have not yet said their last words with this dirty work of corruption, nepotism, clientelism and favoritism instead of competence; the latter even violate law 17/001 in its provision which requires the main company to pay 30% to the local companies of the subcontractors at the signing of the contract.

The relationship between the main companies and the subcontracting companies must be win-win and this to materialize the vision of the head of state Felix Tshisekedi of the creation of a class of millionaires…; Congolese who work in the mining sector must demonstrate a very high sense of patriotism, insisted Landry Meya in front of an attentive audience of mining operators present at this conference.
It is noted that this conference the LINC was also a place of collaborative networking and a platform for discussion and exchange of experience, sale of services revealed the general manager of the company AKATA RDC Christian Meya .
