FROM ELPHA ON THE CRAPPER

Good morning AVZ ers

Long time no speak.

Some 'unofficial' news out of the DRC this morning. If the below account is true and President did indeed visit Manono last week, then I'd opine that he wanted to see & hear for himself the real situation at Manono prior to providing a possible presidential order for an ML (for the entirety of PR13359?) to be awarded to Dathcom.

With some clarity from Marius Mihigo plus an election looming, I have a feeling he is close to providing a decision one way or another.

And FWIW, the COO from Cominiere has just dug his own grave IMO by misleading the DRC Govt and stamping it with public comments made via a recent TV interview. https://hotcrapper.com.au/styles/default/xenforo/clear.png

Not wanting to pour cold water on things, but having been through all the disappointments/false hopes like everyone else, it's worth noting that the words "Unofficial president Tshisekedi people" likely don't mean the President himself, contrary to elpha's interpretation.
Apologies if this is nit picking...

That is a very slow news feed if he did indeed visit Manono last week.

Not nitpicking imo - its not a bad piece of news, however its another opportunity for Chinese whispers or intentional disinformation to be conveyed to FT. I would be much happier if he viewed the happenings with his own eyeballs instead. Still, at least there seems to be some action.

I think it states 'unofficial FT people' visited Manono, not FT.
That is what I read out of the tweet.

Anyhow could be an important event that he sends his own people to do some fact finding for him.
It could indicate that behind the scenes FT is busy

No runway in Manono long enough for the oversize Lear Jet!

It would be nice for once to see the words "Official" and to hear FT say AVZ.

If they did visit Monono no doubt ZINJIN reps would have intercepted their journey back and handed over brown bags as a good gesture and win/win proposal. 😁😁;);)

Joseph Kabila more and more alone!

Honorary President Joseph Kabila is increasingly isolated.

After power, the former President of the Republic is let go by his former collaborators who whispered words of love in his ear.

The foxes pack up and leave after grabbing the cheese the crow was holding.

The perched tree is no longer furnished and empties day after day.

They sang Kabila.

They even deified him at a time when the people cried out in misery.

Some of them have gone so far as to write books and defend the most unfathomable theses to consume the former president and find a parade to keep him in power as long as possible.

But, it took Felix Tshisekedi to land at the top of the state, for the Congolese nation to discover that those who claimed to be pure and hard Kabilists, were only simple unrepentant ventriotes who couldn't care less about the succession of the Mother -Country.

In the eyes of informed observers, indeed, this transhumance of pure and hard Kabilists is not at all surprising, because in his time Joseph Kabila had admitted that he lacked 15 good collaborators to put the country back on track.

Today, time seems to agree with the predecessor of Félix Tshisekedi who said a lot about the realities of Congolese political power without anyone, neither hell nor the devil being able to give him credit.

Blinded or stupefied by the political opposition of yesteryear?

Difficult to answer.

But also, although everything that Joseph Kabila said seems to be true at first glance, does this customs as much responsibility in the management of the res publica?

Far from it, because reality can in no way obscure the truth No matter how long it takes.

That said, we are entitled to ask ourselves in which school the son of Mzée studied and what sciences does he apply to understand so well and in the smallest details the Congolese politician?

Alive, the timeless Kabila would do better to work from now on to establish his transformative ideology of Zairian man in Congolese if he still thinks about it, otherwise the deluge is before us with this new political class.

The fact we all picked up on the fact that Felix DIDN'T actually visit Manono, reinforces the quality and unbiased search for facts on TSE.

Fucking crapper and twitter are now disseminating misinformation, even though I know we are all on the same side.

We don't need to stoop to the levels of our detractors by spreading shit

And GO MARIUS, you fucking legend

Burn him lol

Brilliant
I'm wondering whether Acting Commisioner Celestin Kibeya will be thrown under the bus. He appears to be a sacrificial lamb. Correct me if I'm wrong but I hadn't seen his name prior to the interview.

He's been deeply involved in the corrupt dealings impacting Dathcom. Prior to his role as acting MD given the detainment of his predecessor KIBEYA was Cominiere's Technical Director / Chief Operating Officer. Documentation presented by journalists and civil society actors in 2022 *including minutes of Cominiere board meetings* showed he was one of those involved in orchestrating the Zijin theft of the 15%, for which the deposit has disappeared into various pockets. its believed he was behind the two mysteriously identical yet allegedly independent valuations of the 15% supporting that looting effort by providing documentation undervaluing that in comparison to the DFS data. He's also thought to have existing relations with Zijin through previous links with Kamoa Copper which no doubt helped facilitate their entry into this game - so he should be considered one of the architects of our drama along with the other two Cominiere officials, DG Cami, MOP, etc.

He's also faced accusations over corruption with relation to the United Cominiere / Tantalex case with Eric Allard, with his signature co-signing against various dodgy deeds. Along with other various scandals. He's a corrupt rat through and through and I hope MM does indeed burn him. There's plenty of evidence to support a burning.

Various actors in DRC attempted to have him implicated and imprisoned alongside his Cominiere colleagues regarding the irregular transfer to Zijin without success. Perhaps he feels the walls closing in?

This is the finest string of posts I have seen in months. The poster of old mate is a dead set cracker, hilarious. Problem is these people don't appear to suffer from the concepts of embarrassment or shame, it just washes around them in a sea acceptance of underperforming, lies, corruption and bullshit. The princess just sits there in the Friday ministerial meeting like a saint, it sickens me every week.
